"Our visit didn’t start out so well as we struggled to find the entrance! Some better signage would be good, especially as the doors aren’t marked and look more like a goods entrance! We were seated right opposite one set of doors and since they were automated we were blasted with cold air for a while each time someone came in or left. We thought it wasn’t worth asking to move since it was busy and now where better to put us, and that things would settle once the lunch covers were all in, but then people started cutting through to use the restaurant as a short cut to get into the hotel! This just spoiled the ambience for us as we were cold and ended up watching the door. The staff were however lovely and the food and drinks great. I realised afterwards that my main was listed on the menu (in its title) as having walnuts with it, but I didn’t get any with my dish so that was a shame (I’d have mentioned if I’d realised at the time). The Jerusalem artichoke soup, ricotta and truffle ravioli, and olive oil martini were our highlights, and we’d recommend."

"Very disappointing experience. We decided to have the set menu and both chose the minute steak. We ordered one medium/rare one well done. When they arrived neither was well done and both were very tough and chewy. They looked more like rump steaks then minute steaks. When the waiter asked if we had enjoyed the meal we said we were disappointed with the steaks and asked him to ask the chef what he thought to the portions we left and perhaps comment. After this the waiter just ignored us and we had to ask another waitress to serve us our desserts. When paying we repeated our disatisfication to the cashier and were offered a refund of the price of the vegetables but no real apology. I cannot say we are enthused about having to pay extra for chips and vegetables especially on a set menu. It seems strange that the set menu only includes the 'meat ' and nothing else (apart from 6 cherry tomatoes on a vine! Both the starters and the desserts were fine but the main course let it down. This is the first time we have visited a MPW restaurant and following this experience would not seek to return to either this or another venue. We had hoped that this would be a 'special evening ' however we were left feeling very disappointed. As others have commented perhaps MPW needs to pay a visit to stir things up!"

"We found the restaurant easily and were greeted by the waitress taken to our table, which was a nice cosy table, asked if we wanted any drinks which we had a wine and a pint of their beer. We selected what we wanted to eat, and we served very efficiently. The shepherds pie was delicious. My wife had the vegetarian cheese and leek pie which she said, was very nice. The starters I had pigs head croquettes. My wife had the selection that for catcher bread, we both enjoyed our meal immensely. "

"Although in St Pancras Station this place is tucked away and slightly set back (by Boots and M+S), so was much quieter than I thought it would be. The atmosphere is quite relaxed and the service very attentive and efficient. We were asked several times if everything was ok, and the staff were all very pleasant and smiling. The goats cheese, fig and red onion pizza was crisp, a bit different, but great tasting. A starter of beetroot and red onion was simple but delicious. The wine selection by the glass is good value, as were the meals. An interesting find that I would certainly go back to."

"Disappointing. We've eaten at Bumpkin (Westfield Stratford) previously. It's one of the few places there at which there is a pleasant atmosphere, a comfortable environment, and where the background noise is low enough to allow conversation at normal speech level. The food is unexceptional, but usually good. We were not in any hurry, but on this occasion the service was very slow and, if I thought it likely to be as poor as it was, I would be disinclined to return. I also thought that the cost of our meal was high in relation to the quality."

"What a lovely evening in a great setting. Beautiful food, excellent choice of wine and relaxed dining experience. The staff were very attentive, we were brought water straight away and both our drink and food orders were taken as soon as we were ready. I had the feta arancini to start followed by the fish cakes and topped off with a chocolate delice, it was all delicious. The portions were great value for money and we were both suitably full. Thank you for your hospitality, we will be back soon!"

"I have dined here previously but I was told the menu had been changed and I found the choice quite limited. The pumpkin soup was excellent. My friend and I had the sea bass which was served with a crust of cheese that did not complement the fish. The sauce was much too sweet (maybe honey) and I did not finish my meal. A generous amount of vegetables accompanied the meal and had I known I would not have ordered a side order of mixed vegetables (it would be helpful if the waiter pointed this out). The carrots were to hard to cut but the peas were nice. Although this venue is extremely convenient for the theatre I am unsure whether I would return."

"We booked breakfast via this website and turned up on time. We were ignored initially by staff and when we did speak to them, they seemed flabbergasted that we were expecting breakfast and had to check with the chef that he would continue with breakfast (even though people were being served still). They didn’t seem to know they took online bookings. This is fine, things happen, but the staff were very rude about it and we were made to feel uncomfortable. Clearly, the chef was unhappy as the other diners (I assume guests) said we had caused trouble, which added to our unease. One of the waitresses did not speak one word to us the entire time and the other waitress was clearly annoyed when taking our order. When the bill came, it had a service charge included to boot! This is probably our worst dining experience and we will not be coming again, which is a shame as we’re locals."

"a small group of us has decided to be halla posh and go to bluebird. unfortunately no mic is, but this has not distracted from our wonderful experience. the decor is very trendy, with a knot of industrial-chish elements...exposed iron beams hanging on the deck, aiming windows with glassy/mirror card-like things (clearly describe modern art is not my forte,) much natural/sexy light (that if it is dark out of its more shaded) and comfortable couches and long table plates are expensive but the drinks. the bartenders live their call. to be fair, my drink was quite basic. g"

"this place surpassed my expectations. first, it is a beautiful room. dog-friendly also. we ate from the a la carte menu (picture.) I had to start the soft bowl collar and the oktopus as main. I have rarely seen softly peeled crab on a menu in Britain, when I have seen it has been bad, so I have ordered more in the hope than expected. it was great. crispy, sweet and juicy. the accompanying green salad was a great guide. the main octopus court was incredibly tender, according to my opinion, they should not interfere with the king Prawn-Squid, as it distracts from the sheer quality of the cooking taste of the oktopus. we shared a dessert of almond-Marmalade cake with mandelbiscuits eis. I'm not a big dessert fan as I don't have a sweet tooth, but that was good. I would have chosen a cheeseboard of local yorkshire lancashire cheese if that had been an option. I just moved into this one, I'm gonna eat again."

"the place is nice and the food was good, but the service was bad. the waitress has neither exhausted nor sought to speak, explained to men and brought false commands, and no attention to allegiance, as we have said to her. "POP Sapori @themegaro, a Love Festival from the '80s? At first difficult to find, but I did my homework and noticed it is a POP Up at the iconic graffiti covered Megaro Hotel. Great window display, packed with homemade focaccia and Italian croissants. The focaccia Pugliese was to die for and Julian really knew his flour. I never realised such a small thing makes all the difference. Then the Rigatoni al Torchio was just super fresh and cooked just dense. Oxtail stew was best I ever had, but admittingly by then, we had consumed a bottle of Prosecco. Didn 't dare to go for the spritz, just looked too cool and yellow for us. Now I get the music, smileys everywhere, it makes you happy. It brought us both back to 80 's King 's Cross when it was just masses of fun and party. POP Sapori you make me happy? Definitely, get that house music pumping. Best of luck guys, you deserve to be packed."

"Il Tetto is a fun place to have a post-Christmas shopping meal it is located at the top of Selfridges but it has its heart in a festive ski cabin. Unfortunately the food doesn't quite live up to the surroundings I suspect you are paying more for the location than the food itself. On the night of our visit, the pizzas and pastas weren't available which meant that only the most expensive options were available. I'm sure that this was due to no fault of theirs but mentioning this to diners prior to seating them might have been a courtesy (I had to ask our waitress why the majority of the menu wasn't available). Also another bugbear: mixed drinks orders will automatically be served as a double (it'd be nice to be asked before being charged above the going rate for a G&T)."

"The restaurant provided quick service and delicious food. Despite arriving early, they were able to accommodate us without any issues. It was reasonably quiet as we had requested, as we were dining with a sensitive child. However, some of the young waiters and waitresses were a bit loud at times. They did not have peppermint tea available. The location is very convenient for those attending the Festival Theatre."

"Stampa in Mayfair is a great place to go for a quick bite, it's a bit odd that it's only open past on Wednesdays and Thursdays, as I'd love to see what the atmosphere would be like on a Friday or Saturday night. The food was really tasty, but I feel like something was missing generally. I loved the prices, and my cacio de pepe was delicious! I would recommend going to Stampa, and I will be going back"

"Very disappointed we returned to the fork after visting it on valentine's day. I had the see bass which was delicious my partner had the Kofte well it was very bland with 2 dryed up pitta breads dumped on a bed of salad which was very dry no seasoning no salad dressing."
