"Most disappointed I’ve ever been from a takeaway food center, was over an hour and a half wait. The delivery driver said he knocked the door 3 times and called me. I’m sat in the living room adjacent to the door and my phone has been In front of me all night. Not one knock and not one phone call. Found out food was left on my door step after trying to call 5x. Once they answered and told me it had been delivered I opened the door and my food was there,Freezing cold.phoned the company and they handed me to the delivery driver who denied everyone and when I questioned him, hang up. I’d personally never give these people my money or time again absolutely disgraceful!! Order total was £15!!"

"I ate here for the first time for Sunday lunch I have to say, my meal was really lovely (sea bream with couscous). It's quite pricey but if it's really tasty, then I don't mind. We used to come here for drinks regularly on a Monday night to be entirely honest, we had very poor experience from quite a number of the staff, pretty rude bored, unfriendly attitude.....not all, there were two young ladies 1 young man, who were very good we told them so, because it was such a refreshing change. However, I have to say, the staff on Sunday were really nice friendly attentive (as it should be)..... hopefully this shows a general improvement that may well be reflected on Monday nights now (we don't ever go on a Monday night now though, as we switched venues). So, note to management, keep good service up there as a priority. Your food is really good but without great service, customers don't feel so inclined to come back... keep up the good work"

"Our first visit to this restaurant was fantastic. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. Although the service was a bit slow at times, the staff were very friendly. We stayed in room 6 and it was stunning, with extremely comfortable beds. The evening meal was just as delicious as lunch. It's disappointing to hear that the restaurant is closing down, as we would have definitely visited again."

"We find this a few years ago and it’s got to be the best burger I have ever had. It’s definitely the most expensive one I have ever had so it should be good for the price, and it is . Washed down with the Harrods 1849 lager ???? very nice. My daughter had the creme brûlée Oreo milk shake and it’s amazing ???? The service is great and the staff are friendly and helpful 5 stars . We eat there a few weeks ago there was 5 of us and we all loved it and said definitely the best burger so when we were in London today that was our first on the list for lunch today and can’t wait till our next visit to London . 10out of 10"

"We had a really nice meal with friends and the food was lovely. My only critisism would be that at £7.50, the prawn cocktail starter was overpriced. The prawns and lettuce were very fresh but there was no bread with it as you would expect so it was quite a small portion for the money considering you can get a main meal for £10-12. It was quite busy but the staff was attentive and they were quick with both the food and drink orders. My main meal wasn't bought out with the others and I had to ask if they could check where it was as the other 3 had started eating their meals. It arrived a few minutes later. Overall a good experience and we would definitely go back again."

"Seated by a very unhappy Dominika, Food was basic and left under the heaters for far too long! Lucky if you get the right order. There is evidently toxic staff problems within this restauraunt, The staff toxicity shows to the customers and needs resolving. The only one member of staff who smiled during our whole visit was scowled at by the manager. If there are staff concerns behind the scenes this should be dealt with accordingly and hidden from customers. Theres no warm welcoming feeling from this restaruant. Sadly the reviews posted previously match this and Nandos have an automated response. Will not return and would not reccomend this place at all unless you want the experience of the Karen Restaraunts advertised. Needs an overhaul."

"I went to Byron with 4 of my work colleagues on their 25p burger special opening offer day. The queue was down the street as you would imagine, but it moved quickly and we were in and seated in no time. We were in one of the big booth seats by the window (which are perfect for people watching) The staff were friendly and super knowledgeable which was great as I ask a lot of questions. So I'm vegetarian and am so pleased that here they have separate fryers for their chips and courgette chips than their meat products (I'm amazed at how this still happens elsewhere) They were also clued up with veggie friendly cheeses and don't use Parmesan in their veggie dishes (it's not veggie) The open kitchen is a nice touch, I like seeing how the kitchen works. My Portobello mushroom burger with goats cheese, red peppers and spinach was super tasty, as we're the courgette chips. I very much enjoyed my lunch and would come back here again. I find it a little strange when you buy your burger then the chips are extra, I'd rather it was standard and you upgraded to sweet potato chips or courgette chips if you wanted to. Nice industrial decor. Worth a visit"

"We visited the restaurant late on a Friday night after a few drinks. I had my usual regular donner kebab with salad and chili sauce, while someone else ordered a chicken kebab. Everything was great and we all enjoyed our meals. The service was quick since it wasn't very busy at first, but it did get crowded later on. Despite the wait, I would definitely come back."

"Just down to the London Road (Brighton)...I visited this place with friend who has been telling me about this place for quite long and we decided to go here for lunch; after that first lunch it has been our one a week for lunch place. This place is nice...spacious seating arrangement is good; tables are big so we can go with larger groups...ambiance of the place is one of their kind. I find menu of the restaurant quite simple... categorised in meat i.e. Beef Chicken Veggie. They are famous for their buffalo sauce and onion rings…sides menu is also good…also has shakes and floaters...section called part timers is also looks good Place is also famous for its triple chili challenge...ill try definitely next time I visit and we’ll let you know. So as per recommendation I ordered BUFFALO CHICKEN BURGER which is chicken burger covered in house made hot pepper sauce, lettuce, red onions, blue cheese sauce. We also ordered Buffalo wings and Onion Rings and cheese fries (Not Chips…they are French fries). You can ask the server for recommendations they are really good and they know their menu well so ask for help if you are confused. They also have some lunch offer like choice of Burger Bottom less Soda for 10 quid. I also tried burgers from veggies menu, but I dint liked the veggie options much (my personal opinion and taste you may like it). "We had a very good Sunday lunch here: vegan mezze with tasty homemade baba ganoush and hummus (and cheeze), followed by tofu curry and tomato cheezy gnocchi. My only peeve was that the curry was served in a separate bowl to the dish of rice a bit fiddly as there was no spoon. There were even puds that weren’t sorbet *gasp*. Chocolate torte and affogato with coconut ice cream. Food was clearly made with care and thought. The pub is also close to two beauty spots, which are great for walking: St Martha’s Hill and Newlands Corner."

"We have eaten at the Sloop a few times. Today the food was good but they no longer offer sweet potato fries as an extra which is a shame. They also used to do pigs in blankets which were delicious but alas no more. The burger meal was great as were the sausages. My seafood platter was OK. The scallops were well cooked but not drained so a lot of wet. They also used very basic white baguettes which let the dish down. I much prefer brown bread with prawns etc. Also the side salad was a little basic. Overall, the meal was enjoyable but those little details were missing."

"what is most consistent in this place is that eating is always great. However, I have to take a sign at this opportunity, as the service was a little chaotic. it felt like they might have been a couple of employees. we were. on Saturday, so we expected it to be busy. but wait mins to arrive for our drink (it seemed only one person who works tirelessly behind the bar). then, when the food arrived, we had to get someone the attention to bring the kitchen roll and some forks. the table behind us had problems with some of their foods not arrived and were asked if they wanted to take a burger away. it is a shame, really, otherwise this place would be constantly shouting after gabriella (I hope this is right), which seemed to realize that it was a touch-chaotic. would return alone for eating, but Sat service could definitely be improved."

"Went here last night (a Friday at with my boyfriend for dinner. Been a few times before and really enjoyed it but this trip was such a let down. The food is good although not everything on the menu is as nice as the rest. Have always had the beach body burger from the veggie options but tried boozy bean burger for a change and it didn't have much flavour just loads of spice. The cheese fries are amazing though and the cocktails are good. Staff are nice enough too. What really let it down was the fact that they turned the music up at and it was so loud it felt more like a club than a burger bar. We couldn't hold a conversation, could only mess about on our phones. Doesn't fit with the type of place it is but would make more sense if they waited till food isn't being served anymore. Either that or scrap the food at the weekends and just be a loud bar with mad decor."

"We ordered two breakfasts, but one was incorrect upon arrival. Despite this, we were willing to accept both, but unfortunately one was dropped on the floor. Only one breakfast was given to us, without any apology or acknowledgment of the missing one. After a few minutes, the waitress returned to ask for our egg preferences for the second breakfast and apologized for the mishap. It then took about 30 minutes for the second breakfast to be served. The waitress did apologize again during this time and even offered us a cake for the inconvenience. However, after waiting an additional 30 minutes since the first breakfast arrived, we had to leave as we had other commitments for the day. When we inquired about a refund, the second breakfast was finally ready, but due to the timing, it had to be packed in a takeaway box. Despite this, we found that the three front-of-house waitresses were all pleasant and polite."
