"This is an amazing place for vegan and vegetarian whole foods, health foods and vitamins. Run by a vegetarian family since 1970 they also have vegan staff so they live the lifestyle, are very knowledgable and extremely helpful. (Even sharing recipies They have a great selection of fresh, frozen and storecupboard food, vitamins and supplements. They stock a huge range of cruelty free cosmetics, face, body and hair products and cleaning items. A great place to shop if you are in Dundee, there is a fair choice of vegan goodies. The fridge section has pasties and sausage rolls in it wich are good for vegans who are out and about in the city. The freezer section has a good choice of food too. We always find the pantry esentials that we need and the staff are kind and welcoming. View menu

This place is a decent sized health food shop with not a for the most part pretty good selection of produce. I went there looking for something ready to eat. They had a choice of savoury pastry stuff made in Cowdenbeath of all places in the chiller section that I could walk away with, unwrap and eat. Too bad they whey protein for the body builder market rendering the place not 100% vego.

I'm a regular visitor of The Health Store here in Dundee, they always stock a great range of fresh, frozen and dry goods. They are the best place to find the latest vegan treats from frozen pizza to vegan bacon. Family owned and operated, the staff are wonderful and friendly. What's particularly impressive is that The Health Store has been owned and run by the same family since the 70s, looking after the local veggies and vegans.
