"I received a telephone call 30 minutes before my booking to state that as a new menu was in operation I could not have my allergen needs met. I asked if food was prepared freshly which it was and instead of a cheese and ham croque monsiuer i required only ham. Unfortunately the young man in charge of customer service was unable to seek guidance about how to meet my allergen requirement. As this was short notice I would therefore have to pay for the full afternoon tea menu even though I could not eat items on it. This lacked flexibility and also seemed unfair. I called back after a few moments to say that I would rather cancel my booking and was left to seek an alternative place at such short notice."

The food could have been warmer. The chicken schnitzel was overcooked, to brown and disguised by cheese. The fries were good and hot. View menu

Oh god, the duck. THAT DUCK. Sticky asian glaze (descriptive or what?!) on sharply dressed veggie slaw with gloriously purple potatoes (think of the shade

Me and my boyfriend were in Glasgow for the Christmas Market yesterday and we thought to try this brasserie. The food was really good, we had bruschetta, chicken and duck breast. We were easily accommodated as we didn't have a booking. I recommend to try this place.

The food here was fantastic. We had thought we ordered something simple given the menu and its decent prices but was blown away when the food arrived. This place manages to take some classic dishes and adds some real elegance to them. Most importantly, it all tasted amazing Service was superb. The staff were super friendly and attentive. They managed to get our food to us with relatively little wait when we noticed we were running late for our cinema showing across the street. Thanks again LBA BTW, the calamari was top notch.

Was here on for a pre theater meal with my mother . French onion soup was delicious rich and slightly sweet and very filling. I had the sea bass and it was to die for beautifully crispy skin all over and perfectly flaky tender flesh inside the cheddar mash and leek and sweetcorn sauce were the perfect accompaniment to the fish. My mother had the beef bourguignon and it was beautifully rich and tender and such silky smooth mash alongside . Excellent service such polite and attentive staff and a very enjoyable ambiance . Will definitely need to find an excuse to visit again
