"We booked this 3 months in advance and asked specifically for a window seat. When we arrived, we were seated at the table furthest away from any window.. near to the toilets and the function room! We could just see other customers, we were probably the only people with no view. As groups left, 4 tables near to or by the window became free. So we asked politely to order food and also to move to ANY CLOSER TABLE so we could see anything that resembled a view.. we were told everyone wants a window seat though . These 2 of the 4 were tables left empty for the duration of our booking and the worst bit, was new groups arrived and were seated in the others by the window in front of our eyes. There was obvious discrimination going on here. The only reasons we could fathom as to why they would do this and be so rude are: We were 3 females all other tables had a male in the group and/or they were being racist as one of our friends is Asian. We were so disappointed as this was meant to be a birthday treat and it was ruined by the staff and their lack of accommodation. Also we were beautifully dressed and some customers arrived in jeans and trainers like they 'd just walked in off the streets? Dress code? The Sky Lark in New York was absolutely amazing and this place needs to take a leaf out of their book. Overall would never recommend and we won 't be returning."

"I went here with a party of 6 people for my birthday dinner, and i can thoroughly say i was not impressed. Our server, a young lady was giving attitude and genuinely seemed like she did not want to be there, the music in the venue was way too loud to the point where i could barely hear the waitress nor the person sat opposite me at the table. After being seated at 8.30 our starters and drinks came relatively quickly however we then waited around an hour for our food to be served, at this point we had complained and its only after that did food magically start coming out of the kitchen. We also noticed that other groups had been seated after us and got their food way before we did.... The food in itself was very mediocre, the seafood linguini was very oily and under seasoned and the cod and chips was bland and seemed over fried. The drinks were average nothing extraordinary. When we received the bill we decided not to pay the service charge which is optional. We spoke to management who admitted that there was a mess up in the kitchen so our orders were not input properly. I guess nobody including our moody waitress bothered to check in until after we had complained. I am also surprised that nobody bothered to communicate this information to us? its only after we spoke to management that they admitted their mistake. After we had spoken to management about poor service, they offered to reduce our bill by £50 which we thought was a good resolution however after leaving we noticed that we didn't actually get £50 off the bill, we only got £25 off as they had taken £50 off from the total bill which included a service charge fee of £25, this was very misleading off the staff to say, as they should have removed both the service charge of £25 and then given us the £50 off on top of that. Avoid this place, there are way nicer Brasseries in Central London."

"I've slept on this review because this is someone's business and their hard work is important. What was ok good was the starters and the appearance of the restaurant, clearly alot of work went into place. The main thing was service. Sat down just after 17.30 and things were extremely slow. Staff not attentive and at points rude. Had to ask for glasses to be removed as table was getting cramped with dead glasses. Had to ask for more drinks. Had to ask for plates to be removed. Never been in a restaurant where they deliver drinks one by one, dinner one by one, from the point of the 1st meal arriving on the table there was 8 10mins long minutes until the last meal arrived singularly with gaps.... table of 8. Quality of food was poor, cheese burger a stable of a USA themed place was cold, extremely compacted and cold and minus the cheese. Sent back arrived with 2 ice cold slices of cheese stuck on the top. Lamb shank thing was dry, tasted very salty and for the price extremely underwhelming. Chicken on the chicken and ribs was overcook dry and blackened. Ribs were quite nice. Some ingredients seemed cheap..... and for the price point it should not seem cheap. To be fair the curry was very nice and maybe we caught the place on a bad day. I did speak to the owner who apologised but not really accepting of any negative comment. A three plus hour visit which felt drawn out and overall unimpressed."

"I’m extremely saddened to write this review of the white horse. Its a place I use to love visiting, however it has been slowly changing and totally losing what it is. To start with the service was NOT good at all, I think we were on the invisible table. We were the first Table to arrive and yet the last to receive any drinks or food, people who arrived minutes after us had a starter and main course before us. I wouldn’t have minded but we had ordered very simple meals and it was t in the least bit busy. Our drinks took over minutes to arrive and the lady behind the bar was quite rude when we went to find out how much longer we would wait.Half of the main meals eventually arrived over an hour later, with the other main meals taking a further minutes to arrive. The price of the food is VERY expensive for essentially a simple burger and a pot of fries. We were not the only table to discuss this. I think they have put the prices up in light of the government off a meal which to me is totally wrong. There is no way I would visit this PUB again for the over priced food. Had we been paying full price for the meal I would have honestly refused to pay the service was so bad And the value for money just is not there. We were not able to get reservations at any other local restaurant so was surprised when this was available. Now I know why! I appreciate that pubs are still finding their feet with the new restrictions but having just returned from a week away every single restaurant We visited put The White horse to shame. There was no real cleaning going on, we were expected to clean our own table with a roll of blue paper and a spray kept out side the toilets! Lovely! According the the rude blonde bar maid anyway To top it off I spent the rest of my night and morning very unwell being and being violently sick. Such a shame"

"edgware road £5.10 amstel marylebone has an excellent choice to visit pubs, this elegant backstreet pub is worth a look. marylebone has some of the busiest roads in london, the a40, a41 and a5 all through this part of london. the noise, the hectic and the general feeling, how hectic it is, may be enough to give them the urge to get away from him all. now, if they find themselves in such a situation and smiling out a atemberaubung or simply looking for a pub to get away from everything, the @lordwargrave is the destination for them. I visited here on a Saturday afternoon and received a warm welcome from the American staff behind the bar. the pub was not overly busy with some regular in, one of which had a beautiful British bulldog who drew attention. the atmosphere here was relaxed, the majority of the hunters were in the dining department at the far end of the pub and tucked in the American style smokehouse menu. the interieur furnished here is a long bar with the dining room near an open kitchen with open brickwork and some industrial chic touchses. there is a stylish feeling about the place, but this alcohol is not pretentious, this is a pub for all people and occasions. The Lord wargrave is a striking pub that offers inviting experience in a beautiful environment. this is a pub that has a graceful feeling and offers a lush American fayre from the in-house smoker. this is a place that they can celebrate in a big group, or how I quadruple a lazy Saturday afternoon a beer and have a little time to reflect, either away the lord wargrave is worth paying a visit. informations correct to visit 15/01/22"
