"We have been seated at the coldest table next to the Window , close to the kitchen. It was my mums birthday and we did make staff aware of it. Nobody have done check back when we had our starters which were not the greatest....We have waited for mains over an hour, nobody gave us cutlery after we had our starters , we were have to request. When we did that , the girl with dark blonde hair rolled her eyes on us. My mums majito was most of it ice , she couldn’t drink it , we asked for another one instead with no ice and in a smaller glass. The manager ignored our request and bought a drink to the table in the same long glass with full of soda that my mum couldn’t taste alcohol. The noice level was way to high the chefs were shouting and constantly complaining that none of the staff taking food. The entire our service was spoiled. Additionally, nobody asked us if we have any allergies. My brother had a burger with a spicy mustard which is not specified in a menu, myself I am allergic to spicy. Theoretically I could of been the one who tried the burger to check if child’s food is warm. They lucky that I didn’t. over , neither the waitress or the manager haven’t introduced themselves to us and it makes sense now. Overall , we wouldn’t recommend the place. Too pricy for a horrible service."

"I used to love this restaurant! The food was amazing and the ice cream was delicious. However, my last few experiences have been disappointing. Last week, I ordered a combo pizza deal with sides and a supper through Just Eat. The food arrived 75 minutes late and was cold. I called to complain and the manager agreed to remake the order. The second time it arrived, the supper was missing. They blamed the drivers for the mistakes. I spoke to a lady who promised to send the supper ASAP. However, we had already been waiting for over 3 hours. When we opened the pizza box, it was all bashed up as if it had been dropped. I spoke to the same lady again and she said the manager would call me back to discuss, but I never received a call. I'm not writing this review to get something for free, but to let you know that when you don't deliver on a paid meal, you lose customers. I paid for a meal and had to send it back twice due to your errors, but you didn't make things right. I've given you a week to respond, but it seems you're more focused on sarcastic remarks towards negative reviews. Please focus on fixing the problems in your restaurant and respect customers' hard-earned money."

"I visited this restaurant with friends on a Saturday for the bottomless brunch and had an outstanding experience. We were served by a gentleman named Chris who provided exceptional service. He was friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to assist us. The food was delicious with a wide variety of options and generous portions. It was also great value for money and conveniently located in Angel. Overall, our experience at Bills was fantastic and Chris definitely deserves a raise!"

"In my opinion, this is the best Chinese takeout in Aberdeen. However, the service can be inconsistent, ranging from excellent to only average. Today, I had only two prawns in my curry, whereas in the past week there were at least 7 or 8. I also had an extra dish added to my order without my consent and was charged extra for it. "We waited for an hour for our food, but it never came. The restaurant was not very busy, yet we were seated at a small table. When another diner arrived, she was seated right next to us, even though there were five other empty tables in the same area. The tables were already close together, but they moved her table even closer to make room for the empty tables. It was so cramped that I couldn't even get out of my seat. It was such a bad experience that we ended up canceling our food and leaving."

"Service was slow, however very polite, food seemed processed and turkey looked like sliced from the butcher so thin, meat was not a slice of steak was mushed excess pieces moulded together into a round mould and cold. also Cranachan was just mush like thick yoghurt with porridge oats through it? That was a major shock and in a soup bowl? Def need to check the recipe on this, one chipolata too. All food was just warm nothing special. Christmas menu yet no crackers? No one asked if we enjoyed our meal even when the dessert wasn’t eaten"

"We popped here after work to grab a quick bite. The burger looked good so we went with that. The beef came out a bit overcooked and the chips were undercooked. We constantly saw the waitresses bring food out then take it back to the kitchen again which puts me on the back foot for their ability to customise your food. "In watching the football it’s pretty busy. Only one poor girl working who is rushing about while her colleague traipses around pretending to be busy. "We purchase regularly from here via JustEat and have done since the beginning of Lockdown. We haven’t been to the cafe itself so cannot comment on anything in relation to the actual setting but are yet to be disappointed! Food always arrives within the estimated...timescale and hot and cold food is separated well. Portions are always more than adequate and food quality is superb. A personal favourite in our house is the Macaroni Cheese and the Mexican chicken panini. My only comment would be that anytime we have ordered the 1 person buffet it always comes with either Cheese or Cheese and Ham this is absolutely fine and I understand it is pot luck but a little more variety would be nice or an option to perhaps pay a little extra to specify sandwich filling (just a suggestion)."

"excellent dinner with my two sons. we divided 3 different steaks (chateaubriand, bone-in-ribbed eye, sirloin) and they were all delicious as the sides. we felt that the appetizers were a little disappointing, so that this is not 5 stars, but overall we really enjoyed our dinner and will return."

"Lovely food, great steak, veg done to perfection, delicious cocktails but getting a bit pricey now. Service was great when it was there but vanished for long periods leaving us waiting so long that at one point after waiting 15 minutes I was just about to go looking for someone so we could get our bill when the service finally turned up. My dessert was terrible (shortbread that was dry and dusty and seemed like something my kids would have brought back from cooking at nursery) but they took it straight off the bill, no questions asked so no complaints."

"We had booked a table for 6.15pm for 5 adults but had a catalogue of errors! With an establishment like this you would expect a decent menu but no, we got a menu on a sheet of paper, we even asked if this was the only menu to be told that was the only menu! You would get this type of menu in a high street cafe, very limited choice. Firstly we had lipstick on a wine glass, then the lemonade had a strange taste to be told when we complained that they had an issue with the lemonade (so why serve it? The pepper condiment had liquid come out of it when we tried to add to the soup, when complained, the rest of the party had finished their starters, when the manager came over to clear the table we had to say that one of the party hadnt been given her starter, the replacement soup! After asking the staff twice when our main course would be served, it arrived at 7.55pm! The first 2 meals were brought out but by the time the other 3 were brought out, the first 2 were half way through theirs. For an establishment like this to have such bad service is unbelievable. This was our first visit but will definitely not be back. Very dissappointed indeed."

"While the food was hot and tasty, we debated on whether to risk waiting for dessert. Unfortunately, that decision was made for us as we were left unattended after the plates were cleared for the main course. No one came back to check if we wanted dessert, so we eventually had to flag someone down to ask for the bill instead. It's a shame because the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and the food was reasonably priced—especially the festive menu. Unfortunately, the service was poor enough that we decided to remove the service charge (a first for us), and we likely won't be returning anytime soon."

"I have been going to this restaurant for years for special occasions, and it has always been fantastic. However, on my last visit for a first date, things went completely wrong. We ordered two different steak meals, each with a different cooking style and sauce. When the meals arrived, they had the wrong sauces and were cooked incorrectly. I spoke to the manager about the issue, but it led to an awkward situation. I asked for the meals to be prepared correctly, but was told that mine would then be cold. Instead of replacing the meals, we ended up accepting what we were given. This disastrous experience ruined my first date and I ended up paying over £89 for it. It was definitely not a Marc Pierre moment. Since then, I have taken my business elsewhere. It's unfortunate, as I used to really enjoy this restaurant before this incident."

"We experienced disappointing service during our recent visit. Our table wasn’t cleared properly; we still had leftover fries on it while we were enjoying dessert. The service was also extremely slow, and we had to ask multiple times for water. We've dined at this restaurant many times over the years, including twice this month, but we've noticed a significant decline in service. The prices no longer seem justified given the experience. It's unfortunate because the restaurant offers great views, but we’ve decided not to return again."

"We had a dreadful meal on Wednesday before a gig at the Apollo. Asked about allergies and told them, however was then brought food with the allergen in twice. It is an unusual allergy, so gave them a bit of the benefit of the doubt, however service was painfully slow andncertain serving staff were pretty rude (including one staff member spilling water on my friend and not even apologising). My friend's main course then arrived cold, and we did not have time to wait for it to be remade. In fairness, the staff member who brought our bill was very apologetic and took all of the food off the bill, but that didn't make up for the terrible experience and my friend only having a starter in the end. We just wanted to have a decent meal with competent service, but that did not seem to be on the menu."
