"Visited lunch time without a booking and the rest was extremely busy. The manager was really helpful and accommodating and found me and my two young sons a table quickly. The food came out fast and hot and was really fresh and tasty. The waitress really engaged with us and made us feel comfortable. The manager came over to check on us a few times and made sure the children were happy. It was lovely to see all the staff happy at work and the place was buzzing with a great atmosphere of people enjoying their lunch. This branch is obviously run very well and we will definitely be returning to visit again soon"

Just taken 35 volunteers from Cancer Research Uk for our belated Christmas do. Olivia hosted us all evening and was excellent. The food was very good and we were looked after well.

arrived for lunch at 1400, ignored by the staff for 10 minutes and left to go elsewhere. Plenty of restaurants in West St around the corner who welcome you warmly and don’t keep you waiting. Wont be going to Ask Horsham in the near future. View menu

Packed out at lunchtime but staff attentive polite. Excellent choice of menu including Christmas choices. Desserts very tasty. Made our catch up with friends a great experience. Only grumble could do with heated plates as were stone cold so food cooled quicker.

We booked a lunch for myself and my family prior to attending a panto. I've had a series of disappointing meals out recently so wasnt hopeful. But this, even though this is possibly a franchise I'm not sure, was absolutely superb from start to finish! We were quickly shown to our table, lovely food beautifully prepared, excellent service too. Definitely on my go to list from now on. Thank you ASK. At last a chef who can cook!!

FABULOUS AS ALWAYS! My birthday celebration with 6 friends. We were booked for only 6 but the Manager accepted another 2 of us readily. Menus and complimentary lemonade arrived immediately. I had my favourite starter, mushrooms, my husband had prawns, all dishes lovely. My main, best carbonara ever. Drinks arrived promptly, lovely chilli oil on table…. All in all, excellent service, food, ambience. My favourite restaurant in Horsham. Be proud! XXXX View menu

Just had dinner there tonight and paid by Tesco vouchers .That was the stupidest thing as I gave the waiter my phone to get the code from them .I know I had 3 vouchers £30 ,£1..30 £9.00 .When we got back to our hotel .I checked my vouchers and £9.00 and gone .Checked my receipt, the bill £34.55 and he took all the vouchers .To say I am angry is an understatement.and we paid £3.20 for drinks .All he had to do was ask and we would have paid more money and not loose the £9.00

Got a delivery. Food was at best warm, although some was actually cold. That is the items that were correct. They weren't interested when I called about the wrong item and I had to call deliveroo myself. I got the money refunded for the wrong item, but not the delivery charge and I am left with no dinner. Also the pappardelle is more like lasagne. Just thrown into a pot. Awful handing of food. If I had been in the restaurant I would have sent it back but this really isn't making me want to go in there anyway if it is a representation of what they think about customers.

"My mother and I had been following the Masterchef Pro comp ' last year and were really keen to sample some of the winner, Tom Hamblet 's, food. We travelled a 4 hour round trip for the experience. We don 't eat at fine dining restaurants often but we are foodies. Firstly, the setting of the restaurant is very lavish and comfortable with warm low lighting. That said, the dinner experience was a little too dark for my mother so that 's something to think about if you struggle with eyesight and low lighting. The service was friendly, attentive and speedy/efficient. The food: I 'll start with the dessert because that was a real pleasure for us. We both loved the flavours of Tom 's end of series winning dessert so the meal ended on a high (we ordered the Olive Oil sponge with lemon curd). I recommend not ruining your palette with the overly sweet petit four that are placed in front of you following dessert unfortunately ours were more sugar flavoured than any other identifiable flavour. Our starters and mains were very VERY underwhelming. They arrived looking beautiful, neat and tidy but failed to deliver on taste. I had wanted the celeriac themed starter but the waiting staff told me the vegan/veggie starters and mains were created by their head chef and not Tom. That was disappointing as his 3 month residency was the reason we 'd visited the restaurant. We ended up both having the lobster starters after the waiting staff recommended it highly as either a starter or an additional dish to share. The claw meat was minimal and tough and the foam mousse took centre stage on the plate. Whilst the plate had lots of textures to it, we felt it was unbalanced and generally with no 'wow ' to it. We enjoyed the coffee and rye bread with butter and pollen/fennel that came prior to this thought. I ordered the Guinea Fowl as a main after the waiter described it as a gamey, dark and tender meat. I feel like a better description to someone that hasn 't had guinea fowl before would be 'it 's like a chicken breast with a different flavour '. This is what arrived in front of me and I actually found it was quite dry and not dark at all! I would never have ordered anything that resembled chicken breast anyway so I felt ill informed about my choice. I also thought the girolles were overwhelmingly tart. I didn 't enjoy my main. Mum 's Hogget was nice but average for her too. Last comment I 've never in my life paid £6.50 for less than 1.5ltrs mineral water beware! I don 't care how much money you have it 's water!!!"

"Service: 11/10 Starter: Calamari Duck Parfait - 10/10 Main Course 1: 50-Day Aged Fillet Mignon with Bordelaise Sauce (cooked *Blue*) - 100/10 Main Course 2: Fish and Chips - 9/10 Dessert: Hot Brownie - Over 9000! I want to extend my thanks to the front-of-house team for their warm welcome. Although we arrived a bit late, they were incredibly accommodating. Special thanks to Irvana (I hope I spelled that correctly) for providing excellent service! My steak experience took me on a nostalgic journey—like Anton Ego savoring his ratatouille in Gusto’s restaurant. It reminded me of a family meal in Holland during my childhood, where I had my first real steak. This may have even surpassed that memory! I was initially hesitant about dining at Miller and Carter since it's a chain restaurant, but if you're feeling the same way, let me assure you: don't be. While it may not be the cheapest option, it definitely deserves a smart-casual dress code that anyone who understands proper dining etiquette should respect. Curious, I browsed through other reviews, and I found it hard to believe anyone could leave a 1-star review without sounding like a “Karen.” It’s important to take reviews with a grain of salt—this is truly a fantastic restaurant! In summary, if you're a fan of steak, this place will take great care of you and provide excellent recommendations for how to enjoy your meal just the way you like it. Perfect!"
