"This is one of our favourite pubs in the area! It’s dog friendly, so we can take our daft pup in while we grab some beers and food. They always give the dogs water and treats, which our dog loves. The staff are super sweet...with our dog and give him a good fuss when he comes in. They have dog of the week pictures and it’s clear dog lovers have been coming in for the warm welcome. They have a wide range of beer, ales and cider. Some of the drinks can be a bit pricey but that’s leamington all over. They have got some great food and loads of vegetarian and vegan options. I especially like the vegan hot dog or the cauliflower wings. They have events on like the quiz but we have not been to that yet. Seriously give this pub a check out when you can as it’s great. They have really turned it around and made it feel nice to go in there. They have had their work cut out for them as the previous owners made it very cliquey in there and this kept people away when they took over. Once you get in there you will see how much it has changed for the better."

"We ordered Starters Main Courses and were astonished to be told we’ve brought ALL of your food together. The Main Courses were taken back by an apologetic manager and an adjustment made to our bill. The fish dishes were poor quality. The Deserts we ordered Chocolate Mousse Lemon Meringue pie were also very poor quality. Not to be recommended. We won’t be back !"

"We visited on a Sunday lunchtime in early August to celebrate a couple of birthdays. We had booked and were offered a table inside the restaurant (pub? which was all but empty while it was a nice day outside. We asked if we could be seated outside to be able to enjoy the weather and to watch the world go by. We were told very rudely If there 's a table out there then you can eat out there, but you can 't run a tab and you have to order at the bar . We did as we were told, trying to make light of the rudeness. To be fair, it was only one of the staff who had this unfortunate attitude. We ordered drinks at the bar and then our food There 's a 30 minute wait the rude server told us. Dressed Crab, Mussels, and a fish and chips. Turned out there were no mussels left, so we ordered another fish and chips. The food, when it arrive (not as long as 30 minutes was ok, but only ok. My mother 's fish and chips was overdone and dry. Mine was less well cooked, but still rather bland and fish was dry. The whole experience was rather disappointing. We cut our losses and left to eat an ice cream elsewhere. It would hurt any of the staff to crack a smile and perhaps a lesson in manners and customer service wouldn 't go amiss."

"We did a botomless brunch yesterday (14/4/2022) at The Phantom and it was a great experience. The full English breakfast was of high standard and the drinks were flowing. I would especially like to thank the staff who were looking after us (sorry I didn't catch their names) they are a credit to the business. Because of how well we were looked after we will definitely be back! Please pass on our thanks."

"I attend this pub a minimum of once a month with my father to catch up and enjoy a few drinks and atmosphere. Been doing this since the place opened. Will not be going back after today due to the poor Qaulity door staff and policy 's being made up on the fly. I booked a table one week in advance as I usually do and when I arrived as I went to walk in a young man maybe 18 stood in front of me and told me to not dare walk past him he had in plain cloths and nothing identifying him as a doorman such as an sia badge(turned out had it on his waiste under his coat deliberately obscured) he efused me entry as I had on jogging bottoms. I was told by the doorman this is a breach of the dress code/uniform policy. When I queried this policy as I 've been coming to this pub regularly for 10 years his response was he was denying me entry as 99% of fights he breaks up where people with jogging bottoms on. . While I 'm standing there two customer came outside for a smoke one with joggers on and another with shorts he then refused the customer who was already in admittance back on to the premises but let the shorts back in. When that customer asked to go back in and get his jacket and a refund he was refused, it took his partner to come out to get his stuff. I asked to speak to the manager as I had booked a table and ordered drinks which where at the table as my father had arrived before me, he said I was not entitled to a refund on site and would need to contact them via email. I then asked to speak with the manager and he responded with no. I had.to phone my father who was already within the premises(with jogging bottoms I might add) and ask him to grab the manager who eventually came out, I asked where the dress code was stated and she could not direct me to anything but she had made the decision on the day and that 's it even though the majority of customers inside already where weathering joggers. I got so frustrated by this interaction I started recording for evidence and the door mane then told me that unless I stopped recording my father would not be getting a refund for the table/beer he had purchased for my arrival. While I complelty understand some premises have dress codes they should be clearly marked online and not be changing day to day let alone during a day after people are already in the pub. The manager refused to provide any kind of complaint details aswell. Cannot believe after so many years of attending this place to be met with this, the doorman was needlessly confrontational from the get go and just making stuff up on the spot."

"I don’t recommend coming here unless you plan on partying all night. Myself and my partner came for a 1 night staycation on Valentine’s Day. When we arrived we were blown away by the customer service at the front desk and the interiors in the room. When we came back to the room for the night, there was a lot of noise in the hotel from around 9pm onwards. We didn’t mind this at first as it was still quite early in the evening. We were woken up from 3am-7.30am as there was people slamming doors in the hallway, talking very loudly and playing music in the rooms next to us. We were shocked how management could allow this. It sounded like there was 6 people or more in the room next to us drinking and playing music. We came to the dean for a relaxing night away but unfortunately we came home exhausted . We understood when we booked the hotel that there was nightclubs nearby but the issue wasn’t the outside noise it was the noise inside which was insanely loud. I mentioned this at the front desk when we were checking out and they seemed shocked and said they do walks of the hallways during the night but the noise was so loud I didn’t understand how they couldn’t have heard it. They offered to compensate us with brunch in Sophie’s rooftop which we appreciated but we turned down as we wanted to leave. Overall, lovely interiors and customer service but it is definitely more of a partying hotel than a relaxing quiet one. Unfortunately we won’t be back."

"My partner and I often visit Rye for a day out and we have now made this place our go-to place for lunch. The staff in there are lovely and the supervisors are so very kind and understanding with them. The food is simple fayre...which you must expect given what it is set up for. We’ve always had great service and food. Those complaining below must understand that you need to be just a little bit more patient and tolerant. It’s not the Ivy and was never meant to be so. It’s a great little venture and long may it prosper."

"that's my favorite café in bournemouth, all right. no other location has such a perfect balance of great eating and coffee, a versatile environment to work or relax, and wonderful employees. in the last three years I have spent many happy hours with friends here and countless more working on my undergraduate and master projects. I think it's nowhere better."

"frightening customer service. rude and indifferentes personal. does not believe that we are booking for afternoon as “we do not take bookings in a weekend”. they gave us a table. tee arrived and the brioche so advertised was missing and the scones were rock hard. When I drew attention to it, I got “so you waited 10 minutes to tell me about the scenes”. there was also a language barrier, or at least it was like they didn't understand what we were trying to tell them. I never had such a terrible experience as this. Avoid this place as the plague. I wish I would be on trip advisor. the reviews for this place are not good."

"We like going to the Grange . It has a very pleasant feel and setting with nice grounds and it’s always nice to arrive there. The service is always excellent. The manageress lady with dark hair) is always very friendly as are all the staff. The manageress is exceptionally good and professional and would not be out of place running front of house in a Michelin starred place. The food is much better than when it opened and pretty good. Please bring back the chicken kimchi sandwich. That was brilliant. In terms of improvement , I feel the menu could be slightly more carnivorous . After all hearing dogs are carnivores? The menu to my taste has quite a lot of vegan options and not enough meat ones. Bring back the chicken kimchi sandwich and I’ll give you a very good. But I’m quibbling."

"I went to the hope and anchor yesterday for the first time with 3 friends. We have been on many bottomless brunches in Liverpool and wanted to try somewhere new. The pub itself is lovely , really big and light and spacious. The staff were all really helpful and polite. Our server was Kelly and she was fantastic. She was always coming over to check if we needed more drinks etc. We all ordered different food and everything looked and tasted delicious . It is fantastic value for money especially compared to other brunches we have been to. Lots of drinks and great portions of food. We paid £30 so we could get the upgraded drinks option to include premium cocktails such as Aperol spritz and portnstar martinis but there are plenty of options on the £25 too .. i would definitely recommend a brunch here and we will come back and bring the rest of our friends ."

"The all-day dining concept of GBR (Great Brisitsh Restaurant) in St. James is all about seasonally inspired dishes. The preparation brings out the flavours of each ingredient and the plates are beautifully presented. Dishes we tried included Duck Liver parfait with Yorkshire Pudding; Norfolk Crab with Rye Bread and Crab Mayonnaise. For mains the Isle of Gigha Halibut was an excellent dish in a Clam Chowder with foraged Sea Herbs. Desserts were dark chocolate mousse and Lemon Curd Parfait. Service is friendly and knowledgeable offering advice on the sourcing of the ingredients to wines that complement the food. Hidden gem in the St. James area (Inside the Dukes Hotel)"

"quite the outlier experience for bottomless brunch. we were told that we had to order a drink at a time and that the waiter would regularly come by to take over our order. this did not happen, however, the service was incredibly slow and we have. always asked if our order could be taken. at the end we only have 3 drinks in the 90mins of the underless, for which we have paid. eating was at the level of quality of a weatherspoons breakfast, nothing special. will not return."

"After being regular customers at Albion cafe, we were eager to visit the newly refurbished cafe now called the Boundary. Unfortunately, we found that the deli had been removed and the bustling cafe we once loved had been replaced by a quiet, upscale bar. Despite these changes, we decided to give it a try. I inquired about getting gluten-free toast with my eggs, only to discover that it had been removed from the menu, leaving me with no GF options. The tea arrived without milk and the orange juice was forgotten. The food, although tasty, was served lukewarm. The menu choices were now limited compared to before. Albion was London's top spot for breakfast/brunch before the renovation, and we used to visit regularly. Unfortunately, the new Boundary venue falls short in my opinion, and we won't be returning as regulars. We are now on the lookout for a new breakfast spot in London."

"I and my family decided to go for dinner on Friday night and book a table at Balls Brothers in Hays Galleria and we were very dissatisfied and disappointed. When we arrived there it was extremely loud and people just hung everywhere, but that wasn't the main problem, we asked about our table and the host took how and showed where our table was dirty, but that wasn't the main problem, we waited until they cleaned it and we sat. Right over our heads there was a music speaker who was full and we couldn't even have conversation and we asked if that was possible to lower the volume down, but the waiter said no. We waited for menus approx. 20min more and got really upset and left near the restaurant."

"On a positive note, the service was excellent. The staff kindly removed the cost of the bread and offered to remake some of our dishes, although we chose to leave instead. It was easy to see why we were able to book a table on the same day. We do not plan on returning to this restaurant. On a happier note, the Daisy cocktail bar located below the restaurant was fantastic and bustling with activity. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area."

"The restaurant has beautiful, large napkins, a friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. We tried the beef and chicken burgers, onion rings, and milkshakes, all of which were delicious and satisfying. The fries and potato skins were also excellent."
