"Usually burgers and cocktails are a great place to come for beautiful food and good cocktails. This time we booked a table online for 7:00 and when we arrived, we were told that the restaurant would close at 7.30 because it was very quiet and they had 'been open since 12'. Although they do not explicitly tell us that we go, they have left us no other way, as 30 minutes is not enough time to have a meal and some drinks. Very bad service. Either you do not accept reservations online or check them regularly."

We stayed here at a visit to Brighton and always had excellent food. However, on this occasion, half of the menu was unchanged and the ambience seemed to resemble a restaurant to close well. Too bad.

This was my second trip back to Burger and Cocktails, the food is fresh, there is a wide range of burgers including veggie food and who wouldn 't want to indulge in a cocktail? Our server, Ed was super helpful and had a warm smile and a nice to see you back when I arrived, I was last there a few weeks back, so it was lovely to feel acknowledged and he 's a credit to the restaurant in his attitude and efficiency.

First time here, a late lunch with a friend and a need to catch up on the Goss! Glad I’d booked as it looked pretty busy when we arrived but actually most people had eaten and it emptied out in half an hour or so. Our server was warm and friendly and efficient. Attentive but not intrusive and was just there when needed. The food, well my Mamma Mia burger was a bit dry and tough. The rest was fine. Maybe I’ll choose something else next time. I’d definitely come back for another go.
