"We recently dined at Viva L'Italia and had a pleasant experience with both the food and service. However, we were informed that the restaurant had been renovated and our booking for the Italian steakhouse was transferred to their other location in Windsor. The food was average, and my carbonara order without cream was served with cream. The homemade tiramisu resembled more of a cake, was drowned in chocolate sauce, and lacked flavor. The staff were friendly, but overall, I left feeling disappointed. We were given a 50% discount for the incorrect carbonara, but it would have been better to receive the correct dish. While I had hoped to enjoy Viva L'Italia, I am unsure if I will return in the future."

"Visited here without prebooking and were greeted by helpful staff and seated straight away. Staff were all pleasant and orders arrived promptly. The premises were a little noisy, with the sound of other diners seeming to echo, which made it a little difficult to hear what the staff were saying when taking orders. Food was lovely and well presented. My only issue was the portion size for the price paid. The sides were fine, but I felt the mains would have been better with a bit more of the vegetables accompanying the fish. We also ordered a pizza, which was a reasonable size, just a little bit more than I would expect to pay. We enjoyed the food, just would have liked a little more! Maybe it is a ploy to make sure you have room left for desserts, but spending over £50 for 2 people for a drink, side and main each was enough of a treat."

"they ask italian is a chain of restaurants that stand for bankable good meal. it is not my Italian place, but it has never proved to be disappointment. the ambiente connects perfectly with the service and the food, the calm and the collective. the menu itself is decent, starting with bruschetta, calamari, garlic garnel and mushrooms. with sufficient grades to choose from..The main course included an extensive range of pastas that are suitable both for vegetarian and for carnivores. "beautiful meal with my now engaged on Tuesday night. I had calamari for beginners and I must say the best calamari I had ever had in a restaurant nice and tender and a nice crispy teig, had a sleek chicken breast for pornstars that was beautiful and tender and dessert was also the best dessert I had in a restaurant that was the chocolate etna very tasty, they also served my favorite wine prosecco. the employees were very friendly and efficient and helped me also with my now engaged with his suggestion."

"Greeted by the friendly owner Andrea and seated at a comfy table at the far end. The other tables had metal seats which did not look comfortable. The range of food was good with lots of flexibility and suggestions. We had pasta and pizza both good but the calzone was a little doughy. The steak was very good and puds were tasty. House red was palatable and we were treated to a complimentary digestivo. We had a good evening and our overall bill for 4 including drinks and coffee was £84."

"Previously booked as it was a Friday night in oxford before Christmas, the restaurant could not find our booking. but after they showed them the booking on the phone, they could get us quickly and without watching a table, although the restaurant was very busy. I thought that was a little clinke and the staff treated it well. eating was very good and quick, one of our guests felt that the portion size on their ravioli was a little small, but the rest had no problems, was really good!"

"The bruschetta wasn't the best I've had but it was alright. The folded garlic bread with mozzarisella was by far the best thing we had! The lecca lecca (THIS isn't chicken goujons) we're half the size of what they look like on the photo but very tasty. The pizza wasn't spicy at all in my opinion (but I do like alot spice so could just be me). The staff was friendly and even made suggestion and advised what could be made vegan. #Veganuary"

"When we arrived, we were quickly welcomed and given the option to choose where we wanted to sit, which is not something all restaurants do. The service was top-notch and the staff were friendly. The menu offers a variety of appetizers and main dishes. We shared a delicious folded cheese bread with onions as a starter, followed by a pizza that was surprisingly small for a "larger" size, along with some chips. Our favorite part of the experience was the versatile layout of the restaurant, with two floors accommodating both smaller parties and larger groups."

"Had a very pleasant meal in a group of 9 with 4 children in the party. Staff were polite and friendly but be careful if you go with tesco club card voucher/codes, as they will not work if it is a special date (mother's/father's day, summer solstice or if the moon is in Jupiter) so it is best to call first to make sure your visit doesn't fall on a Christian or Pagan Ritual to avoid disappointment. Food was very nice and service was reasonably quick (the restaurant was relatively full). The venue was clean and in good order with men's, ladies and a separate disabled toilet. There was no sign of any reminence of the covid social distancing measures. Note, if you are in a party of 6 or larger, there is an optional' 10% service charge added without this being brought to your attention. Everyone in our party was happy with their meal and enjoyed their stay. We will be back on one of the few days of the year where there isn't a celebration made up by marketing companies "

"Firstly I would like to say that this restaurant has just been refurbished, and it didn’t feel like an Italian restaurant, more like a cafe at the beach somewhere! It felt very sparse and most Italian restaurants I e been to have proper tablecloths on the table but these were plastic and I noticed one table it was tapped up underneath, in my opinion it needs to be made more warmly and have more of a family feel. The food was really nice,although I would advise anyone to make sure they double check their order as I chose chicken in a sauce really nice which came with vegetables but I also asked for a separate portion of potatoes, when it arrived I just had chicken with a few cut up potatoes and a very very small garnish of salad ! I mentioned this to the waitress who had taken our order and she said I know but the chef had given you extra salad !! Sorry but salad is not vegetables , it clearly said on the menu it came with vegetables. Having said about the above issue, the meals we all had were nice and the staff gave us a very warm welcome and because of the blip they said we could have a free pudding…..not sure if we all did or it was just mine but I never see the bill as we were treated to this. To finish the evening off we were given a lovely limoncello shot. We would definitely go back. Thankyou for a lovely evening in your restaurant"

I had the super green vegan pizza that was used as basic instead of tomatoes. it was loaded with many green vegetables and their vegan mozzarella is delicious. in portions was good, and paired with the rainbow side salad, it was a hearty meal. they can also make their own pizza or choose them from one of five pasta dishes available. they also offer a beautiful looking Mediterranean salad. the staff was friendly, but the service was a little slow. we sat outside and wanted to order dessert, but they took so long to come with the menus we got too cold and gave up. otherwise it is a good choice for vegan wanted Italian food in a casual frame."

"What can be said about this experience? Our waiter was fantastic, Ryan, definitely went above and beyond, was quick to help with problems and very friendly. My starts reflect the service, which I find no fault in. However, the food was.. Average at a push. We waited almost 2 hours for our food, which is not acceptable, really; thankfully I was with friends so the time didn 't pass too slow. One of our side plates was not cleaned properly, and had cheese crusted onto it. I have uploaded a photo of my gluten free vegan pizza , that originally arrived without the toppings that were ordered, and evidently inadequate amounts of cheese (barely visible. The pizza was impossible to cut and I had to tear it with my hands to eat it. There were no starters available to me, even though they could produce vegan garlic bread, and a vegan pizza, they could not produce a vegan gluten free garlic bread. Whole party underwhelmed by food, special mac n cheese was a let down. Drinks were nice. The saving grace here was the desert. My goodness was it delicious. Completely gluten and dairy free. Perfect texture and flavour. I 'd go again just for desert."

"my friend and I went to the theater and thought so the question would be fast if it was a chain. my friend is coeliac and so she asked about the gluten-free menu. an ordner was opened on the corresponding side and she. ordered the fruit de mer fusilli pasta dish. I ordered pizza and two drinks. the front of the housekeeper murmured and did not seem confident if he was new, I don't know. when he brought the glasses for our drinks, we were both together to see that he had wrapped his hand around the top of the glasses. also pre covid we would not have found it acceptable! we commented on it and drank from the only glass he had not touched. When that came, we wanted to sneak in when my friend noticed a hair on her pasta. she only got it to find it was not on here pasta, but a long hair was wrapped around the spiral of pasta. we called the waiter and she showed him. he apologized and took the court away. then he came by and said that the manager would come to see us. the manager I suspect was the manager for this evening, as what followed was laughing. she said: “I understand that there was a problem with her meal, what was with her?” my friend explained and the manager said: “Oh, right, we will take it off from her bill until now ineffective. then she asked if she wanted to make a replacement, and my friend explained that she had been put off by the hairs. I mentioned how the waiter kept the glasses and she said she had a word with him. my friend asked if there were still gluten-free that they could make fast. Answer “I’m sorry to get you a glass instead.” when they left, we stayed in absolute unbelief. the manager returned a few minutes later to offer the king garnelen in garlic butter. my friend asked if it would be done quickly, to which the manager replied it would be. After 10 minutes I wait to hunt the court that, as I was talking about the manager, turned up. all in all, I would put all the problems on the lack of education. the personal seemed uninterested and more enthusiastic to chat with each other, to serve as customers. it needs a large restaurant manager who hires and trains the personal based table service, hygiene and problem solution. of course we will not be back."

"this is a part of the chain of ask italian to find throughout the U.K., and one would expect that eating is perfectly sufficient (although nothing special) because of it. in that we had eaten in another ask italian in london a week or so earlier, and that seems to eat wherever you decide to dinate. that's not a bad thing. it is always soothing to find a seperate vegan menu, and ask italian has one. while much on the menu looks quite basic, the quality of eating takes the whole experience on a stick. there are the usual pasta dishes, make their own pizza (come with a mozerella style,) a few salads and even a children's menu, of which the latter is really nice to see. this can not be in the area of super advanced vegan Italian restaurants, but we would definitely visit this chain again."

"my man himself had a gift voucher for christmas, so we used it on Saturday as valentinstag meal. the restaurant is beautiful in the inner, many tables. the waiter was very well visited us at the right times, I ordered the bread bars with cheese dip, there was a very good part of both very nice, in the did my man helped me to eat them, he had huh for his beginning again was abundantly delicious. hubby had pfefferoni pizza I had chicken mushroom pasta in white wine sauce, again both very tasty, the chardonnay wein was also very nice. no dessert as we were both very full. a beautiful evening in a beautiful atmosphere. they would recommend again.
