"you can't find a single fault on our visit. the food was top notch, the service was even better. I have booked online and asked a high chair at the table. we were greeted by a very polite young man who showed us on our table, where a high chair ready and waiting. it is a very small thing, but the attention to the small details in booking requests put the ton for the evening. Instead of the unweighted keeping of the baby moment until the arrival of a high chair we could put the baby immediately. many time that is given to live through the menu while still attentive with drinks. many small talks with our older child even without being intrusive. to go to eat. it was a place. we booked an early dinner as we have a baby with us, so only decided for 2 courses (good and desert). the heavenly saline was exquisite, truly remarkable. highly recommended. hadn't been here since one. "Have visited this place several times now and I know it can get rather busy hence the lack of availability when trying to book , a little disappointed this time , never really noticed until tonight with the heavy rain how dark the car park is! Lack of lighting! Was shown to our table across what can only be described as an ice rink , you should really display signs to let people know the floor is slippery. The drinks order was taken and then after several minutes was asked if we were ready to order food,the starter arrived before the drinks! We ordered very similar mains but were presented with wrongly cooked steaks, despite specifying, and incorrect sauce , the onion loaf which is normally cooked correctly was nothing more than a soggy lump of onion cold in the middle. I must say the waitress took all of our comments on board with professionalism and courtesy. Sorry to have a moan but merely disappointed when this type of venue isn't the cheapest but historically it has been worth the premium."

"they never judge a company what they get right, but how they put right what they originally were wrong. it was with a certain contempt that I approached Granthams, carter miller, for the second visit. I had brought my wife to dinner on Saturday 3rd March. I was particularly sharp as I have Coeliac disease and I cannot tolerate gluten. c m have a delicious menu, including a lot of gluten-free choices. on the third place we were particularly impressed by the general atmosphere and our helpful server bella. bella was very knowledgeable and helped in the selection. Unfortunately we were halfway through our starter when the server had rushed back to our table and informed me that they made a mistake in the kitchen and I can have a non-glue starter. While eating gluten will not kill me, it will make me quite sick for 24/36 hours, I asked to talk to the front of the house manager and explains the situation. the general manager, simone, then came to speak to us, he could not have been more apologean and completely accepted that they had made a mistake. we obviously didn't pay for what we ate and he gave us a voucher in height of £100 per apology and we went. I had expected the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't feel too bad at all. either I had taken up a very small amount of gluten, or the dish was in fact gluten-free. the next day I returned to c m, as I wanted to explain simone that I was in the order and thanked them for the way they had dealt with the matter. I was met by simone and the chef andy quigg. I thanked them for being forward and informed as soon as they realized that there was a mistake and how they dealt with the problem. they explained that they have proceeded to avoid incidents of this type and that all employees were reminded of them. they assured me that this was one. They invited my wife and I to re-enlist with them at a time of our choice – in addition to the already received £100 credit. my wife and I have consecrated on the 11th fairy, wow, on the sa, is the only word to describe what followed. we were met again on the table of bella, our server, who explained that she would take care of us and bring our food personally to the table to ensure that my meal was gluten-free. we have made our decisions and waited while our meal was prepared. bella was wrong, and was obviously overwhelmed, she did not bring our food to the table; all courses were personally served by andy, the chef chef. the staff was very attentive and simone, the general manager, visited us at the table to check what was all good. I must confess that I have never experienced such a service and am very impressed. carter miller is obviously a company that takes care of what they do and really want to take care of their customers. my wife loved the service and the meal. would I recommend as an allergic c m? in any case. next visit I will probably not be served by the chef chef, but I have trusted everyone that I will be served an excellent steak; by employees who take care of their customers. many thanks for the re-establishment of my trusted carter miller and for serving an excellent steak, with sauces and circumcisions. we're coming back!"

"Service: The service was exceptionally slow and poor. The staff seemed almost depressed and were clearly short-staffed. We waited an hour for a Sunday roast and two kids’ meals. Additionally, the drinks we ordered took over 40 minutes to arrive, despite asking several times. This included some water and a much-needed glass of wine. Food: When the food finally arrived, it was average, and not worth the wait. Value: We were overcharged, and while queuing to get our refund, we overheard multiple customers requesting the service charge be removed. When asked how everything was not one person expressed satisfaction. Conclusion: Overall, it was a major letdown. The combination of poor service, long wait times, and overcharging made for a very unpleasant dining experience. I would not recommend it to anyone and hope they address these issues promptly to improve future customer experiences"

"after that the starters were delicious, but very disappointing. the child does not have only supplied adult portions with us child menu. two brat potatoes and no boiled and cooked mange-tout and broccooli. meat was good, but yorkshire pudding very dry. had hot cross-beat pudding with lemon custard. one tablespoon custard sunk into the bungalow, because obviously was heated in the microwave that made the bun hard, i.e. ice cream on the top that was not on the menu and I was not like ice cream. the menu sound delicious, but not delivered on taste and service badly. child-friendly: does not offer a children's menu, even if children are obviously young (10)."

"my man and I enjoyed a fantastic evening with friends this week at the pentonbridge inn. it was our first visit, but certainly not the last. we had the course memory, but in reality it was much more than that as there were. many “Extras” like canapés, an amuse book, pre-dessert and so on. everything was absolutely tasty and portion sizes were realistic so we can enjoy everything without being there. I am gluten intolerant and I particularly appreciated the care and attention given both by the kitchen and waiter to make sure that I had just as good an experience as my friends. it was very little that I could not have and all adjustments made, not distract from the quality and characteristics of the courts. I was even provided with a freshly baked krusty gluten-free bread roll, which was delicious and a rare leak for me. everything was from a really high standard, from interior design, to the friendliness and professionalism of the front of the house staff, and above all to the quality of the food. many thanks for a beautiful evening!"

"We originally went for a lunch in an afternoon while we went for a decent wedding location. Once we started our meals, we knew we found the ones we wanted! The manager worked with us every step of the way and helped to keep things nice in our budget. The staff was warm and hospitable every time we visited what led to the big day. They managed 40 guests comfortably, but it's safe to say they didn't make it anymore. As a result, we didn't feel cramped and the food was served quickly, considering that it comes across a Dumbwaiter (Lift), the Chef/Küche team created the perfect selection of dishes for us, as we had several nutritional needs for certain people. The selection of drinks was sufficient and high quality. We came to a Prosecco reception and the tables were tasteful and attracted to us at no cost. You have received any request with ease and I can safely say that we become more common. I wouldn't say much in the kind of negatives, other than the portions were great for most, but a dish was so good to anyone who wanted it, there was only a little more of him since she felt it was simply not enough to enjoy full. that must be a pretty good backhanded supplement as it was? Try the Gnocchi! It is rare that I ever give 5 stars, but they definitely deserve that. Well done, ladies and gentlemen. We will return."

"I visited this restaurant with friends after finding it online, as we are not residents in the area. We could not have made a better choice, as we had a delightful evening being looked after by the lovely Olivia. The restaurant was quite busy for a Tuesday evening, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. The dining area was contemporary and well-lit. The food was outstanding, although we were a bit disappointed to have missed out on the special of sole. However, the sea bass we chose instead was amazing! The feta mash was also delicious. "Recently spent an amazing time in Côte Guildford with my boyfriend. We decided to visit restaurant just from the street, intrigued to try some french cuisine. "It's no wonder why this quaint location is so popular, we were so lucky to squeeze in with only a 5 minute wait. The food was beautifully cooked (I had the steak and Stilton sub) the king prawn and avocado sub was equally as impressive. The view (if you're lucky enough to get a window seat) is just lovely. Light music in the background, the staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The head of house worked his butt off whilst we were there to ensure everyone was as happy as they could be. Even people with an hour wait were satisfied with a drinks table whilst they waited. Highly recommend this venue, maybe book in advance as people turned away appeared more than disappointed."

"We had booked a table for and were seated downstairs, we placed an order for drinks and the waitress was gone as soon as we had said which bottle of wine, with no option to order anything else (like water). After the wine was...brought to the table we waited for someone to take our food order, no one came to take the food order until (after being called over). They were very apologetic and comped the wine, but the experience was kind of ruined at that point. The starters and main courses were delicious, as were the cocktails. The deserts were not great, dishes which are normally very enjoyable with odd ingredients added, to make them more unique, but which just made them unpleasant. This was a very different experience to any I’ve had here before."

"4 stars for the pub enjoyed the food (though on the higher side price wise) service very friendly but could have been more attentive. 3 stars is for the camping we had people on the pitch we had booked but saw there was plenty of space on the road side of the field and as the member of staff told us it wasn’t a busy road we camped there spent the whole night being woken up regularly by cars speeding past. No paper in loos had to use paper towels. At £30 for 2 people for a night not cheap. Avoid road side pitches unless you are a very heavy sleeper"
