"We were pleased to find this place, and the food was great, the service warm and welcoming, with a decent wine list. But we won 't be back. Our starters mozzarella in carrozza, and sea scallops with pancetta, were superb, and portions were much larger than we 'd expected! We both had the 'special ' lemon sole, which was perfect. No space for desserts. We would 've stayed for coffee and grappas, but by that time, we 'd looked up the meaning of the word figa . I can 't give it, here you 'll have to look it up for yourselves. Just to say, there 's no pun, no witty wordplay; it 's simply a boorish and offensive term for part of a woman 's body. I 'd suggest a rebranding fast."

"Booked online last minute, no problem at all. Was on the busier side but seemed to be plenty of staff and everyone was in a good mood. Food was really nice, we normally go to pizza express and were surprised by the range of options. Only issue we ran into was the ordering via mobile rather than a person as it didn't seem to want to work but the waiter happily did it for us on his tablet. 9 year old daughter has asked that we go again when we're next somewhere with an Ask. Thanks. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free (non-gluten) pizza and pasta options available as well as vegan cheeses and gelatos. Kid-friendliness: Lots of options, our daughter loved the pasta dish and the bread sticks woth tomato dipping sauce. Wheelchair accessibility: Lift from car parking to entrance, and all flat with large doors."

"We've been with this ASK a few times and every time was a great experience. I came with a meat eater, but we shared the vegan sides (Garlic bread, side salad and roast potatoes) and I had the spaghetti al pomodoro without the mozzarella, which was lovely. We also shared the blood orange and chocolate cake. We're definitely coming back."

"My family and I dined at this restaurant on Saturday, July 28th. We had 6 adults, a five-year-old, and a baby with us. This restaurant is local to us and we are familiar with it. It has a warm family atmosphere that is busy but not overly loud, with friendly staff who are attentive and cheerful without being pushy. The service is good even when it's busy, and the owner is very hands-on and greets everyone. We enjoyed a delicious rioja wine, along with tasty house wines. The starters, pizzas, and pasta were excellent and reasonably priced. The mains and specials, on the other hand, were a bit overpriced and the portions were small, although flavorful. Two in our group found them disappointing. Our pizza, the Anacapri, was a bit lackluster, undercooked, and bland, which is unusual as they are usually good. Nonetheless, it didn't ruin our evening, and we all had a good time, especially the kids. The staff didn't mind the children walking about and they even received special attention."

"I've never walked out of a restaurant before, and I've been to quite a few! Unfortunately, the food was terrible; there was no option for the pasta I wanted, not even the ones listed on the menu. When my meal finally arrived, it was cold, and all dishes had the same pasta with barely any sauce. I sent it back, but it came back microwaved, causing whatever sauce was there to vanish completely! We apologized to the wonderfully attentive staff, who truly tried to help, and then we decided to leave. Now, we're dining somewhere else and feeling relieved we did! Service: Dine in"

"Despite having made an online reservation for a special birthday celebration for a friend—a table for three at 2 PM on Thursday, June 7—and receiving a confirmation for booking number 14, we arrived at ASK Islington for our lunch only to discover that it was permanently closed. We felt cheated, embarrassed, and disappointed. Since I provided my phone number and email address during the booking process, I am confused as to why I wasn't contacted to inform me that ASK Islington was no longer in operation. As a result, I am unable to provide the review you requested."

"I and my party came late, but for the happiness the table was not given away. eating was amazing. service was good. the waiter we had was very nice. I would like to be back for a date night or something. they have a good amount of vegetarian (and fleshy) means of life. many options even for a Fussy-Esser."

"Emily provided exceptional service and took great care of us during our meal. The food was delicious, but Emily truly stood out as the highlight of our dining experience. We were a group of six at a round table on a Thursday afternoon. If you ever decide to leave, I would do anything to keep you as our server."

"Our group of 5 visited Cafe Venice for the first time after attending an England rugby match at Twickenham Stadium. It's a 20-minute walk from there, so not much different than a venue in Twickenham town center. I made a telephone booking about 10 days before our visit and clarified that on rugby days, they offer a restricted menu at lunchtime but a full menu in the evenings. Note that there is a good specials menu in addition to the extensive menu on the website. We had booked for 6:30 pm, and the restaurant was busy with many other customers who had also been to the rugby match. We received a warm welcome, and the service throughout was friendly and efficient. For starters, we had dough balls, mushrooms, mussels, calamari, and whitebait. For mains, we had carbonara, calzone, and sea bass fillets, all served with salad or chips. The portions were generous and very tasty, and the food and wine were reasonably priced. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Cafe Venice and will definitely be returning."

"Is this part of the Al Forno chain or is it a franchise? If so it does not compare to the other Al Forno restaurants. Food was ok but presentation was poor. It was empty and the tables were dirty. Considering it was not busy service is minimal, the button to call works but this takes away from the experience there is no quality check and no up-selling took place. For that reason value for money is poor although not really expensive. A few people allowed of the street to sit and smoke not sure if anything was ordered this gives it a low end feel. Not as portrayed on your website."

"The place is cosy and simple. The food is one of the tastiest Italian pastas I have tried. Every part of the menu that I tried was fresh and tasty. I highly recommend it if you want a tasty lunch or dinner. Service was fast but not very friendly, which didn't affect the experience much."

"On arriving at Ask on 30th December, the staff had no record of my online booking even though I followed up with a phone call ahead of the day to confirm a high chair was required. My friends and I found the staff unsympathetic to our predicament and made us feel like the error was our fault rather than OpenTable or Ask. Even an apology at the time would have softened our disappointment but instead the staff seemed rude and unfriendly. There was no space to accommodate us for lunch even though I had made a booking so we were forced to leave in the hope that we could find somewhere to eat. Thankfully Prezzo in Marlborough managed to find us a table and we were really impressed by the friendly and accommodating staff. A sharp contrast to our experience with the staff at Ask. We had travelled some distance to meet in Marlborough for a birthday lunch and sadly we left Ask frustrated at the lack of friendly reception at the restaurant. Due to this unacceptable experience, I will not be using Open Table again for any bookings and we will not be returning to Ask in Marlborough."
"We went here last night for some take-aways. We ordered two Margherita pizzas and some fries. I don't think it took more than five minutes to have our pizzas ready and two minutes later we had our fries. After coming back to our apartment and...trying the food, we were totally in awe. The fries was some of the best fries we had in London so far (fresh and good quality potatoes) and the pizza was also very good (nice, thin, fresh base and very tasty). PS.. While we were waiting for our food we could see them making some other orders and they really are not shy of loading their pizzas with ingredients!"
"We have dined at Viva L'italia before and had a great experience with delicious food and excellent service. However, this time the owner informed us that the restaurant was undergoing renovations and our reservation was transferred to his other restaurant, Italian Steak House in Windsor. Unfortunately, the food was just okay, as my carbonara, which I ordered without cream, came with cream. The tiramisu, described as homemade, was more like a cake with too much chocolate sauce and lacking in flavor. The servers were nice, but overall I left feeling disappointed. While we did receive a 50% discount on the carbonara, it would have been better to receive the correct order. I really wanted to like this restaurant, but I am unsure if I would return."

"the Ribelli Sunday brunch is really excellent! we enjoyed the version with free flow prosecco. at 44 € we can only recommend the brunch completely (without prosecco 34 €). the pizzas are excellent. both the small breakfast spizza, as well as the normal (big) pizzen tasted us excellent. also the breakfast buffet does not read a wish open. all we have tasted has excellent taste (lax, salami, crimp, diw cheese (especially delicious: gorgonzola), salami, washbasin, ice cream, speck, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, seasoned, baked). I would also like to highlight the service positiw: the service was extremely friendly, helpful and consistently very flashy! we didn't miss anything. the prosecco was actually free flow . we felt very welcome and very well maintained for all time. we really liked the brunch. we'll come back! a warmer thanks to the entire Ribelli team!"
"Amazing Views Ask Italian is situated on the harbourside in Scarborough. Our table was on the first floor looking out across the boats in the harbour. Definitely one of the nicest views in Scarborough. As always the lentil ragu was delicious along with the olive and rosemary bread. The waitress was cheerful and attentive. The only thing that let the restaurant down was its dessert menu, each option had one too many ingredients making them overly fussy and therefore unappealing. So we went across the road to the harbour bar for dessert."
