"Poor service, food substandard, and adds gratutity to your bill without informing you. Chav style decor with walls made of builders chipboard painted orange. My seating was on a second level and two seats backed onto an unsafe drop which had no railing. Not a position I would want to have an elderly or disabled customer to take. Just unsafe. Informed the company of the gratutity issue and the need for railing; but, their reply was basically just suck it up we don't care what a customer thinks. There are too many better restaurants on the same block to attend this place again. As for the food, the restaurant suffers from trying to make a worldly selection, but fails to make it work. Thus, it just ranks to the height of cafeteria food at the hospital nothing special. The Pizza Express next door does a much better job and does not add gratutity to your bill without telling you.."

"We used the downstairs room for a private function after my sons christening. I can not speak highly enough of the staff, venue and food. Nothing was too much trouble and the day went without a hitch. The food was amazing and the staff were excellent from putting up my decorations for me to offering the guests food to take away so it wouldn't get wasted. If you are thinking about using this venue then do it, you won't be disappointed."

"We were very impressed by the efficient and friendly service on a busy Sunday lunchtime. Nothing was too much trouble. I requested a quiet table if possible and felt that the table we had been given fitted that brief. The roast was extremely tasty with a generous portion and we all had extra bottomless Yorkies and gravy. Yummy! "Usually burgers and cocktails are a great place to come for beautiful food and good cocktails. This time we booked a table online for 7:00 and when we arrived, we were told that the restaurant would close at 7.30 because it was very quiet and they had 'been open since 12'. Although they do not explicitly tell us that we go, they have left us no other way, as 30 minutes is not enough time to have a meal and some drinks. Very bad service. Either you do not accept reservations online or check them regularly."
