Food was tasty but had to send mine back as it was cold. Second time was lovely but my fellow diners had finished! Wasn’t charged tho! Thank you! Service was very very slow!

The restaurant used to be bustling with customers, but when we visited, there were only a few people in the bar and just us and four others at another table in the restaurant. The food was delicious and served hot, and the waitress was friendly.

This is a useful and usually satisfactory nearby option. The only problem was finding things on the menu thsa were gluten free. The waitress tried very hard to sort things out, but it slightly dimished the occasion which was our first meal out after the lockdown. View menu

Lovely place good food and friendly service. People before us were late finishing so they rearranged bookings to fit us in. Food good quality and definitely didn’t come away hungry. In the current climate it would have been nice to have a entrance indicated where you didn’t have to go through the throng of barflys, it was there but not highlighted. Would definitely go again

My parents and I had a meal here Boxing Day Evening. It was a very good value 4 couse set menu with a nice variety of choices across all courses. The food was beautifully cooked with good sized portions. Our waitresses and front of house staff were very friendly. It was no trouble for my mum's dietary needs as a coeliac to be catered for from the set menu. We did not feel rushed in any way and the atmosphere was very nice. We all came out saying we would certainly eat here again. Highly recommend to anybody wanting quality food at a reasonable price in a lovely environment.

We waited nearly an hour for our drinks (a bottle of wine and two cocktails) which arrived after our starters. The tiger prawns in chilli were pleasant but lacked heat, and the olives had a off-putting smell. The main dish consisted mainly of salmon, which was good, but most of the potatoes were rotten and soggy. It was a disappointing plate of just fish with a tasteless accompaniment smeared on the plate. For £40 per person, I had hoped for better quality food for our Christmas gathering. Arrived early to be greeted by a very helpful gentleman. Escorted to our table which was in a delightful position with a view of the green. Our waitress was attentive and she never stopped all night. Food was excellent, no long wait in between courses. My husband had the chipotle chicken to start which he loved. I had the prawn and salmon starter which on the face of it did look small but the dish was packed with prawns and smoked salmon with a crab creme fraiche. We both had steak for main which were delicious. We shared a sticky toffee pudding which was amazing. Drank great Malbec. A really enjoyable evening and we would definitely recommend and will be eating here again. Thank you

beautiful summer evening so started with a few drinks on their terrace, b/h wanted a pink gin unfortunately only tastefully pink gins to wear so that was a no no no I left for a pint of asahi. 3 small slices of brie with beautiful apricot and ginger cutney, thumb for the garnels. mains margarita pizza lighter and dirty burger. they did not know that the pizza with salat came to accompany so ordered little by the side, so had in the grunde 2 salate, our fault for not to notice, but would have been nice if server had pointed it out at the time of ordering. We had a lovely summer evening at this restaurant and started with a couple of drinks on their terrace. My companion wanted a pink gin, but unfortunately they only had flavored pink gins, so she had to settle for something else. I opted for a pint of Asahi. For our starters, we had breaded Brie and prawns with chilli feta. The Brie came in three small slices with a delicious apricot and ginger chutney, while the prawns were a hit. For our mains, we ordered a Margarita pizza and a Dirty burger. We didn't realize that the pizza came with a salad, so we ended up with two salads in total.
