"First time trying Caribbean food and it was SO good!!! We got the boneless and the half jerk chicken with the spicy sauce and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect level of heat and so flavoursome. The dishes were very big!! Good value for money. The corn ribs were so good we wanted to eat a hundred more lol and the cheese empanada was the same. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely restaurant. Lovely vibe. Dog friendly in seating area which is covered with strong heaters. Food amazing. Ordered whole lobster, crab, huge king prawns, smoked bread, cheese board with dessert wine. Atlantic beer was lovely. Prosecco cold crisp. Served by the beautiful, friendly Lily-Grace last night who gave us the food recommendations. Will definitely be back soon with friends. If you have driven passed, thinking you must try that place.....what are you waiting for? Get in there....you won't be disappointed. ENJOY!!!!"

"Came here for lunch with my husband and two small children (2 under 2) and the staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. I tried a wine that I was not keen on and the sommelier went out of her way to bring me two other wines which she thought I would like after asking my taste. Food was lovely as always. Will be returning."

"**Review:** I had an outstanding dining experience! The service was superb, making our dinner truly enjoyable. The price per person was around £30–40, which I found to be reasonable for the quality provided. Both the food and service received a perfect rating of 5, and the atmosphere was equally impressive. I highly recommend trying the Cote De Boeuf (28oz). Plus, there’s plenty of parking available!"

"I have been to Miller and Carter before in the evening and day time lunch was quite a different experience. The restaurant was very quiet and although staff were not busy our waiter could not raise a smile. The food took a long time to arrive, we ordered chateaubriand which was delicious, however the sweet potato fries were over cooked. We were very excited about going to Miller and Carter and left very underwhelmed by the experience."

"My husband and I had a fantastic 3 course lunch on Friday. We opted for the lunch menu and upgraded the steak to a fillet. Our servers Caren and Flo were attentive, courteous and polite. We felt really spoilt. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was first class. We cannot wait to return."

"We stayed 4 nights and ate at the restaurant each night. Excellent rump steak, so tender, cooked to perfection. Fresh vegetables and delicious deserts. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommend for dinner. Rooms pleasant, bit small for twin beds, but that’s the UK in general if you stay at Inns which are 450 years old!"

"This restaurant is a hidden gem. It is truly one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. The dishes are simple yet expertly prepared with tight flavors."

"We only visit 3 4 times a year for Birthdays , anniversaries etc and have always had a brilliant time great food and service unfortunately on our most recent visit it just wasn’t the same. 5 This visit was for our anniversary we ordered a nacho sharer starter followed the signature cote du boeuf with wine, lobster tail and Mac and cheese at £100 unfortunately we found the quality and size of the nachos very poor compared to all our other visits. The nachos use to be fantastic and obviously hand cut and tasty where as no they are so obviously lower quality. No complaints about the steak apart from the wrong one being brought to us first bit mistakes happen. However the quality of service has also dropped considerable. Having ordered our food and drinks when our wine was brought to the table it was already opened, the server didn’t show the wine, name the wine or offer to pour it was just put on the table in front of us with a Simple here’s your wine. When paying between £60 and £90 per person I don’t think it unreasonable to expect a certain level of service and this certainly was not up to scratch."

"When we talk to people about where we live and places to eat, we are proud to always mention Sotirios as one of Folkestone’s treasures. Sotirios thoroughly deserves its reputation as one of the highest rated places to eat in Kent. We have loved going to Sotirios for several years now and will continue to do so for years to come. We tend to go for special occasions such as birthdays, valentines, and romantic date nights. If you mention when booking what the occasion is, they always do something to make your visit extra special. The food is delicious especially the main courses such as the Lamb Shank, the Vegetable Moussaka, and the Halibut. We always recommend Sotirios to people who are looking for fantastic food of a Greek, Mediterranean and British fusion cuisine. The setting itself is a perfect ambience for what we look for in a nice restaurant. It’s well lit but still dim enough to be a relaxing and warm space. Very nicely decorated and laid out, and always very clean. On top, for us, is the service. Sotirios is a family run restaurant and you absolutely get that vibe in the best of ways from the moment you walk in. It’s co owned by a father and two of his sons, who all work there and play various roles in combination with the rest of the team. You’re usually greeted by Lucas or Alex sons of the founder, Costas. If you’re not, you will definitely meet them during your visit as they clearly make a point to greet and check in on everybody. Costas also joins the front of house team and waits tables which, for me, completes the family run vibe. I am sure Costas is very proud of his team and what they have accomplished, and they fully deserve all of the praise and recognition they get. Parking: Facing the restaurant, to the right hand side is a small car park with a handful of spaces. Note that you should not park there before 6pm as I think it is shared with local residents. If you are not lucky enough to get a spot, try Manor Road we’ve never failed to find parking there."

"Stopped into this restaurant on our way home from a good day out. This meal topped off a fantastic day out for us. We’ve often seen this restaurant but never been in before. The welcome was lovely and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The food, well what can I say, I always have a signature dish I like if it’s on the menu to set the standard and they delivered a very tasty and highly flavoured dish. My husband enjoyed his chicken tikka jalfrezi also. The naan bread was gorgeous, we had a peshwari naan and it was the right amount of coconut which was scrummy."

"Walked in grabbed a table straight away, food order was taken soon after, drinks came quickly, food was close behind; fresh, tasty cooked well. Small cosy place to dine in but clean welcoming. Chose this place over others on the Main Street due to looking nicer, would come back again without a doubt! Pricey compared to what we’re used to but food justified the cost."

"This Indian restaurant, specializing in takeaways, delivers amazing food with quick and efficient service. The staff is notably helpful, and the peshwari naan stands out as the best I've had. While the setting is small and can get busy, the overall experience is worth it. Undoubtedly the best Indian in the area for both flavor and service."

"I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and was extremely impressed with every aspect of my experience. The price per person falls between £70–80, but the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere more than justifies it. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, earning a perfect rating of 5. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who made sure my dining experience was top-notch. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also top-notch, creating a relaxing and enjoyable environment to dine in. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special dining experience."

"We 'd eaten at St Giles before, and this felt a very different experience. The menu pitches itself more as bar meals than a full restaurant experience, and it does feel more like that. I did stand waiting to be noticed at the entrance for about 5 minutes. Then thankfully my wife realised I must be there as she was already at the table! Wine menu was reasonably priced, and the Rioja reserva we chose was fruity and tasty. My steak was pretty well cooked and tasty. My wife 's surf and turf was not quite right no choice taken on how the steak was cooked, and the lobster tail was overcooked. Also had to remind our server that chips had been promised with that surf and turf as they didn 't arrive. Very quiet. Only one group in the bar when we arrived for an early table. Service was unusual but did the job. With other great choices in Norwich I 'm not sure wed go back. A shame as we have great memories of fabulous meals in the previous version of this restaurant."

"A huge disappointment. First time here, party of 8 of us for my birthday. Venue is gorgeous, but that's where it ends. Kept waiting a very long time once food was ordered, to the point I had to get up and ask when it was coming and was told by the flustered waiter it's coming it's coming . Four of my guests ordered pina colada's all four of them sent it back saying there was no/ very little rum in it. They topped it up with the missing alcohol! Two of us ordered the dressed crab we both thought it was just okay nothing special. I had a lemon on the plate with like a net on it. Took the net off to squeeze over the dish and the lemon was dry with mouldy shrivelled skin that looked like it had been at the back of a cupboard for a week. I didn't complain because I was with guests, but it was noticed. Another guest ordered prawns for starters, They were mostly shell with just a load of sauce on top. There was confusion over the prawn/ lobster linguine which most of us ordered. The menu made it confusing. They ended up bringing us extra prawns separately because of it. I ended up with lobster linguine. We could not believe how bland the food was. It was a bowl of pasta with tomato sauce on! It was tasteless, the only give that gave it any seasoning was the pepper on the table. The lobster' was a rubbery texture that you couldn't taste because it was smothered in this tasteless sauce. There was not even a hint of garlic in it. For £29 that was a joke. We all thought the same, not just me. I could have bought a jar of sauce from the supermarket and made a bowl of that for all of us at home, I've had tastier meals from shop bought sauces than that meal. Our waiter was running around, and trying to get one of my guests to smile, which she found annoying. Someone else found a hair in her meal. He seemed to not know what to do with it, then just took the plate away without saying anything. He then returned and quite patronisingly said was it an eyelash or something She said no it was a long hair. He agreed to take it off the bill. The other staff were very quiet when bringing the food over, almost a whisper, considering music was playing and other people were talking and four of our guests had their backs to them when the food turned up, no one could hear them. We had to pipe up and say who's ordered xx The staff otherwise looked both busy and nonchalant. Busy, but not with us, and almost spaced out as though we didn't exist and we had to keep on waving for their attention. We honestly couldn't believe it. They gave us complimentary shots in the end but by then we were there for way longer than we expected and had had enough. They had lime but didn't even have any salt that you would normally have the shot with, again, we had to ask for it and they, all in their own good time, bought a small bowl of salt over. We didn't pay the £36 service charge they added to the bill. For a group of 8 of us, and we all felt the same, there has got to be something in it. We had high hopes for this restaurant but the quality of the food and service does not match the venue, and its all way way over priced. Needless to say, none of us will be going back."

"Charming little spot! We arrived for our reservation and were seated in just two minutes. There were no outdoor tables available at first, but the server assured us she would find us one as soon as possible. Five minutes later, she delivered a table, and we were able to soak up the sun and enjoy the beautiful views. The service was excellent, and the food was incredible. We dined out for five days, and this place was by far the best! Thank you!"

"Faultless. Party of 5, we visited on Fri 27th Jan 2012. Staff were wonderful, and happy to make informed recommendations when asked. I had calamari for starter before sharing a 700gm on the bone ribeye from O'Sheas. This was helped along by a couple of bottles of 2003 Chateau D'Issan, Margaux. Sides for the table; lobster tail, glazed carrots, trufe chips, plain chips, green beans, spinach creamed with Gruyere cheese, mac and cheese with truffle sauce and Parmesan. Sauces for the table; pepper, Bearnaise and Stilton. Deserts; choc mouse on crisp brownie base very light and tasty. Cheesecake and sundae was devoured elsewhere at the table. We closed the experience with some fine Corney Barrow 10yo Tawny Port. Without exception, everything was fantastic. This dining experience ran to £500 after service charge (wine £100 per bottle). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue, and I'll certainly return."

"I loved the ambiente, especially the bridge and pond with fishing! it is a beautiful note to the restaurant. service was great, and the staff was friendly and attentive, but the cuddles were a bit over boiled and hard, except the other dishes were as expected. I was impressed by the Pandan chicken wrapped in banan leaves when that was so tender."
