"After living in the area for a while, I had a meal here by chance. I am back regularly once a week now. The staff is amazing, the food delicious and they make you feel like you are visiting a family. I can see that most people visiting are repeated customers and that is the best praise they can get. One of the best chowders in Dublin. Lamb shank with perfect mash peas. The burger you will love. Pizzas with a perfect base. My favourite lasagna. Bruschetta that is served as a starter but can be a meal on its own. Bread baked in-house, that reminds me of one my mother made. Steak made to your order with a side of vegetables that is always cooked perfectly. I tried most of the menu (lamb shank is my choice on most visits) and love it all. "

"This was the best meal I've had in years! The slow-cooked beef in tomato sauce served with penne pasta was exceptional. I made sure to soak up every last bit with the garlic bread. "had an absolutely beautiful meal here tonight. the restaurant is beautiful, the service of the staff was amazing. the food was first great. However, the owner manager let down the whole evening by asking us to go because one of our party was apparently “ drunk ”. this was after we bottle of moët champagner to buy happy to take our money, then because of the table next to us, the clearly drunk house wine complains after we have ordered each time we have another bottle. we were not drunk, we ate well, we had a nice evening, but it would seem that the restaurant would like to serve them champagner, then they take the opinion of the table next to us. Many thanks for a wonderful meal and compliments to the chef and thank them for their attentive waiting staff. pity about the owner is sad that he only thought it necessary to say something after we had spent our money"

"visits with a buy a gift voucher, which allows us to make two three meals from a set menu. we waited 5 minutes or so on a Sunday night when there were no more than 10 people in the restaurant. we also needed a gluten-free version of the set menu, which meant that we had to use the website to crossmatch what was included in the set menu to see what was gf. we had to order via the website. we asked a server about ordering gluten free and they had no idea how we should do that. the food was excellent and the portions were generous for a set menu. the main issue came with the bill. we presented the voucher and we were then notified to the voucher only a set menu. not what the credit card said and we were asked to pay the rest. the server came back a few times to ask us to pay and then talked to a colleague. they have worked out that the order by the website, coupled with the gluten free options not considered, it was a set menu order. it would have been better if the personal used the old-fashioned ordering method that tends to work better. especially in the nutritional requirements. it was solved, but we were made to feel like we were wrong. my advice would be if they have a good license, ask to order personally to avoid frustration. the food was excellent."

"We popped in without a booking on a Sunday night after a long drive and were met with such fantastic service. Our waiter Blair was soo friendly, made some great recommendations and made us laugh a lot! The frito misto was a great starter, huge fresh bits of fresh and a delicious garlic and parsley sauce. We also ordered the asparagus with pancetta which was so nicely done with another great sauce. The fresh pasta dishes were phenomenal! Between our table we ordered the slow cooked beef and tuscan sausage ragu which had so much tender meat and a delicious rich sauce, the rigatoni sinatra (crumbled italian sausages with loads of roasted peppers and chilli in a tomato sauce) and the fettuccine pollo piccante which was my favourite. This was spicy chicken in a creamy parmesan sauce with a right kick of chilli! For a complete accidental find we had such a great meal and would definitely come back if we were travelling down to Glasgow from the Highlands again!"

"Me and my partner stayed here for her 30th birthday for a nice night away in the executive suite. The hotel is absolutely lovely, the whole place was very posh and Modern. The room was outstanding. Lovely and warm, the heating system was great and it was spotless and clean. The spa facilities were fantastic, great pool area and sauna and Jacuzzi. The food and drink in the bar and grill was lovely, one of the nicest meals we've had. The breakfast was lovely too the following morning. The staff were very accommodating and we had everything catered for. Would like to thank Anish and heywood spa for great evening. "Personally my experience was excellent (5 I had emailed ahead of time to ask if it was possible to cater for my intolerances due to MCAS Histamine intolerance! Having this makes it very hard to ever eat out, so I just don’t, but them miss out on socials. Because the food is fresh and everything made from scratch it was possible. The chef read through the info I sent and came up with some delicious suggestions. I am grateful to the whole team for their efforts and have a fabulous meal! So thank you! Lovely decor, clean facilities friendly staff, service great my review (5 I came with a party of 11, it did take a while to get our food but appreciate they were busy and there was an error with the bill even after their 3rd calculation, we paid a prior deposit and the menu sent out a few days before had old prices, they did offer to give a 10% discount but the bill ended up being more for some reason..this was all taking a long time and it was getting late, we ended up just splitting it anyway as easier rather than paying ours separately despite not everyone having same foods, drinks We all highly rate the food and service, just the calculation of the bill brought the review down."

"A great restaurant in the centre of Betws-y-coed. There is parking next to the restaurant, which is cheaper than parking at the church next door. We ate outside in the sunshine on the vast terrace. You can order your food via a qr code on the table I'd rather speak to a person) or you can go inside and order from the lovely staff behind the bar. I had hunter's chicken with crispy fries, a small salad and a creamy coleslaw. My friend had a pizza which looked delicious and my other friend had gammon, egg, pineapple and fries. All washed down with a cold glass of pinot. There are heaters above the tables when the temperature is a bit cooler. Lovely venue. Lovely staff. Lovely food. "Bella Italia was fully booked, so we came across this wonderful family run Italian restaurant. Several Italian customers came and went, which told volumes as the authenticity of the place. Starters came out quickly and wolfed down by our party, and although we had to wait a little while for our mains, every dish was full of flavour, and the homemade pasta was full of body and taste. When we come back to Blackpool, we will definitely call in again."
