"Great place. Don't be put off by the basic appearance of this place, it really is all about the food at Asia Style which serves a combination of Chinese and Malaysian food The place has a great atmosphere and is pretty much always busy, so expect to wait for a table, but it's a short wait. Fast service from the staff who will plonk a big pot of green tea down on your table and keep it topped up, and the food comes out fast too and is excellent. The Nasi Lemak is still the best I have tried outside of Malaysia, and other dishes like the soft shell crab are delicious. Watch out as some of the dishes can be very spicy, but the staff are friendly and keen to help so do ask their advice...read more"

"THIS PLACE IS AMAZING AND UNDERRATED! I used to go here for bubble tea and spicy Sichuan fried chicken (before COVID). I went in to order the same as usual, and was disappointed when I discovered that they changed their menu. HOWEVER! Out of curiosity, I tried their salt pepper crab. The portion was very generous for £14, and it was mind blowingly amazing! Definitely a good value. It was very fragrant and had the right amount of saltiness. When I passed by some people on the way back home, they commented on how fragrant it is! Honestly, I am so mind blown I have tried a lot of salt pepper before, and it can be deceptively hard to get the right balance. This nails everything down! Can't wait to try out the other menu that they have! Definitely, definitely recommend. The lady on the counter was also very nice, even though there's a language barrier!"

"Amazing !! I Always ask for no veg and they always make it with no veg : today it was boiling hot, Only disappointing thing was I paid over £60 and because I ordered online I didn’t get any free stuff, like a Bottle of coke or spring Rolls which is really unfair"

"Picked the restaurant as we'd been shopping nearby and looked like a local place to try. After looking at the menu we opted for the buffet menu. We walked into the empty restaurant and were sat next to the bar. From where i was sat...there was at least ikea candles that had seen better days dumped on the bar and bottles of cleaner within easy reach which wasn't something should be on show inches away from a customer or potential child. After ordering a few starters and a round of drinks which were clearly from the soda bottle, the starters arrived on a small platter plate. The smoked chicken was very sweet and quite dry I was concerned that I'd break a tooth! The satay prawn was ok but the chicken tasted slimy so I immediately spat it out. The seaweed tasted greasy. My biggest bugbear was the #waiter took our orders still in his coat!! Mongolia lamb was dried out and the occupying sauce was salty and overbearing taste of star anise... this was swapped and I was asked if I wanted a different sauce so suggested plum and was told that they didn't do it? So I used the sweet sour sauce instead.. I then wanted to cut our losses and go but my husband wanted to give them the benefit of doubt and even then they don't give you a fresh plate for mains whereas I was worried that the meal would repeat on me so I just ordered jasmine tea. During the wait I went to the toilet up the very narrow and sloping staircase and got to the landing dimly lit by what I can only describe as some kind of lurid uv light which possibly wouldn't have looked out of place in a brothel!! The toilet cubicle you definitely couldn't swing a rat in, let alone a cat in. I finished washing my hands and went towards the hand drier to be met by a dodgy string curtain and at least bottles of toilet cleaner just strewn on the floor with a plunger and other undesirable objects on the floor."

"First visit since new owners and lockdown over and wasn't impressed, went in with an open mind but the drinks where hot and they seemed shocked when we asked for ice for my wine, you should not have to put ice in bottled beer too,...they looked at us as if we where from outerspace when we stated the drinks where warm, who wants warm drinks with food?there is definitely a communication barrier, we had mussels to start and prawn and chive dim sum, mussels where like rubber, in my opinion frozen the dim sum was lovely then fillet of beef Chinese style and salt and chilli scallops for the main both these dishes where absolutely delicious cooked to perfection but no one asked us if the food was good or if we enjoyed our meal, good food but the staff and the drinks let this place down for me will not be returning not a good vibe or ambience"
