"Once in a while my wife and I crave a full English . The circumstances have to be right. We have to be hungry and we have to be on a journey or a shopping trip early in the day. So on this day, very recently, my wife and I drove to Gloucester having deliberately missed breakfast we don 't bother anyway most of the time). We knew where we were going because we check Tripadviser for possible locations. We 'd already seen the reviews for the Trojan Cafe so we said OK let 's check it out. The first favourable impression is that the place is kept very clean and that the decor is uncluttered. I noticed some framed pictures of Turkish holiday locations so I 'm guessing the staff may come from Turkey. My wife ordered a basic all day and I ordered the full all day . We had two mugs of tea and much to my surprise the tea tasted good. I 'm the tea expert at home so I know a good cup when I taste one. We didn 't wait long before the food arrived and I was in for a shock when I got my plate. My reaction was Good God when I saw the amount that was on my large plate. This amused the man who brought it. The plate was full and it was all there and it was piping hot. I won 't list the contents of my all day breakfast other than to say all the elements were there in abundance and excellently cooked. I finished the lot except a couple of slices of toast. Had I thought about it I could have asked for some marmalade and I would have finished the remaining toast off as well. Anyway I was full. I realized I wouldn 't need any other food for the rest of the day. And so it proved. One bit of advice I 'd give to the pleasant staff at this cafe is to research the black pudding a bit more. As a Northerner I 've sampled black puddings before they are not all the same. The black pudding served at the Trojan was a little bland. They can be better and probably a little more expensive. Go for the less fatty type drier and more flavoursome. Notwithstanding I ate the black pudding served up to me. My wife and I turned up in smart casual country clothes and we were surrounded by tradesmen wearing their working cloths streaked with paint and oil. I knew we were in the right place. I thought it was funny. We were all there for the good food and tradesmen know where to get the good stuff. So do the local pensioners who were also there. The prices were right. All in all a very pleasant dining experience but you have to be hungry to cope with the Trojan signature dish. My wife and I both returned empty plates. A couple of pieces of toast don 't count. We will return when we feel the need for a proper full English ."

"Place was practically empty on a Saturday afternoon so went in with my 2 daughters. Seated the 2 people before me and 2 people behind me but I was told that I needed to wait for tables to be cleared yet the place had about 20 customers in there max! Waited 10 minutes then I walked out. Waiter then come out calling me saying there was a table now ready in this empty restaurant. Absolute joke of a place. That with the silly prices like. No more than a glorified Wetherspoons. Never use tgi’s again Meal type: Lunch Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"I enjoyed my meal at this restaurant so much that I returned a few weeks later to have the same dish. Like with any chain, the service can vary day by day. The first time I dined here, they forgot a few small requests we had but overall the food was good. I ordered the vegan Mac and cheese with soya mince, and personally, I felt that it didn't need the mince as it would have been delicious without it. It would be nice to have the option to have this as a side dish. Some may find the portions to be small, but for me, it was filling enough. We also tried the garlic bread that is a staple on the menu all year round, and you can add vegan cheese to it. Additionally, I sampled the vegan hot dog and loaded fries. The menu also offers vegan milkshakes and dessert options. Overall, they have a decent selection for vegans, which is not common in every chain restaurant. The prices are average, but it's not a cheap dining option. Frankie and Benny's is a reliable choice for vegans, as there will always be something on the menu to suit their dietary needs."

"The food was good. The waitresses were nice and pleasant. The restaurant was clean and all was good until the bill. 10 of us had eaten the bill was just shy of £300 but then it was demanded that we pay a 10% surcharge, none of us had seen this anywhere if it was displayed. We agreed but it was the way it was put across, very rude. We asked to pay separately, to which we were told no, they could not do that even though they have a digital till. In the end we were provided with a bill and some pieces of paper pens, then told to work out what we each owed individually (NOT FORGETTING THE 10% SURCHARGE) I had explained that none of us would leave until they had taken all payments and that they the staff were satisfied. There was a male member of staff who from the minute we asked to pay individually just stood behind the counter with his arms folded growling at us with a look of disgust/ anger on his face. From the time we asked to pay to leaving there was only 1 other table of 4 or 5 customers in the whole place, so it was not as though they were put out because it was busy."

"During our visit to see family nearby, we were in search of a place to dine. After reading positive reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a chance and were glad we did. The staff greeted us warmly and were very friendly, going above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The food was outstanding, with my lamb cutlets being particularly delicious and cooked perfectly. The pork belly, sea bass, lasagne, and scampi ordered by others were equally impressive. Even our youngest member who ordered chips and peas was pleased with his meal. I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant, as you will not be disappointed!"

"I was really excited to win a fantastic prize from the Facebook competition; it took me a while to get it, but it was totally worth the wait! I ended up going a bit overboard and ordered almost everything on the menu, making sure to get plenty so that the rest of our group could enjoy it too. It was the best seafood we’ve ever had! Huge thanks to the restaurant for the delicious food and for sharing their amazing culinary ideas!"

"We had a late booking at 20:45 so there was only our table of 12 and then about 3 tables of 2 elsewhere around the restaurant. We ordered almost as soon as we got there yet the food never came out of the kitchen until nearly 22:00 and they never brought my burger with everybody else's food. When we asked about it they explained that the chef had made the wrong burger and had to start again so it was nearly 22:20 before I got mine and it wasn't exactly worth the wait considering everybody else had nearly finished. My little boy got tomato pasta, chips and broccoli; the pasta was dry and stuck together, the chips were anaemic and the broccoli was just one floret served in pot you would normally expect them to put a dipping sauce. Most of our group were indifferent to the food, the kids enjoyed their milkshakes but we had to forgo dessert as we were scared it would take yet another hour to arrive. Some of the staff were friendly, others could barely give us the time of day and when we complained about the wait for my burger they removed the cost from the bill which we appreciated however when we came to pay the bill, which we wanted to split 3 ways, the server told us that they can't split the bill and we would need to work out for ourselves how much each payment would be. I can't see any of us returning as there are other restaurants nearby should we need to eat in the area again. Parking: There was plenty of parking because we went later in the evening however in the day the retail park is very busy so you may struggle."

"Once again Rachael and her amazing team at The Bell, made our friends and family celebration an evening to remember. It was my niece's 40th birthday and we all had a fantastic day. Rachael was on the go the whole time making sure all the guests had everything they needed. Staff serving the drinks were friendly and efficient. We decided on a BBQ and the food just kept coming. The marquee in the garden is such a bonus as we used it for additional tables and chairs. We had about 120 guests in all. Thank you again to Rachael and her team. Gig"

"There are a wide variety of food options at this restaurant, all of which are very reasonably priced. The decor is beautiful and the seating is comfortable, although it can be a little cool at times. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean and the staff is welcoming. The only downside is that the location is a bit out of the way. Overall, this Chinese buffet is the best I've ever been to. The only thing that didn't quite fit was the pizza and pasta options, which felt unnecessary and out of place. Why add something that isn't needed when everything else is done so well?"

"**Dining Experience:** Dinner **Price Range per Person:** £30–£40 I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I highly recommend trying their Mozzarella Dippers with Marinara Sauce and Pesto Mayo. For those who love ribs, the BBQ Spare Ribs are a must-try. The Chargrilled Classic Burger is another standout dish that won't disappoint. For dessert, you can't go wrong with the Coconut Pie and the New York Cheesecake; both are delightful. If you're in the mood for something classic, the Classic American Hot Dog is also on the menu, and don't overlook the Fridays Sesame Chicken Strips served with House Fries. For those craving something sweet, the Brownie Obsession and Chocolate Fudge Cake are tempting choices. The menu also features options like the Fridays Double Glazed Burger, Fridays Vegan Burger, Hot Wings, Strawberry Jack Daniels Chicken Strips, Garlic Chicken, and the Cobb Salad. If you’re looking for a hearty meal, the Surf and Turf is a great option, and you can never go wrong with classic Chicken Wings. **Vegetarian Recommendation:** If you're a vegetarian, you'll be pleased to find a dedicated vegetarian menu, which I highly recommend. **Parking Situation:** There is plenty of parking available, with a free parking lot, making it convenient for diners. Overall, this restaurant offers a diverse menu that caters to a wide range of tastes, and the atmosphere is perfect for an enjoyable dinner out."

"The food and service at the Kaya in the Chalfont’s was ok and the staff were very friendly , but there were disappointments. We asked for tap water to take some tablets. It was like they hadn’t bothered to run the tap. Tasted warm but didn’t ask for ice. My soup was cold in parts so had to stir it. The duck pancakes split, so made eating them was incredibly messy. They were not busy, but we will restrict our visits to lunchtimes and take aways in future. Have really enjoyed some visits in the past but is not a local restaurant, but the only Malaysian I know of. The menu is extensive and the food is good."

"phenomenal pub. great personal. amazing atmosphere with a group of friends to eat and drink with a group of friends on Saturday night. I had the steak and the ale piee, the cake was more than generously filled and the veg was cooked to perfection. one of my friends was vegetarian, so she ordered the plant-based haggis wellington, again a very generous part and she could not stop impairing the quality of the haggis. the staff was very friendly to offer us with sharpeners and entertainment, as was filled with laughter behind the bar. we were happy enough to stay for the live music that brought the pub to live. everyone singed and danced in his session."

"Tried this takeaway for the first time and wish I haven't I ordered the Special Fried rice dish with a Curry sauce. When I tasted this dish, the rice was soggy with very little ingredients you normally associate with Special rice dishes. There was a lot of luncheon meat which I never tasted in a rice dish before. In all there was two Prawns in the whole dish which was the size of your thumbnail. The meat you normally get at the top of the dish was tough and not very appetising. I will say the Curry sauce was quite good, but...this was the smallest portion I have experienced when ordering a take away. Don't think I will this takeaway again."

"This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience for me and my three children. The service was excellent - very friendly and attentive. The food was also fantastic; all four of us had different dishes and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Even though my youngest son was entitled to a dessert with his meal, we were all too full to eat it. However, the kind waitress went above and beyond by putting together a takeout dessert for us to bring home. It was a thoughtful and generous gesture. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future!"

"I can see why this place is highly rated. The food is VERY tasty. My husband and I travelled about 30 mins to get to this restaurant because of all the food reviews, and it did not disappoint. I’m a city girl so this was a big departure from the glam city restaurants I would typically eat in, it’s a very small, cosy, village type restaurant, but that also has it’s charm. I like my food with a spicy kick and they nailed it!I would highly recommend trying Orathai restaurant out."

"Come here often for something to do, the food is always amazing and tastes great my favourites are the cheese bacon and maple potato skins and bbq sesame chicken strips. Our last visit the food was late arriving to us we didn’t notice how long we had been sat there as it’s a nice environment to be in). I want to show my appreciation to Lee and his service towards us, along side the many times he apologised to us about the food been late coming out he kindly gave us a huge cut off the bill, very genuine person don’t find many like him he deserves to be noticed so I’m writing this for him. We will be back to the restaurant regardless of the food coming out late once as the taste makes up for it Thankyou again Lee 5*"

"This restaurant is located in the heart of Bridgend town center, with a charming setting. There are also nice pubs and cocktail bars nearby for drinks before or after your meal. The service is fast and efficient, and the menu offers delicious tapas options. Highly recommended dishes include the honey and barbecue sesame chicken, as well as the dates wrapped in bacon. The restaurant also offers a good selection of wine and beer. Overall, it is a fantastic choice for dining in Bridgend."

"There are excellent Asian restaurants all around the Lakenheath area. This is not one of those places. As the only guests in the building it took the waitress 10 minutes to even take our drink orders. For only 5 people they forgot an appetizer, 2 meals, and a side. The upstairs is inhabited my rhinos, and it sounded like the ceiling was going to collapse on us for an hour straight. The prices are outrageous and the food quality is terrible. Prepare to pay £8+ for pre-frozen meals and an additional £4 to get boiled rice with that. This place is absolutely awful. Just avoid."

"perfect healthy lunch on the run! I am still natural wary of franchises and automatically think that they tasteless and over price. I soon have to change my stubborn opinion if I continue to eat tasty, great worth lunch like this! Of course, in the midst of a busy business district the place was packed, but he was brightly lit and looked fresh and inviting. they have barely enough time to decide what they want to order until they are at the theke, because the great amount of employees they work on. I didn't get enough time to browse the charming series of sushi and fresh salad and just went to order some hot food. itsu serves a variety of hot and cold lunches. the travelers and the suppers are ideal for the winter months. I ordered the Thai chicken pot, which was delicious and still hot through the time when I came back to the office. schreddeded chicken breast served with beans and greens on brown and wild rice with the perfect hauch of seasoned and ginger sauce. I ordered a medium size, which cost 5 pounds and was the perfect quantity for lunch. like a child in a super market I can't resist the tasty ones who call me when I wait for my order. chocolate covered in thin maize. never heard of them, so of course I should try them. they were a little strange, but really good, a healthy version of a digestive biscuit I guess. another example, how franchises are not all bad, cant wait to try the suppers!"
