"Had a lovely overnight stay and a meal here yesterday! The decor is LOVELY, gives a great warm feeling. Plenty of drinks on offer! The staff are so lovely and welcoming! I wouldn’t hesitate bringing my 3 kids in here!! The rooms are lovely and cosy. I could have stayed all day the food we had was lovely. The Filipino pork was perfect! 100% recommend the Shepherd we will defo be returning! Thankyou for having us!! ????"

Booked a table. No issues and was greeted by freindly staff and shown to our table.. Met the chef which was nice. Food tasted amazing cannot fault it came piping hot and tasted fresh.. Will be going again. Highly recommended

We returned for another fantastic meal at this restaurant. We booked last minute (an hour before arriving) and were fortunate to snag the last available table. The food was delicious as usual. We pre booked our table and was greeted on arrival by lovely staff and shown to our table. The service we received was excellent and the food was fantastic and very well presented. The staff were fantastic with our two girls too which was lovely. I would highly recommend here and we will definitely be going back again soon xxx

Turned up for our pre arranged booking to find the place completely shut up we were locked out with nowhere to stay. Passing locals confirmed that you have not re opened since lockdown restrictions were eased. I know Covid has caused issues but if you are not legitimately trading (insolvent maybe? , *don't* mark your rooms as available on booking.com!
