"After I had made an appetit that runs around the kew garden, my friend and I drove to lunch after richmond. we have reviewed our options and decided to go for this restaurant./ the place is spacious. it made use of black and natural wood colors, which gave it a sophisticated yet domestic look. the outlet also uses a lot of natural light, which gives the feeling of an opener space. I liked the place. I think the interiors were tastefully finished./ it was not busy when we arrived, occupied with only one handful of tables. we need to choose our place and choose a rectangle. the personal was very nice and attentive. they made some recommendations and described the home specialties when we asked. we quickly identified our decisions. we had gamben and calamari fritti for starter and roasted pork bell and steak milanesa napolitana for our net. we agreed to share so that we can both taste more dishes./ the food was served quickly. the calamari was really nice. it was thin, slightly coated and crisp. the accompanying garlic mayo had beautiful aromen. it was a good choice. the gambas looked and tasted differently than we expected. we had the Spanish tapas version in the sense. that said it wasn't bad. it had fine aromas and light acid from the combined wine-garlic-lemon ingredients. the black bell did not see to appetize on the plate. the mushalat looked like wild leaves and the swarm looked boring. it was a thicker cut, slightly dry and a tade too salty. the Bbq sauce was mild tasting and balanced the salt on the pork. it added taste to the court, but there was not enough of it on the teller. I would suggest having it on the side and allowing the guests to determine the amount to put on the court. the sweet potato fries that came with the court were delicious. the steak milanesa napolitana looked huge on the teller. it looked delicious. the steak itself was tender, while the tomato cheese bouncing was tasteful. together, the tomato cheese aroma drowned the steak. we barely tasted the steak. it felt like we were eating margherita pizza. I would suggest the cook to recalibrate the balance. this could be a good dish./ the place looked every bit promising from beautiful interiors, chilled ambiente to good menu choices to reasonable trips, but eating was a bit down. we were underwhelmed by those who we had. I hope the place can improve and live its potential."

"We visited on Easter Monday. we were a party of six. I was surprised with how poor this restaurant experience was given it is within a 5 star restaurant. The staff were friendly but poorly trained. The room lacked any atmosphere. This wasn't helped by the type of screeching overbearing jazz music that gives you a headache. We waited about 40 minutes before our order was taken. The menu was very limited. There were only four main courses. (A steak, salmon, a burger or enchilada). I ordered the burger and fries. The burger and fries were €24. The burger was truly awful. It reminded of the frozen rubbery supermarket burger we ate as children in the late 1980's. I generally can eat most foods when hungry. I drew the line at this. My daughter had the salmon. It was €27 and was the size of a small mobile phone. When we asked for tap water having ordered two bottles of sparkling water, the waitress never came back with the water. My wife ordered tea. It arrived with no milk. We waited 5 minutes to get the attention of a waitress who finally brought the milk for the now cold tea. One waiter began spraying the empty tables beside us with cleaning spray while we were still dining. We were a party of six but had no alcoholic drinks and only one desert, the bill came to €210 for lunch. Having read other reviews it is clear that this poor attention to detail and truly average food (for the price) has been prevalent here for some time. In my view, you would be better served heading to Avoca Handweavers in Kilmancanogue for a fine lunch with delicious desserts and a great atmosphere."

"Haven't visited this place recently, as we've not had many warm summer evenings of late, but and these seem few and far between. The restaurant is one of a chain of Spaghetti Houses in central London and is within easy walking distance of the British Museum. Its charm is the large, open air shopping arcade in which it is situated. It itself, this restaurant is a decent, run-of-the-mill outlet specialising in simple, Italian dishes, all suitably tuned to the average, British taste. The wine list is standard and has a good range of low-budget wines to suit just about any non-discerning wine buff. The menu is simple and not too detailed, but with enough choice to cater for (almost) every carnivore, with vegetarian options available too. The choice of pasta dishes is extensive and they always seem to find special shapes of pasta that you just cannot buy in any shop! The quality of the food has never disappointed. The thing that has always attracted us to this place is not just the tasty pasta dishes, but also the wide, quite grand, Victorian' arcade. It is lined with small shops and book stores and the restaurant has created a very pleasant and comfortable dining area with rows of tables and chairs to the side of the walkway. So simple, yet very useful if you don't want to sit inside a warm, crowded restaurant in the summer or if you have a pushchair and young children, or if you have an elderly relative with a zimmer frame or in a wheelchair. The staff are always really good with young children and very friendly. Each time we've visited they have always been an all-Italian crew. And very jolly they are too!"
