"Very disappointing unfortunately, was really in the mood for a good juicy burger so decided to try smash burger for the first time. Ordered a single bbq bacon and cheddar as going by the photos I thought the double might be too much. Was very let down by what I saw when I opened the box. Rather than multiple onion rings there was only one and the burger patty was so small. I ate it thinking at least the flavour will be there and it will be cooked well but instead I get dry meat with zero juiciness whatsoever. First and last time coming here, Byron burger in the centre or even Five Guys are easily better than this. "We were in London for Canada Day and a friend messaged us to suggest this spot. As Canadians we loved the theming. The place was obviously very busy but I got a good look at the menu and feel it would be worth trying some food but thankfully was able to get to the bar to order a Caesar cocktail with the right stuff. They also had Canadian beers like Molson Canadian, Sleemans and I saw some Moosehead around too. A very nice way to celebrate Canada Day and would also be a nice spot to get a nice sports bar meal or if you 're on vacation and missing Canada for those Canadians abroad. We loved that they had a hockey stick ready to serve slapshots . Covent Garden and Charing Cross are the closest tube stations and there are quite a few busses that serve the area as well. It is close to attractions like Trafalgar Square, Embankment and the many theaters of West End. A surprisingly prime location in Central London."

"the food was excellent. eating the setup is also very cool where they can see the meal times that are organized. but everything else leaves a terrible taste in her mouth. since the reopening they have completely clinked their costs, which is sufficient for the meal times, but there are all the other bits that are disturbing. it costs £9 for an exceptional average magic rock beer £1 in tesco,) which is in old and flat. £5 for water in taking the mouse while they so much for the meal. it was about £85 for the delicate drink pairing! a binding 15% service fee was introduced directly to the bill. the staff was very good, but the wearer himself becomes excessively formal and quite clobular. the bill changed into much like what I paid to the fat escape, but I would argue that the fat escape is in almost every wise superior. it obviously felt like a true value for cash there, while this place really no longer. the meals themselves changed into incredible and worthless fees. it will be the whole thing that allows it."

"First time at blues and will probably be the last. Was ignored to be seated by multiple staff members despite making a booking and being asked to wait a moment and kept getting walked past. The server that took our order forgot the iPad to take it and disappeared to go and get it making us wait each time, she was friendly but didn’t seem to know what she was doing. However the real disappointment was the food. The food was abysmal, the brisket was hard, chewy and swimming in grease which meant the paper that was on the plate had separated and stuck all over the food, it also tasted awful. My partner had a burger which was dry, chewy and despite the several types of meat on it, there was no taste difference between them. The starters were average at best, but came out pretty much cold. We aren’t ones to complain, so basically ate hardly any of our mains paid £80 and left. In hindsight we should have got a refund, but at this point I just wanted to leave. Would have been better off going elsewhere, and wouldn’t recommend it at this point at all."

"This is an amazing place for vegan and vegetarian whole foods, health foods and vitamins. Run by a vegetarian family since 1970 they also have vegan staff so they live the lifestyle, are very knowledgable and extremely helpful. (Even sharing recipies They have a great selection of fresh, frozen and storecupboard food, vitamins and supplements. They stock a huge range of cruelty free cosmetics, face, body and hair products and cleaning items. It's well worth browsing around, and if you can't find something you are looking for they will do their best to order it in for you. Updated from previous review on 2016-11-22"

"As I mentioned in my last review a year ago, this was the first restaurant I visited on my visit to Edinburgh. And believe me, I've dreamt of Wings a dozen times over the past year. You could tell it's become a bit more popular. But the taste is exactly the same as I remember! The food is a real comfort food and the ambience complements it perfectly. Congrats to the whole team. Keep doing what you do! It's just amazing speeechless. Already loking forward to the next visit ;"

"The food was gross and overpriced, and the service was awful. The server threw my plate down in front of me, provided no cutlery, and it was hard to get their attention again. The breakfast came with a puddle of liquid covering the plate from the mushrooms as well as a block of unmelted butter plonked on top of cold toast. The bagels were rock solid, and the avocado was discoloured. We'd have told staff that we were unhappy with our food, but nobody checked back on our table. Nice interior but no matter how many houseplants are added to this place, the food and service are still below average"

"I went to The Stable recently after a vegetarian friend told me that they now had a separate vegan menu rather than just vegan options. I had the Vegan Scorcher and I thought the pizza was great, and the imitations cheese was much better than those at other pizza restaurants in town. The one downside was that the pizza was advertised as being spicy, with signs on the walls that it was made with Naga chillies, and I really didn't find it that spicy. Personally I do like spicy food, and while I could taste the heat of the chilli, if someone had ordered it particularly because it was spicy then I think they would have been dissapointed. On the other hand the garlic bread was great!"

"Hanks in Ipswich offers unparalleled vegan options that can't be matched in the area. The entire menu is vegan, making it a top choice for plant-based eaters. The menu is extensive, and although I may not be able to try everything, I'm eager to give it a go. I opted for takeout using the embargo app, and the service was seamless. I highly recommend trying their wraps, hot dogs, and macaroni and cheese if you're unsure what to order. While the prices may be on the higher side, the quality of the food is worth it. The restaurant is usually quiet when I visit, which is perfect for me as I avoid crowds. However, I hope more people show their support for this establishment. It's been a long time coming for quality vegan options in the area, and now we have our own space to enjoy. I also recommend visiting their other locations in Colchester and Felixstowe. Show them some love!"

"I didn’t really enjoy the food as I had my order messed up, instead of vegetarian burger I’ve got a normal cheeseburger then changed to goats cheese burger that came completely cold inside. It wasn’t to nice, to much chutney. We had few things on our order multiplied and the bill was very high. We could eat a much better meal in a nicer restaurant for that money."

"We ordered a takeaway from The Cow Apple and it was nice and we were happy, we went back for the second time and unfortunately it was a big disappointment. We ordered nachos and cheesy fries, there was no cheese on the nachos or fries. When we asked they said they had run out of grated cheese and had put on a bit of cheese sauce instead. We received a refund and an apology from the manager so we thought ok it’s just a one off. We then went there for a third time and you can see the result in the photo. Cold sloppy food, barely any cheese and not very edible. Won’t be going back a fourth time!"

"Seems to be going downhill which is a real shame. We visited yesterday and the service was appalling. Our meals were pretty much thrown down on the table and the waitress walked away. There was an empty glass right in front of her nose, but no offer of getting another drink. We flagged down another waitress to ask for salt, sauce and drinks. She didn’t seem interested either. Our drinks arrived 10 minutes later but went to the table next to us. When the guests explained that they didn’t order them, the waiter took them away. He didn’t check to see if they were for anyone else. We again flagged down a grumpy waitress to explain the situation and she reordered the drinks. Another 5 minutes and they arrived. The waitress said she’d put through a large coke rather than a small and hoped that “would be ok”. She knew she had made a mistake but there was no attempt to rectify it or apologise. Coke costs pennies so why not just charge us for a small? We were too thirsty to make a big deal out of it. The food was ok, not that anyone checked. It could have been awful and nobody would know. The chips were majorly over cooked and the roast barely had any gravy though. At no point did we see a manager so no wonder the standards are so poor. We had to go to the bar to pay the bill as the usual card machine apparently wasn’t working. Again, nobody was interested if we’d had a good meal or not. When we left we walked past no less than threes waitresses and none of them said thank you or goodbye. We’ve been going here for years, but I don’t think we’ll go again now. Such a shame."

"Fast food restaurant offering burgers, loaded fries, milkshakes etc. The venue itself is lovely, nicely decorated and plenty of seating. Order via tablet screens and no cash accepted I believe. I had the smash daddy burger and the corn ribs. The burger for me was fairly basic, I have had many better tasting vegan burgers so for me it was nothing special. The corn ribs were coated in some spices but it was incredibly salty. I like the concept of a vegan fast food chain and love what Lewis Hamilton is trying to do, but I’d really only revisit if I was local and in a rush."

"During my 9-day stay in Peterborough, this pub became my favorite spot for food. The 3 small dishes for £15 were fantastic value. I tried them three times and nearly made my way through half of the options. My top pick was the burrata with white bean salad, which I ordered every time. The other two dishes I switched up with each visit: small tacos with pulled pork and mushrooms, and all three variations of tater tots (my favorite was with pulled meat and Buffalo sauce, as well as with chicken and mozzarella). The food was consistently well-prepared and served promptly. This pub is a traditional, rustic establishment with cozy indoor and outdoor seating. They usually have 4 cask ales available, and I frequently went for the Adnams Ghost Ship. They also offer a variety of keg beers and lagers. The service was friendly and efficient. Despite being a popular spot with locals, I always managed to find a seat outside, overlooking Guildhall and Cathedral Square. It's a great choice for high-quality pub food in Peterborough."

"I have been a few times and was rooting for these independent bakers to make a successful transition to cafe ownership. Spent most of my time watching them get it more and more wrong. Main problem is that they are filthy dirty... front of house, baked goods counter, espresso machine, kitchen and bathrooms. Even above average food is not enticing out of a dirty kitchen. I chose not to eat this visit. The Blonde was happy with expensive avocado toast. Come for a hot sterile coffee if you must! Although beware the sus mugs (they ran out of clean cups during our visit) Espresso drinks come with a free sideshow as young untrained staff completely **** off the customers in front of the owner (who like Reacher says nothing). I thought the posh middle-aged Scottish tourist in front-of me was going to come to blows after 10-minutes of trying to get a gormless young man to see sense. She gave up. We almost did too while waiting 10-minutes to be 'shown to ' (pointed to) a menu-less table standing ready and empty. Unfortunately I think more unoccupied tables are in their future, as I will not eat here again."

"The decor at the Orange tree is just my cup of tea quirky and homely. I particularly love the little garden round the back with its leafy speckled sunshine and benches. The staff are always really friendly and personal and come across as a real lovely bunch. My daughter and I came for a Sunday dinner a few weeks ago (vegetarian) and I spent the whole meal saying Oh that 's good.....really good! It was a proper vegetarian meal. Delicious! We were so impressed I dragged the rest of my family for a meal for my week day birthday and all of us enjoyed our dinners. Much appreciated Orange Tree. Keep up the good work!"

"On my way to the subway, I decided to try the two-part fillet box at this restaurant, as I had heard good things about it. It did not disappoint! The fillet was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were spot on. My only critique would be that the chili seasoning was a bit too sweet for my liking. Overall, a great dining experience.
