"Wow, this place is a hidden gem in the heart of Camden and definitely worth a visit. When you first arrive, you may think Anmee could use a bit more decoration with its simple bench seating and whitewashed walls, but don't let that deter you. The menu offers a variety of pho, bún, noodle salad dishes, California rolls, and sides at very affordable prices for being in central London. During my visit, I ordered the roasted duck bún and some prawn California rolls, which were prepared quickly by the chef and served beautifully by the attentive staff. The California rolls were a delight with their vibrant colors and fresh ingredients. The duck dish was equally delicious, with subtle hints of sweet, sour, spicy, and crispy flavors that made for a satisfying meal. They also provided sriracha and hoisin sauce at each table, along with a generous amount of crunchy chiffonade. If you find yourself in Camden, be sure to stop by Anmee near the railway station for a memorable dining experience. You won't be disappointed."

"I’m very sad to be writing this review to be truthful. We have been a few times before Covid lockdown for the lunch menu which was excellent and really good value in our opinion. We decided to give them a try for dinner and try...and support a local business rather than a big chain. We didn’t check it they were doing the eat out to help out and they weren’t which was a surprise but we did eat there knowing this in advance. The staff and restaurant were fully Covid compliant, but as there was only us and one other couple in there, it wasn’t a big concern. The restaurant which is normally buzzing lacked any atmosphere. The food was mediocre to poor and definitely overpriced. We both had a soup to start, and both felt that they were under seasoned two different soups). They weren’t unpleasant just bland and uninspired. For mains we ordered dishes a roast duck dish and a prawn and chilli dish my partner also asked for a side of pak Choi and was charged yes for some steamed pak Choi). The duck was in a nice sauce but it was very salty- and the skin/ batter was soft- not crispy like normal. My partners prawns were nicely cooked but he said the use seasoning made it taste like eating prawns in potpourri. The pak Choi was fine, but definitely not worth the money. We also had a boiled rice and a fried rice, a Diet Coke and a lemonade. Our total bill was over We did comment that it was much more expensive than we had expected and that the food hadn’t been as good as normal but the staff weren’t really bothered- just in a rush to get us out as we were by this point the only people in there at We did pay and leave but we wouldn’t ever go back for an evening meal and to be honest would probably now try somewhere else even for the lunch deal because we’re a bit disheartened by the whole experience ."

"I never write a review as I always address face to face give you the opportunity to make good, but...One of the most vile tasting Chinese takeaways I have ordered. We had chicken satay which was a thick gelatinous bland tasteless sauce in my book not chicken satay at all , the crispy beef was again in a thick gelatinous vinergrey sauce the beef was tough and soggy as so much sauce and the Yung chow mein again bland and very cheap cuts of meat which reminded me of spam. I called them say I was unimpressed spoke to the owner who apologised and basically told me they have many happy customers and never had complaint about their food as they have always had same chef and cooked like this for years. If this was a restaurant I would have not eaten it and refused to pay. This was a Saturday night treat I will never make mistake again and in future avoid the China orchid in cullompton not that they cared anyway."

"The food was OK but the service was shocking. We were stared at throughout our meal like we were being watched and yet still had to ask for more water or sauce even though they could see we 'd run out. Because of the poor service we covered the bill and a little more and when the waiter realised we weren 't going to cover the £11 discretionary tip he said we weren 't paying enough to which we explained it 's discretionary but also we were actually tipping some and he started to insult us and say we weren 't welcome back again. I 've never known anything like it. Plenty of options for Chinese food in China Town so just avoid this one!"

"I’ve been to Daquise with Italian friends as per usual, but this time it was for my birthday. I put my birthday present next to me under the table in a little bag and in the general mess it was stolen. When I realized it, I told the owner and we were the last ones left in the whole place, they had just finished cleaning and the staff hurried out of the place without saying anything. Unfortunately it is almost certain that it was one of the staff while cleaning as it was under the table and had a necklace inside, there were few customers besides us and there was always someone at the table, except the one time we were outside to say goodbye and leave, and the staff was cleaning. No customer would go around looking underneath the tables anyway, and grabbing a random plastic bag, especially as they are having dinner in south kensington. Besides us there were very few people, especially while we are all there. Unfortunately they don’t even have internal cameras, which means anything could happen in that place but they take no responsibility whatsoever. In all this the manager Ted was of a unique arrogance. He denied everything by refusing to cooperate and laughing at me. When I called him to ask if he had any news, he started screaming at me to overlap my voice, saying he did not care and hung up halfway through the phone call and told me not to come any more as this doesn’t change anything for him. Saying that they have no cameras and that the woman we suspect of is working there with her mother and sister, so if anything making it all even less credible on their part and easy to deny. All this to say it was an absurd and frustrating experience, especially given the emotional value of the gift. completely unreliable staff and the manager, Ted, of an immeasurable arrogance.<br br"

"we do not order very often. a few times a year. as we are in emsworth, we would decide for new porcellan, but that was a special tasty bite. we have ordered from the peking palast. only to find it was closed. So I did. a search dictated and aroma was highly recommended. we thought let's get this off. we ordered one of everyone we all like. all right, all right. Five stars. later in the evening, my stepfather birthday and the day we buried him on his 40th birthday. we realized it was a Friday. he remembers that he would stick to his sacrificial speech. we nailed the address, low and see the aroma, although name changed. is the same place where he has collected his chinese, every Friday. but the food and the delivery were before place. will definitely be ordered again."

"I was in the nuudle bar a few times and I have ordered from them several times sincerely, this is probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in bournemouth. if I should describe it, remember when they order a Chinese takeaway, except the ingredients are fresh, really delicious and leaves a great impression. they can tell the employees here, proud of their work and it is reflected in the presentation and taste. I would recommend the chicken katsu Chinese curry with damped rice. absolutely delicious. will be back for more!"

"We are a group of Singaporean visitors, scourging the land for Asian food after a week of burgers, fries, fish and chips and steaks. Oh boy, were we satisfied. Imagine cold winds blowing at you while you run from your car to the restaurant. You...are freezing and the traffic light refuses to turn. You enter the restaurant, hungry, cold and angry. You feel a warm blast of air and a familiar waft of fried rice and noodles. You smile, you found home. Back to the review, big portions of food. most dishes are priced at we had people, we order dishes and a medium portion of rice. It was more than enough. Beef with broccoli was our favorite dish. We came back the next day for lunch. They have a cheaper lunch menu, serving rice and noodles of different variety. I had the roast duck noodles which was mmmhmmm. Recommend to go for Asian tourists who missed home-cooked food."

"location rather difficult to find the parking place, apparently it is part of the premier inn parking. the parking fee is really appropriate. £3 for 2 hours. the restaurant menu was great with many possibilities. eating was good with not much fat and taste was average. price is reasonable. only what I could choose was ambiente of the restaurant, and the staff could be a bit more attentive to earn the 10% tips that were imposed. the personal we have was less than about eating and knowing the restaurant menu. better service staff to switch with customers, this restaurant will be a 5-star rating. after I gave a 4-star review, went back two weeks later, got by much better staff and was very helpful and friendly. it really shows that they care so that I change my star rating to 5 stars."

"The restaurant building appears clean, well-organized, and spacious at first glance. However, the prices are high and the drink prices are exorbitant. We ordered two Pepsi drinks from the bar, which cost 6 pounds each. Surprisingly, the drinks tasted like soda water. The waitress explained that it was due to the bottom of the case and offered to change them if they were still unsatisfactory. Despite the replacement, the drinks remained bland. Unfortunately, the waitress did not return after we expressed our dissatisfaction. The food portions were generous, but some dishes were lukewarm and others were dry and solid, likely due to our early booking at 5:00 pm. Many of the dishes were overly salty and lacked adequate seasoning. Overall, the experience at Bournemouth Days restaurant was disappointing, especially considering the expensive 48-pound meal. I do not plan on returning in the future."

"After booking a table, we had looked online and was hoping to utilise the early bird menu. However, we were left disappointed. After being shown to our table on a quiet Tuesday night the waitress then disappeared. After leaving us for ten minutes she reappeared,...we asked to order from the early bird menu but was told it was past seven o'clock. Looking at my watch it was now I made a point that we had been left on our own for ten minutes with no sign of a waitress so we should still be able to order from the early bird menu. I was told that there is no way to select bird menu on the till after seven. We ordered and the food was generally good, though the experience left us disappointed as we felt that we were forced to choose from the ala carte menu. As a result, I would be reluctant to visit here again instead of the other two local Thai restaurants."

"Don't normally write reviews, but given the price of this place I feel compelled to. Booked for Sunday lunch as have had many great times here in the past, and don't mind paying a high price if the whole experience reflects this. Unfortunately, today's experience failed to meet with previous experience. Firstly, the table we were allocated should not be offered to anyone as it is extremely close to the adjoining table, meaning you have to disturb fellow diners in order to squeeze (literally) into your seat. Whilst the pork dish was fairly decent, the lamb arrived cooked vary rare. This was not advertised as such, otherwise I would have asked for it to be cooked to my liking when order was taken. Having said that, I immediately informed the server that I would like the lamb to be cooked more, which she obliged, and returned with the lamb slightly more cooked. Both meals were covered in a gravy which was very overpowering in taste (salty, thin and not very nice). This would have been better served in a separate pouring dish, which we discussed with the server on payment. He server admitted that the gravy is quite strong, mqybe she could have said this when we ordered, so we could have had the option for it to be served separately. Roast potatoes were overcooked, and were very difficult to cut they were so hard. The bill was incorrect in that the cheese board (which was delicious) was not included. We did inform them of this and a correct bill was delivered. In hindsight, we should have informed staff that our table was not fit for purpose but I hope they kindly take this under consideration now for future diners. All in all, I feel this was an overpriced dining experience for what we got. Sadly, I wont be rushing back anytime soon."

"The last time we went they forgot our order of 2 dishes ..... we were waiting and waiting and then had to ask at the counter ...... they had forgotten ..... no apology and then the food came hastily put together ...... which looked and...tasted like hot water had been quickly poured over the noodles to make the seafood soup! Another problem is (and it is a odd one really) the portions of the rice and noodle dishes are just too too enormous that almost every customer leaves a load on their plate ...... what a waste ...... cut the price of the food and the portion size ..... that would be a good idea however I think we have got the Campus out of our system now and will be heading to Mr Chilli down the road."

"It was the sight of the beautifully cooked bronzed flat ducks lined up on the window that attracted us despite smarter Chinese restaurants nearby. Inside the place has a warm comfortable atmosphere like an old Aunts front room with piles of chairs stacked in the corners and boxes lying around so its not the decor you go for. Indeed the covered chairs that you sit on are not forgiving in anyway. But a look around at the other clientele, mostly Chinese, say this is a knowledgeable bunch and the trade the take-away section was doing was impressive. Not being experts of this cuisine we went safe and ordered duck of course which was shredded at the table a good sign), crispy beef, egg fried rice and a slightly disappointing rather dry chicken satay though the sauce was good- but of course this is Thai food so maybe this is not a speciality of the place. I like the attitude of the waiters who treat you quite rightly as equals rather than the subservience of other places. Any way glad we visited."

"I had the rice with Sichuan tofu, stir-fried pak choy, and warm lemon tea. The Sichuan tofu was delicious with its thick, hot gravy. Both dishes reminded me of the food from my home country, Malaysia, and how similar they tasted. The warm lemon tea was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and sourness. The bill came to pounds and the portions were generous enough to serve two people. As a student, I was able to pack up the leftovers for another meal in the aluminum foil container. Just make sure to bring your own bag as they only provide plastic ones. The waitress was friendly and accommodating, even providing me with password-secured WiFi when I expressed concerns about using the public network. The restaurant had a cozy ambiance with natural sunlight streaming in through the windows and warm yellow lighting. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience."

"I'm not a local, check my other reviews, and to be honest I've no idea why this place is rated high.....the worst Chinese I've had in the UK fact!! Price....very very expensive... £11.10 for a special curry? that's about £4 over normal price!! Portion size terrible..... Not 1 chip cooked properly, near raw and hard. Curry full of oil as on swimming in oil... Beef...2 skinny pieces Chicken...3 skinny piece's King prawn 3 pieces. NEVER EVER AGAIN WOULD I GO NEAR THIS PLACE!"

"We had to visit here on Saturday as my local was too busy to take orders. Felt it was a little over priced for what you get in comparison. more than my local within Skegness for the same order. Gave them an hour for...the collection and order still wasn't ready when arrived and had to wait a further minutes, despite her saying it would be minutes maximum. We spent and didn't get prawn crackers and the chow mein was just over half full and tasted full of pepper. Woman behind the counter was nice taking our order. I would return here, but it wouldn't be my go-to Chinese. If you can visit Skegness, there are some better and cheaper ones. Still however, not a bad Chinese for the more locals to burgh le marsh."

"Strange mini chain this with branches In Kensington High Street, Chiswick, Ealing, Bloomsbury and this one in the Upper Richmond Road, Putney. This is a large open plan barn of a place serving with a few exceptions the same range of pan-Asian food as its other locations majoring on sushi but also running g the whole gamut of noodle, rice and ramen staples. Chicken kari-age, Japanese style-nuggets with salad made for a solid starter whilst three panko covered prawns were exceptional. Mains of salmon and rice, chicken ramen and Malaysian style laksa soup were our choice of mains although Chinese style duck rice would have done just as well. Only downside was the building felt slightly tatty, the tables might have been better cleaned and the menus overused."
