"we visited the krone in egham, but do not have the opportunity to visit them. we discovered this pub that is in the same chain and served the same menu (almost). it is fast to our local pub. look at the brot and the butter pudding, this is the best of all time! the duck seems to never be available, however, and Sunday triple roast does not live entirely up to expectations, but overall we have visited several, only for the other excellent dishes and the service. dogs are also welcome."

"Having seen the Christmas lights at Kingston Lacy we thought we would book a table at the Horns Inn. Still a lovely place to have just a drink and maybe a snack. We had booked for an evening meal, plenty of choice from burgers to a plentiful mixed grill. Well stocked beers, wines and spirits at competitive prices. We went for the fish pie with creamy mash and peas. The pie had cubed fish and prawns with leeks in a creamy chowder sauce. A pud has to be done and we went for the rhubarb and ginger crumble with ice-cream (or custard). Well laid out tables/seating good food and drinks worth a try."

"The venue was very close, so much so that they only offered food for those who had made reservations in advance. The staff present did their best and were very attentive. Unfortunately, many guests arrived only to leave a few minutes later. Several items on the menu were unavailable, including fish cakes, sea bass, salmon, cod, and the cheese plate. However, the food that was available was quite good and excellent. Both restrooms lacked soap, and the men's room had a water leak, leaving the floor soaked. It's a shame, as the place has a lot of potential; I won't be returning."

"Meal was brilliant. However, Veg had a small chemical taste. We asked for space for a stroller before the visit and they accepted that we were placed at the main entrance and the people had to enter the stroller out of the way. We sat with finished plates for half an hour and when they collected the plates, we sat for another 45 minutes. with no one sure we were all right. It was quite expensive and overall the staff were really friendly. It might have been a little better."

"tullie inn is a traditional scottish inn, in front of hole lomond. it was built in 1895 and has only 12 rooms. there is a bar and a restaurant, among which guests and tourists who come to discover this region, national park and city travelers often go. there are five superior rooms and one standard. there is also a room for families. if they have no car, tullie inn is the perfect choice to use the beautiful hole lomond, the largest in Scotland. the train station is 100 meters away, and there is a small commuter train to glasgow, arriving 30 minutes later. there are not many moves, but it is convenient as it falls before the hotel. then they can walk. the tourist information office is located in front of balloch, where you can view the hiking trails and different boat routes. the rooms cost 80 per double room and the family room is 150 for 4 people."

"It’s 1.30pm and we have booked a table at the Tivoli we walk in through the front door to an empty room. Surely Sunday lunch should be busy. We look through to the dining area to see a couple of tables occupied but are worried why it’s so quiet. We order drinks at the bar and the server is charming. The place is spotless and the bar well stocked. Then we are shown to our table and order Sunday lunches priced at £17 per head with extra for cauli cheese and then all becomes clear when the meals arrive . They are mean so mean my meat consisted of 1.5 slices of pork 3 roast potatoes. 1 carrot 1 parsnip and a spear of broccoli. All tasty and served hot but just not enough. They bag the pork out with a Yorkshire pudding and 4 minutes after delivery it all over. We then retreat to the garden to find the staff eating bowl of potatoes etc etc and I decide something is very much amiss here"

"My boyfriend and I went for Sunday brunch and were really pleased with the vegetarian and vegan options (he was looking specifically for a vegetarian Sunday roast and was happy to find one I especially appreciated that they labeled the items that contained almonds (and not just nuts), since I’m allergic to them. It was pretty busy, unsurprisingly, and the wait for our food was -really- long. They told us that it would be about 40 minutes, but it ended up being over an hour. The food was pretty good when it finally arrived, but the portions weren’t very big. I think we would go back and try it again, but probably at a different time of day."

"First visit to this pub. First of all the pub is beautiful inside and out. We were greeted by a friendly bar maid who gave us menus. Ordered two meals from the ‘classic’ section of the menu but barmaid couldn’t find the items on the electronic ordering system so said we couldnt order them which meant we then had to order other items from the menu which was disappointing. Alternatives were fine for the money (mash not great! . Shame there was such a mess up with the food we ordered as if theres a new menu in place they should ensure everything from the menu can be ordered to save disappointed to the customer. Again beautiful pub with open fire and would definitely visit again but please get your ordering system right!"

"It was my first visit, and I only had time for a couple of pints. The interior features a charming blend of old and new, with the cozy nooks and crannies of a historic building complemented by modern furnishings. I chatted with the landlord, whom I assumed he was, and he was very knowledgeable about the products they offer. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to dine there, but I would definitely consider it in the future. My overall impression is that it’s a well-managed pub, navigating the challenges that many pubs face today."

"We usually have a great experience at the Queen's Head, but during our recent visit, we faced some issues. We ordered the lamb shank with chips, but the vegetables were cold, and my friend's lamb was quite chilly as well. While they did replace the meal with something warmer, the lamb was supposed to be infused with mint and rosemary. However, the actual flavor lacked any hint of mint or rosemary. When we brought this to their attention, they mentioned that it was garnished with mint and rosemary, but we didn’t find those flavors at all. They did not offer mint sauce as a remedy. We paid £2.00 extra for each lamb meal, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Perhaps they didn’t have the right seasoning ready, but we should have been informed about it when we placed our order."

"Wednesday evening snack Got to the kings head about 7 just wanted a drink and a starter Saved quickly at bar and ordered a lobster and sea food cocktail. Had to wait a while and then served by a lovely man but obviously under a great deal of pressure I asked him how many staff were on and he sort of laughed and said he was extremely busy not enough work for. My food was good. Thank you."

"I visited on Friday evening and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance is delightful, and despite the crowd, there were still plenty of nice tables available both outside and inside. I would love to return on a warm summer evening to relax by the river. I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and onion rings for my friend, and I chose nachos for myself. Considering how busy it was, the food arrived surprisingly quickly and was absolutely delicious. Inside, there is a table with three water tanks and lots of clean glasses for customers to help themselves. It also appears to be a dog-friendly venue. I had a fantastic time and will definitely go back. A bonus is the garden heating lamps and ample sheltered tables outside, making it a great spot regardless of the weather!"

"great location and properties prefer by a food hygiene problem. while a main course was good, the other, a caesars salate was full of salat leaves, which obviously did not wash dirt nor stalk. service pleasant enough, but they do not tell them when they order their food that cutlery can be picked up at the door. as a result when they supply the food to their table outside, there are no cutlery with him, so they tell them to go in and get it, which rather defeats the point of the table service. would have been helpful if they had mentioned that cutlery was available at the door when food was ordered."

"Went for Breakfast in the Queens head this morning by accident because no where else in Frodsham seemed to do traditional breakfast. We ordered the traditional breakfast, when it arrived my husband and I were shocked it was massive only £7.50) it was gorgeous but we couldn't eat it all. The next time we go there for breakfast we will only be getting the Classic breakfast £6.29), not as much food We will definitely be going back, great food, great coffee, great staff, what more can you ask for Tilly and Tony Woolton)"

"We were very disappointed that they were out of chicken cake. Additionally, we weren't informed about the cheese plates, but they eventually managed to prepare two for us. Despite these issues, we did enjoy our meal overall."
"I recently had my first visit to The Watt in a while, and not much has changed inside. The lunch menu was excellent, and the food was very good. It was convenient not having to order via cash, as the food was delivered quickly and served hot. While the ambiance could use some improvement, at least there was no background music to distract. The restrooms were outstanding—well-maintained and clean with a pleasant smell. I will definitely return, especially for the fantastic lunch menu."
"good choice at the bar, Sunday roast was nice. the whole meat was tender and delicious, buttery maische was fantastic, all veg good, roasted picks nice, fry and yorkshires good. also had a nice hot drink and found a nice quiet place to watch the football afterwards. if I were very picky. personal preference already on the teller, so it does not have to be divided and distributed from a bowl, bratereien big, but personally I would have liked a small amount of spices (not allow them to be of the fact that they were perfectly crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside) I also used the free refills of yorkshires and roasties great back!"
