"had never visited this chain, but it was eager to try something. had not booked, but came midday and were sitting fast, and informed we could pay about the QR code on the table (very helpful).) decided to order a set meal to try how...has never visited before something I would recommend to anyone who first visit to try as it allows them to experience a series of things. the food came out when it was ready in stadien that was good, all hot and tasty. some dishes that we were more enthusiastic than others, but that was just our own personal taste. pork pibil I thought I would love, but was not a favorit, (to Smokey/Leder tasting for my palette,) shattered fish tacos delicious, like the bohnen feta tostadas. both of our favorites but (and a BIG surprise for us) was the sweet kartoffel feta taquito. simply beautiful, crispy, tasteful. will be reordered if we visit safely. we were warned, our side order of habanero mais on the cob was spicy, but to my taste it was not and had had a bit more of a kick. we have gloomy that we had with churros (natural) and a “Mexicon Mass” (the version of an eton mess). we were slightly uncertain that the ‘Hibiscus’ meringue was possibly too flowery, but it wasn’t such a beautiful desert. Great eating, nice helpful staff and we had luck getting a table from a Saturday afternoon as it soon became very busy with a nice mixed amount, a nice atmosphere produced for lunch. very happy customers."

"Grateful the host got us a booth in a quiet corner, the service was fairly quick and our waitress was really kind, my white wine was a little lukewarm, my burger temperature was on the cold side but manageable. Asked for sauce from the waiter who delivered the mains, he seemed like he literally couldn’t care less and didn’t ask what we wanted (only ketchup) and ran off saying he would find someone else. Staff seemed pushed who were serving but not sure if it was senior staff or managers but they were tidying away candles and table decorations before 7:30pm when still in service and a busy restaurant. The website when you book makes a fuss about what you are celebrating reason for visit, which I highlighted this from the options and literally no one mentioned anything about why we were celebrating, no small touch on the dessert or anything like I’ve experienced in other restaurants who didn’t have this information readily available. Just not sure why it asks, it makes you expect something to happen and then feel disappointed when nothing did happen. (our waitress did say congrats after a short conversation so I cannot fault her) also the menus online don’t reflect what’s on offer in the restaurant. It’s not very clear and a little underwhelming, I think the website is misleading as you select that exact location and it shows all menus on offer. "We often come here for Sunday carvery which is very good so thought we would try an evening meal for my Mum's birthday. I am afraid the overall service let down the whole experience. When we arrived, instead of being taken to our table by the waitress, she just pointed and said you are at that table over there. After being to a busy bar area to get our drinks we found out that the 2 waitress standing around did not take orders so we had to go back to the busy bar again and wait to give our food orders. When the food came it was very good, especially my seafood platter. Everyone thought the food was good except for my Mum who had gone for one of the specials. It was so poor especially for being a special. She had one tiny piece of fish with no sauce, 4-5 very small new potato's, a few carrots and a few bits of broccoli. All the veg was hard and there was not enough to satisfy even a person with the smallest appetite. We told the waitress about the hard veg but she just said oh right and there was no apology. When we spoke to the chap at the bar and said why don't the waitress take the orders he said he liked people to come to the bar so the staff could meet them. We all felt this was a lame reason and probably did not trust the teenage waitresses to take the orders. It is a real shame as the place is lovely and the food generally is pretty good but is missing a professional touch. We said we would not return for an evening meal but just stick to the Sunday Carvery."
