"Just dropped in as we live locally and we were walking with our son his fiancee and our granddaughter. We also had our son's dog with us. We were made extremely welcome and the food was very good and what I had was lovely. We will definitely be back perhaps during the week soon Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"WOW! What can we say!? Chris Katie catered lunch at our beautiful outdoor wedding at Moonacre, Sturminster Marshall. They had a fantastic layout and lots of menu options available several different burgers, wieners fries! They absolutely smashed the service and excelled at feeding a few more than expected too! They made us a gorgeous little personalised menu also which we thought was such a nice touch! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about how amazing their food was even those who would never normally consider vegan options were blown away at how great everything tasted! They managed to positively influence even the most stubborn meat eaters of our guests to realise that they don’t need to miss out on flavour when choosing vegan options! That’s a huge win in our eyes! A couple of people even said it was the first ever vegan food they’d tried and they couldn’t get over how amazing it was! We told our guests about the Mighty Wieners restaurant in Bournemouth and will be bringing people back for more as they couldn’t wait to try more options! The day was such a huge success and Chris Katie did such an incredible job! We can’t recommend them enough, for food at their restaurant and wedding events catering! Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian and vegan options! Dietary restrictions: Served gluten free options! Kid friendliness: Excellent service friendly, warm and when above and beyond! Wheelchair accessibility: Perfect for full accessibility!"

"This is a small 'Burger ' restaurant who make their own 'meat patties ' It was my first visit and definitely won 't be the last. A good choice of burgers- we had the 'Cowboy ' a fantastic blend of meat, bacon cheese and various sauces. I 've never been a lover of the ubiquitous burger served at so many fast food outlets but the burgers served to us proved there are places that serve REAL burgers. The food was fantastic, the service prompt and friendly and the atmosphere eclectic. WE will definitely be visiting again."

"I have been a few times and was rooting for these independent bakers to make a successful transition to cafe ownership. Spent most of my time watching them get it more and more wrong. Main problem is that they are filthy dirty... front of house, baked goods counter, espresso machine, kitchen and bathrooms. Even above average food is not enticing out of a dirty kitchen. I chose not to eat this visit. The Blonde was happy with expensive avocado toast. Come for a hot sterile coffee if you must! Although beware the sus mugs (they ran out of clean cups during our visit) Espresso drinks come with a free sideshow as young untrained staff completely **** off the customers in front of the owner (who like Reacher says nothing). I thought the posh middle-aged Scottish tourist in front-of me was going to come to blows after 10-minutes of trying to get a gormless young man to see sense. She gave up. We almost did too while waiting 10-minutes to be 'shown to ' (pointed to) a menu-less table standing ready and empty. Unfortunately I think more unoccupied tables are in their future, as I will not eat here again."

"Me, my wife, our teenager and our dog had come out for the day to take a look around Newcastle quayside. We needed somewhere that wasn 't to overly priced and was dog friendly. we came across The Head of Steam by searching for dog friendly in Newcastle on the internet, and decided to give it a go. The pub was very clean and tidy inside (I would describe it as hip if i was still in my 20 's lol and it was on the quieter side of busy for a weekday afternoon. The menu had a lunchtime meal deal running that had a small, somewhat limited selection of food with Drinks for £8 as a meal deal. (think burgers, gyros, taco 's These come with nachos or for 50p you can upgrade to fries (and they were very good fries! The young lady behind the bar was polite and attentive, and she cam over to ask us more about my sons burger and how he would want it making up (he is quite picky she was also very friendly to our dog, giving him lots of fuss that he very much appreciated. Overall if you want somewhere to grab a light lunch at a reasonable price, close to the quayside and with a nice atmosphere, this is deffo one to keep on the list of possibilities. The only think i would say is outside of the meal deal, the main menu was quite pricey, and that should be considered if eating outside of lunchtime or seeking the wider menu options."

"Large portions, especially the sides. Delicious food. We had the Philly Cheese Steak, the Commadore burger, the Mozza sticks, Tater Tots, the Peanut Butter Salted Caramel milkshake and a beer. All for £36. It was a week day lunchtime and we experienced none of the bad service mentioned here. Very attentive and friendly. Women's toilets were clean with toilet roll and a hand dryer. Nothing we requested was off the menu. Any restaurant may suffer that on a busy weekend or evening so harsh to judge a place based on that. Would definitely go back."

"First time visiting. This was a birthday meal. I was pleasantly surprised. We had some roast dinners, one chicken and one beef, the only thing missing on the roast was stuffing! Not sure why it isn’t included because who doesn’t like stuffing. Then we had cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious The service was good and food came out hot and quick. Waited maybe 15 minutes. We went there when they just opened at 12pm so car park was quiet, it is also quite small, even 10 cars is too cramped. When we left it was basically full so if you were to drive there because you live further than 10 mins drive and went between 2-5 you might not even be able to park up. Just something to consider! But overall we did enjoy our meals and would recommend."

"Absolutely LOVE this beautiful cafe. Soo well decorated and stylish. Certain times of the year you can walk through sunflower fields and pick your sunflowers. The owner lady was a sweet delight. The food is wonderful every time we’ve been to visit. The staff are very professional and can’t do enough for you. One guy in particular, Will, I think his name is, served our table and I felt like I was in a Michelin starred restaurant. Just perfect in every way!"

"As I mentioned in my last review a year ago, this was the first restaurant I visited on my visit to Edinburgh. And believe me, I've dreamt of Wings a dozen times over the past year. You could tell it's become a bit more popular. But the taste is exactly the same as I remember! The food is a real comfort food and the ambience complements it perfectly. Congrats to the whole team. Keep doing what you do! It's just amazing speeechless. Already loking forward to the next visit ;"

"We came for lunch on a Saturday, we were advised that it would be a 30 min wait. The food didn’t arrive for another 55 minutes, and it came to us barely warm like it’s been sat on a hotplate so not sure if they forgot something. Other tables that had arrived well after us got the food well before we did. The food was mediocre, perhaps would have been better if it was hot. All the fried items like chicken or onion rings needed seasoning on the batter as it was quite bland. Overall a disappointing experience, we paid £70 for 3 people and it made us late for the rest of us our plans"

"Not able to pre book a table(service not offered for groupa under 8), so turned up hopeful of avoiding a wait for a table, but were seated straight away. Place seemed nice and clean, staff friendly, drinks order taken straight away. As soon as drinks arrived food order was taken and food arrived quickly, well presented and hot. Portion sizes were good, i had the hot chicken burger which was lovely, if very messy to eat. Loaded fries had plenty of toppings. Only niggle was a second drink somehow turned up with a rolled up waitors order in it along with the straw, staff were very apologetic and stuff like this does happen in busy places but it wasn't ideal! Asked for bill to the table but waited until table had been cleared round us and we hadn't got one, so paid at the till on the way out. Overall really good food, just wants a little bit extra staff attention to make it 5*"

"I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews but Unfortunately I can’t say I very much enjoyed my first and potentially last trip to Sabroso. Firstly let me say that we got the food as a takeaway. Now, I’m not a big fan of writing bad reviews. I would rather write a review praising the establishment to allow others to try as we have. However, we were mislead by the reviews and feel that maybe we caught them on a bad day. Nevertheless we had a bad experience. We started with some soft chicken tacos which *spoiler alert* were the best thing that we tried. The flavour was great. The meat quantity was perfect. A great little starter if you’re willing to share. I was getting really excited at this point. However, it’s a slow decline from here. The fried jalapeños were not great. Felt and tasted manufactured if I’m quite honest and with the chilli dip to go with it, which was most certainly ‘crucials extra hot chilli sauce’ that you get in most takeaways these days, I was feeling slightly let down. You would think a Mexican/ tex mex restaurant would at least make a good chilli sauce. For the main, I had a Beef Chilli burrito, which I asked to be made a little spicier, and it Was flavourless. Mainly tasted like cheese and was packed with rice, which I understand that’s what a burrito should be But there was barely any meat/ chilli. I was thinking if my chicken tacos were that tasty I can’t wait for the burrito but it was bland. No flavour to the Mexican rice and there wasn’t any spice to be found. I was very disappointed to say the least. The missus had chicken enchiladas and had this to say: large portion with a substantial amount of chicken but could only really taste tomatoes. Too saucy and rather flavourless. The onion rings and sweet potato fries tasted like they came from a packet. Overall a solid 2 out of 5. I had high hopes from the reviews but it really wasn’t much to shout about. Nothing really Mexican in sight except the tacos. Do not let our review stop you from trying the food for yourselves and maybe you’ll have a better experience If you eat in the restaurant rather than a takeaway. Enjoy yourselves. Nick and Becky."

"During lockdown I have ordered from Mangtoute a few times and I haven’t been disappointed. The food is always high quality and tastes out of this world. Most of the packaging in environmentally friendly and recyclable. The delivery drivers have been really polite and the times I have had to talk to the restaurant on the phone they have always been helpful and polite. Looking forward to going in for a meal when they open again."

"Just back in Leeds this week and I must say, my recent experience at DS was not good. The staff was completely different, as expected. It seemed like the take away service had taken over. We had to send back one main course because it was cold and not fresh. The chef did come out to apologize, which was nice. The service was inconsistent - one staff member was very pleasant while the other seemed eager for us to finish our meal and leave. Despite being the last table and celebrating two birthdays, the less interested server eventually brought the bill, placed the card machine in front of me, and just stood there without saying a word. This was one of the worst service experiences I've had and I won't be returning. Your experience may vary, but my advice is to eat quickly and not delay the staff. On the other hand, back in October 2021, DS was a fantastic venue with great music, friendly staff, and delicious food. I had a wonderful evening there. The Korean Teller tray was especially delicious. I can't wait to visit again. They have their menus available online for browsing. I would recommend booking ahead for weekends. The food is quite healthy with plenty of fresh vegetables in most dishes."

"First time at blues and will probably be the last. Was ignored to be seated by multiple staff members despite making a booking and being asked to wait a moment and kept getting walked past. The server that took our order forgot the iPad to take it and disappeared to go and get it making us wait each time, she was friendly but didn’t seem to know what she was doing. However the real disappointment was the food. The food was abysmal, the brisket was hard, chewy and swimming in grease which meant the paper that was on the plate had separated and stuck all over the food, it also tasted awful. My partner had a burger which was dry, chewy and despite the several types of meat on it, there was no taste difference between them. The starters were average at best, but came out pretty much cold. We aren’t ones to complain, so basically ate hardly any of our mains paid £80 and left. In hindsight we should have got a refund, but at this point I just wanted to leave. Would have been better off going elsewhere, and wouldn’t recommend it at this point at all."

"This is an amazing place for vegan and vegetarian whole foods, health foods and vitamins. Run by a vegetarian family since 1970 they also have vegan staff so they live the lifestyle, are very knowledgable and extremely helpful. (Even sharing recipies They have a great selection of fresh, frozen and storecupboard food, vitamins and supplements. They stock a huge range of cruelty free cosmetics, face, body and hair products and cleaning items. It's well worth browsing around, and if you can't find something you are looking for they will do their best to order it in for you. Updated from previous review on 2016-11-22"

"Hanks in Ipswich offers unparalleled vegan options that can't be matched in the area. The entire menu is vegan, making it a top choice for plant-based eaters. The menu is extensive, and although I may not be able to try everything, I'm eager to give it a go. I opted for takeout using the embargo app, and the service was seamless. I highly recommend trying their wraps, hot dogs, and macaroni and cheese if you're unsure what to order. While the prices may be on the higher side, the quality of the food is worth it. The restaurant is usually quiet when I visit, which is perfect for me as I avoid crowds. However, I hope more people show their support for this establishment. It's been a long time coming for quality vegan options in the area, and now we have our own space to enjoy. I also recommend visiting their other locations in Colchester and Felixstowe. Show them some love!"

"I went to The Stable recently after a vegetarian friend told me that they now had a separate vegan menu rather than just vegan options. I had the Vegan Scorcher and I thought the pizza was great, and the imitations cheese was much better than those at other pizza restaurants in town. The one downside was that the pizza was advertised as being spicy, with signs on the walls that it was made with Naga chillies, and I really didn't find it that spicy. Personally I do like spicy food, and while I could taste the heat of the chilli, if someone had ordered it particularly because it was spicy then I think they would have been dissapointed. On the other hand the garlic bread was great!"

"During my 9-day stay in Peterborough, this pub became my favorite spot for food. The 3 small dishes for £15 were fantastic value. I tried them three times and nearly made my way through half of the options. My top pick was the burrata with white bean salad, which I ordered every time. The other two dishes I switched up with each visit: small tacos with pulled pork and mushrooms, and all three variations of tater tots (my favorite was with pulled meat and Buffalo sauce, as well as with chicken and mozzarella). The food was consistently well-prepared and served promptly. This pub is a traditional, rustic establishment with cozy indoor and outdoor seating. They usually have 4 cask ales available, and I frequently went for the Adnams Ghost Ship. They also offer a variety of keg beers and lagers. The service was friendly and efficient. Despite being a popular spot with locals, I always managed to find a seat outside, overlooking Guildhall and Cathedral Square. It's a great choice for high-quality pub food in Peterborough."

"Had the reuben deli and the wakeup call breakfast bagels with the maple seasoned tater tots. Honestly one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a cafe, on the pricey side but when you see the amount and quality of pastrami in the sandwich you won't wonder why. From my limited experience with delis in pennsylvania the deli bagel is very authentic, and everything tasted great and was cooked to perfection. We separately had some baked treats to go which also look amazing but haven't tried yet. Amazing."
