Great staff, drinks and food. Myself and partner enjoyed our time here.we will definitely be visiting again soon.

Jay and Lizzie took care of us during our family meal. The food was excellent and the service very considered. They even accommodated our wish to have candles in the desserts to celebrate our occasion. A lovely experience.

My wife and I dined on a (wet) Tuesday evening; even so, the restaurant was quite busy. The food was very good, as was the ambience. We were served by Will who was excellent, although he could have done with more help as he was very busy. We will certainly go again. View menu

Nice, quiet atmosphere. Nice, smart decor. The Valentines menu had a great choice. Started with complimentary bubbly. Shared starter tasty. Unfortunately, one main was over done and dry accompanied by linguine in a watery tomato sauce. But this was corrected quickly and replaced with now problem. Second main was great. Staff were welcoming and professional and adjusted the bill to reflect the mistake.

Well 8 of use went four dinner well was quick to take a order 35 mins to get mains then 20 mins to remove plates then 30 mins plus for puddings trouble is someone order a coffee and small pud coffee came then waited 25 mins for the pudding for it then waited nearly 50 mins to pay the bill and then the bill turns up and you have the nerve to add on 15 percent service charge bit cheeky when you charge a fortune for food

Starter lack of bread with cheese.Long delay before main meal ,it was hardly warm more cold and was not freshly cooked it had been cooked at least hour before roast potatoes terrible ,we had almost finished the wine at very slow pace before meal turned up.Wine list very limited and expensive ,house red extremly poor wine I used to work in wine trade and I would not serve this wine. The food at this restaurant is exceptional and enjoyed by my mother, sister, and myself. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with views of the cricket ground or Southborough. Despite changing ownership over the years, the quality has always been consistently good or excellent. I have visited occasionally and have been impressed with their excellent vegan options, even if not listed on the menu. They now offer a wonderful vegan menu with new dishes. Both my non-vegan mother and sister were pleased with their meals as well. The decor has been updated and is now less pretentious.

This pub offers a separate menu for vegans with a variety of options for each course. During our visit last week to sample the menu, we found the food to be excellent. The vegan menu is available upon request, as it is not automatically provided to all customers. The vegan dishes appeared to be freshly prepared on-site rather than bought pre-made, which was a positive point. We visited on a Friday night and were able to secure a table without a reservation, although online booking is an option. While we did not have any starters, there were a number of choices available. There were 5 people In our group for lunch, 2 vegans, 2 veggies and an omni. 4 of us actually ordered from the vegan menu and 1 ordered a vegetarian dish. My main issue was that 2 of us (myself being vegan and the omni in the group! ordered the flat bread from the vegan menu it didn’t advertise coming with chips but when we ordered our waiter asked us which chips we would prefer so we both asked for sweet potato fries. When the fries came out they had cheese on them (despite us clearly ordering from the separate vegan menu .
