"My son and girlfriend always rave about this restaurant in Islington. And at last we were able to join them. Quite frankly it doesn't get any better than this. Great traditional Italian food, served by highly efficient and friendly staff, and pleasant surprise when the bill came too, such great value for money. "I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"We are not adventurous eaters and our waitress was very pleasant and patient with us explaining what was in the dishes, how they were cooked etc. We sat in a booth, nice and private so we could have a conversation. An appetizer was brought out for us to nibble on, flatbread, dip and carrot and celery sticks, while waiting for our food which came in a timely manner. We both chose avocado and prawns as a starter, followed by two different lamb dishes, both came piping hot and nicely presented. The portions are large! It was my wife's birthday and the staff placed a lit candle in her piece of cheesecake and sang Happy Birthday, what a lovely touch."

"When we arrived punctually, we were greeted in a very friendly manner with the words "RESERVATION?" Equipped with the OpenTable reservation confirmation, I made it clear that I have made reservations for people in my name. After a quick glance at her rancid notebook, the waitress wanted to end the conversation with the words "No, sorry." After I again held the confirmation in front of her nose, came another sorry, you could not do anything before she fled to the cane. Then a gentleman accompanied us to the door. On New Year's Eve, finding a restaurant with people in a crowded city was simply impossible, and so, on behalf of people, I would like to thank the Bistro Grad Hometown restaurant for a failed start to the year"

"We waited 1 hour for our drinks. 2 hours for our meal. This was my 25th birthday dinner and we were served after 2 hours and were then rushed to eat within half an hour since the restaurants close at 11. We had to take away our steak and drink in foil. We were rushed to cook and eat our steak. We didn’t get any desert to the fact we had no time left to eat and we were waiting to have desert at the restaurant for my birthday. We paid just under £170 and the service was absolutely awful. 2 and a half hours booking should be enough time to enjoy your meal. At no point did anyone apologise for the wait. If I knew this is the experience we would get I would never have booked this for my birthday. Me and my siblings were so disappointed. Spending £170 I should not have had to take my steak home in foil, my drink home in foil after waiting an hour for the first round and not even get a chance to have desert. What a disappointing experience, this was the worst part of the day."

"I received a telephone call 30 minutes before my booking to state that as a new menu was in operation I could not have my allergen needs met. I asked if food was prepared freshly which it was and instead of a cheese and ham croque monsiuer i required only ham. Unfortunately the young man in charge of customer service was unable to seek guidance about how to meet my allergen requirement. As this was short notice I would therefore have to pay for the full afternoon tea menu even though I could not eat items on it. This lacked flexibility and also seemed unfair. I called back after a few moments to say that I would rather cancel my booking and was left to seek an alternative place at such short notice."

"Had a lovely overnight stay and a meal here yesterday! The decor is LOVELY, gives a great warm feeling. Plenty of drinks on offer! The staff are so lovely and welcoming! "This was my third time going to Passo but first time dining inside the restaurant and the vibe/atmosphere was friendly and relaxing, and nicely decorated. I originally had the booking for the week before but I came down with the flu and the staff were incredibly understanding on the day and moved my booking for the week after. The service was great and quick we got a starter to share between the 4 of us so we could try the dish, so the server added an extra piece on the dish so we could all have one. The dish did not disappoint definitely order the Mac Cheese balls! The food is reasonably priced for where the restaurant is situated (just outside Old Street station), and good portion sizes! I love a hearty and filling pasta dish and it did not disappoint 3 of us went for the seafood linguine (so flavoursome). In the Summer, I went here for a bottomless brunch in the terrace and it was a fun/lively atmosphere with bottomless negroni and pasta! Great spot for date nights or dinner with friends/family!"

I came with 9 other friends at 23 o'clock this evening with prepaid tickets. the bouncer at the door required ids, although most people in the waitsnake did not show their ids and bouncer did not get on the board. I was compliant, and I showed my ID to her colleagues. he said I should be more polite next time. "A few days in Cheltenham found us visiting The Daffodil restaurant which had previously been highly recommended to us. The Daffodil is set down a side street just off Montpellier Gardens and away from the hustle and bustle of the main area and it proved we were quite fortunate to get a booking given the popularity of this place. A very smart venue with an ‘Art Deco’ feel which certainly makes this restaurant feel quite different to many other places we have dined at of late. An excellent menu and first class service makes this a place that anyone visiting Cheltenham must pay a visit. Without doubt, we would certainly head back to The Daffodil should we return to the Town. Don’t miss out."

"Antalya was close to our London hotel in Russell Square so we decided to try it: it was a wonderful meal in a very pretty place with excellent food and friendly service. The full dinner provides an excellent selection of hot and cold starters. Everything was very fresh and the portions were large. The baklava, served warm, was the best we’ve ever had. "First When we came inside the door the smell almost made me turn around and go out again. Not What I was expecting. The sign says ”Fine Japanese Dining” Hmm, not What I call fine. The place looked a bit shabby. Okay there was people sitting and eating and we thought Well give it a try, now when We are here. The ordering procedure with an app was akward so we skipped that. The kind waitress helped us instead and gave us fast service. Service was good. We ordered a 40pc sushi platter and a meat main dish. The main came before the sushis. Food was ok not more so we concentrated on drinks instead. 4pax food, drinks a snap at 140£. I am used to at least Triple that amount on a 4pax dinner. We left and had coffe, dessert etc at another place in town. Again you get What you pay for and conclusion this was good Bang for the buck."

"Menu half the size of what it used to be and service very slow. Due to the lack of options on the menu we had to ask for the menu from the lounge to cover some dietary requirements on our table. I'm pleased to say that this was no issue, but we didn't like having to ask to do this. A menu should be varied enough to please everyone. Also disappointed to find that there were only tables occupied whilst we were there and yet when we phoned to book we were limited to time slots due to availability! A table of arrived just after us who had booked and yet the staff didn't seem to have any reference of their booking. Sad to say that what was once my favourite restaurant in Westhill, I'm not sure that I will go back."
