"I accidentally discovered this restaurant last night and was pleasantly surprised by the fabulous food. After living in Turkey for many years, I can confidently say that this is the most authentic Turkish cuisine I have found in this country. The service was quick and efficient, and the quality of the food was excellent, with reasonable prices. The complimentary baklava and Turkish delight at the end of the meal was a nice touch. Thank you for a wonderful experience that added to a fantastic evening."

"This is a high profile outdoor restaurant on the Thames in Richmond, the kind of pace you walk past but rarely visit. There are some indoor tables too. The booking and service are very good. The food is based on Argentinian steak cuts; the choice is good and the quality is very good but the prices really are crazy. £40 for a sirloin and it goes up from there. We shared a starter. Sides were ok, nothing special. House red wine/glass 175ml is over £10 and a carafe of house white is £30! Finally bill for three over £250."

"Family meal for 3 Adults and two teenagers on a busy Friday night. Had not visited the Ox for about two years. Considerable amount of development since then. Menu catered well for two 'picky teenagers ' and three more adventurous adults, all agreed that it was the best meal out they had had for a long while. Prices are not cheap but the standard and menu choice was well up to the prices charged."

"That was so delicious! The food was truly flavorful, with mouthwatering dishes. Paired with a bottle of Israeli wine, it made for a perfect meal. I would definitely recommend it!"

"Great food and fast service. We did wait longer then usual to be asked if we wanted any drinks when we sat down, but it wasn't long enough to think we had been forgotten. For a Sunday nyt there was a good atmosphere with a steady flow of diners. Both pizzas we had were very tasty and quick to be served. Please continue to support this resturants Daventry."

"The RHG Hotel is stunning and in a great location. However we had to wait nearly an hour for our food. The restaurant was very understaffed. We had to go to the front of house to get our coffee. At this point we had been in the restaurant for two hours and had had only one course. To compensate for this we were given our coffee free but we would rather have had it in good time. In the end we were overcharged for a side we neither ordered nor had delivered. On the whole very disappointing. The staff did their best but there were not enough of them."

"We are in Clitheroe for a week and settled on the Swan and Royal because their menu seem reasonably priced from outside. I had the Sirloin steak for approximately £18 and my partner had the lamb shank which was similarly priced. It was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Beautiful cuts of meat, piping hot chips and home made Peppercorn sauce. I usually only leave reviews when I'm unhappy, but the meal here was outstanding! Friendly staff too. A+"

"To be honest I am not a fan of going out for a steak as far too often I come away disappointed. When my daughter chose FdA to celebrate her birthday on Tuesday I can't say that I was looking forward to it given there were 5 fussy eaters and I was picking up the tab. I am delighted to say that from start to finish the evening was perfect. Great food, cooked exactly as requested together with friendly professional service. Just how all restaurants should be. Something I have noticed is that you typically have a better experience when a restaurant is less busy. This may sound obvious, and if so why do we gravitate around Friday and Saturday? 12 months later and we were back again. Another very good meal although the service was not as attentive as I would have liked. The service was also rather slow, it took around 90 mins from entering until eating."

"my wife and I had booked an early dinner after I had been sitting on the promenade to work on our appetites. we ate in a small room with capacity for only 10 diners on 5 tables. we jumped on appetizers and my wife went for the special prawns alla busara. we had previously reported the restaurant when booking that my wife was allergic to paprika. we have told our server again, who checked with the kitchen to ask if the dish should be prepared without a pfeffer. that was confirmed. when their meal was delivered, there were evidence for the outgoing vegetables. the apologetic server took the court back to the kitchen and the cook told her that he had added pfeffer to the court. (When I checked, I thought it tasted more like a red chili.) another dish came remarkably fast. Even without paprika, we both felt that the dish was unnecessary spicy and was distracted by the abundant seafood it contained. I was very happy with my lame. although it was rather small, it was delicate and tasteful. we received free desserts to try for the main course fiasco. my wife had a cream brûlée with sorbet. I had served a chocolate mousse with a caramelized banana and passion fruit. I also had a Sorbet flag. it was a living yellow, although I couldn't recognize its taste. this restaurant is a popular and well-respected eating. we felt quite underwhelmed because of our experience."

"I have to say that this restaurant is my favorite place in Farnham! However, tonight after they brought out a small fire from a customer leaving a napkin on a candle that the staff did not notice, we received no thanks for saving their restaurant. The service and food were amazing as always, but when I used the restroom (which I had never done there before), I was shocked by the condition of it. I will return to the restaurant because I will not let one bad experience deter me, but Cotes, please pay attention to your toilets and your tables that can catch fire!"

"This was my second visit, and I was once again impressed. The freshly prepared food offers great value, and the friendly service from the waitress made the experience even better. I couldn't find anything to criticize. The grill items, salads, hummus, and delicious fresh bread were all wonderful. We definitely plan to return!"

"Everything about this restaurant was great from start to finish. Has soon as we arrived at the restaurant even though our table was booked for 7pm we were seated straight away. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy for a Saturday night but that wasn't a problem as it felt like we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The waiter service was excellent you wasn't waiting a long time for your food and drinks but obviously if the restaurant was quite busy then it may have been different. We ordered our drinks to begin with the cocktails are nice. Then we ordered our starters and the mains all at the same time. Not one of us was disappointed at all, the food was great. The potato skins were really nice and the chicken wings. When the main course came the same again really nice food. I had the ribeye steak with potato wedges and peppercorn sauce. The steak was quite a reasonable size and the peppercorn sauce was really tasty with a bit of a kick to it. The food portions for both the starters and the mains were really good. I couldn't eat all of my main as it was quite filling. So overall I would recommend this restaurant you won't be disappointed. The service is great not one thing I could moan about. The food isn't expensive the prices are very reasonable. My advice would be to book a table just in case. The restaurant wasn't busy when we went but you don't want to just turn up and be disappointed if the restaurant is packed as you will miss out on some fantastic food. We will definitely return at some point for some more great food."

"I visited the restaurant two weeks ago and had a great experience. I have no complaints at all. The food was outstanding, and the service was also excellent. It might not be obvious from the outside, but the restaurant is located within a hotel. My wife and I enjoyed some of the best satay we've ever had. I highly recommend it for Malaysian cuisine, though do keep in mind that it can be a bit pricey."

"We ordered appetizers, the Butch Block Ribs for our main course, and a bottle of wine. Everything was fantastic. The portions were generous and the meal was delicious and served hot. The food here is always good. The service, however, can be hit or miss. Keaton provided great service on this occasion. He was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. We started with our appetizers and drinks outside before moving inside for the main course. Based on this experience, we will definitely be back in the next few weeks."

"My friends and I had booked a big table to share breakfast together on the morning of Pride in Lancaster. When we started towards our table, we were told that dogs weren’t allowed in the “restaurant” which is the room adjoining the bar and no fancier than the bar where dogs are allowed. I responded with surprise as Lancaster is an incredibly dog friendly city. The server simply confirmed her previous statement and walked off. She didn’t offer to find us a nice seat somewhere else, she wasn’t apologetic, that was that. When we complained, someone else offered to move us to the garden but it felt impossible with such a big group so we had to leave. The silver lining is that we’re now having breakfast somewhere that is actually dog friendly and LGBTQ+ friendly but we missed out on spending this time with our friends on a special day. Our dogs are well used to going to cafes and pubs and are very well behaved. As a queer couple, our dogs are our family. If we’d gone in with 3 screaming babies we would have been welcomed. But they rejected our queer family with no explanation. There are much nicer places to eat and drink in Lancaster and much fancier ones too (if that’s your thing) who will happily welcome me and my dogs. I won’t be going back to the Borough."

"Food was fab, we came here for lunch and it was so nice we booked for the following evening. Staff are all a bit pushy to upsell food and drink which became a bit tiresome. Our waiter was very friendly until we paid. We split the bill which didn’t include a tip and paid individually. His friendly manner disappeared. It reappeared once he returned to the table to see the 15% cash tip we left which we always do to make sure the staff receive it."

"A simple but yet fantastic gastro pub The rose and crown is located in the centre of ulverston. The staff. Polite, helpful and friendly they contribute to a very warming atmosphere and engage well with the locals and tourists The food. I had the king prawn starter with chilli and garlic. Great portion, extremely tasty and great value for the price. My only problem was that I couldn’t get enough of it. My main was the panko chicken burger, the chicken was moist the panko batter was perfect, it came with skin on fries and onion rings which accompanied it perfectly (I declined the slaw and veg). The venue The Rose Crown is what a small town pub should be quiet and unassuming from the outside with a very quaint look to friendly and full of atmosphere on the inside. I can understand why the locals enjoy it Overall I will definitely be coming back and wouldn’t just recommend it to friends but I will be suggesting a visit next time I am here with friends."

"This is our usual venue for celebrations both because its local and because usually its a well priced great food but based on my experience last night I wont be going back for a while. A number of things went wrong, and any one on its own would have just been put down as bad fortune, but all together suggests that the owners of Derby Arms are trying to offer a fine dining experience but not backing it up. 1) I booked online and mentioned the booking was for my wife 's birthday, and at no point was this mentioned. In its self this wasn 't an issue as she never likes the attention of it, but it does suggest that nobody paid attention to the note made under special requests and dietary issues so does suggest that if I 'd made a dietary comment it may also have been ignored here 2) They brought out the wrong starter, firstly the server seemed to be expecting me to accept what he brought out, and then returned to the kitchen to get what had been ordered which did arrive very soon after. The lady who took our order came to apologise and blamed the kitchen, but given the same item was on our bill it was clearly her error. 3) The waiting staff were very pleasant but not very attentive. This was highlighted best when the server arrived with our main course and our starter plates had not been taken away. A bit of juggling later (thankfully there was a spare table nearby) all was sorted 4) When you order a £30 steak you 'd expect decent meat, served well Not on a wooden block with chips in a cup (very pub styly) 5) Both steak meals had things missing, my wife had no chips and I was missing the extra onion rings ordered. Once highlighted they arrived in good time When you 're paying £75 a head for a pub meal you really expect many of these mistakes not to be made and there is every chance we were just unlucky."

"The service at this restaurant was absolutely brilliant. The starter of battered calamari was perfect, and the bread was fresh, soft, and delicious. The main course surpassed the starter with its explosion of flavor, perfect cooking, and lovely peppercorn sauce. The restaurant was clean and organized, with enough space for our group of 12 to comfortably sit at a long table. I look forward to returning when I'm in Worcester again. Thank you for hosting us!
