The Landford Poacher

One again we’ve had a fantastic meal at the Landford Poacher. Cannot fault the food or the service and will undoubtably be back again soon.

Passing on the way home from Southampton. Best carvery we have ever had. Didn't have room for dessert. Lovely staff too. Would definitely come again.

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. The staff was very friendly and the beef was delicious. I would highly recommend this place for a Sunday lunch.

OMG OMG OMG. We went to this establishment 2 nights in a row. The food was just amazing, Everything was just perfect, the staff are incredible nothing is to much trouble, they made us feel like we were the only people in the place. All in all phenomenal.

We were the first customers to arrive for lunch after taking a family walk nearby. We were pleased that the restaurant was dog and kid-friendly, and the staff were very welcoming. Great Place ! We stopped here for a quick lunch break on a long drive. Greeted by a big smile welcome with our order being promptly taken. Food was delicious ! Service was excellent. We had a small lunch ,my partner had home made soup of the day potato carrot with hot roll /butter and I had scrumptious mushrooms on toast ! We will be back ! Enjoyable experience 10/10

This was a pleasant surprise, went for lunch with friends, haven't been to the Landford Poacher in years. Lovely friendly staff, good wine and delicious home cooked food, all at a reasonable price. The portions were large, the menu varied, no hassling by staff, but in view, should you need anything. Would highly recommend as a great pub, certainly nothing to match it within a 10 mile radius.

Called in for lunch, met with a very welcoming member of staff, gave menus advised us of specials, drinks order taken, also food. Not a long wait and food was excellent, good portions, well cooked and extremely value for money. Were checked on to see if all was good. Had deserts, don’t usually, but they were exquisite Roulade and Bakewell tart. Was also advised people with small appetite could have just a starter or a starter and dessert, not many places would do this, so definitely the best place to go. View menu
