"We popped in here just on the off chance to see if they did vegan options and the staff were lovely and accommodating. I chose the sundried tomato and red pepper hummus with huge chunks of delicious homemade beetroot bread. Hubby chose the spinach, sundried tomato hummus and roasted red pepper flatbread both of which were amazing and tailored for us. They also offered us vegan cheese and butter."

"A wonderful place to stop for lunch or a quick coffee and cake! Staff are so friendly and patient as we often changed our minds given the array of choice. I had a cherry hot chocolate and I would come again just for that! My friend said it was the best coffee she had ever had. The prices are ridiculously reasonable and there was a good selection for my veggie friend. Since going we haven't stopped talking about it and are desperate to return. Lovely little place!"

"I recently visited this restaurant for a quick drink. I was in the mood for a mocktail, but they didn't have them on their menu. However, the kind waitress made me a passion fruit martini without alcohol after some negotiation on the price. The staff was very attentive and provided good service. My friend ordered a pizza, which arrived quickly but seemed a bit dry. He mentioned that it tasted good though. The restaurant has a lovely view of the airport, but sitting by the window with the heaters blasting hot air was uncomfortable for me due to menopausal symptoms. I ended up moving to a different seat further away. The prices were higher than usual since it's a hotel restaurant with no competition around. I would like to try the main restaurant next time. It was not very crowded when we went, but the bar area was quite busy with guests."

"Hubby and I popped in Beattie’s for the first time today when we visited Holmfirth. We are so pleased we chose this lovely cafe for our late lunch, it was superb. We had the sharing platter, wow! It was huge and there were so many delicious home made things on it such as hummus, pickles, biscuits, pate. My hubby said the ham pastrami were the tastiest he’s ever had. The staff were lovely, very smiley and helpful. All in all it’s an easy 5 star review we can’t wait to return."

"Heathrow Terminal 2 has become my home in Europe. I 've spent more time in this airport compared to any other and finding food is CRITICAL to surviving the trek over the Atlantic. I 've tried pretty much ALL the restaurants here and unequivocally, EAT is my favourite place. From the drinks, to the selection, to the costs... its the only place that makes you feel good in the air after eating while still being able to walk onto the plane thinking your wallet is intact. Though I know other places offer 'picnic ' lunches... none of them compare in price, quality, quantity, and variety as creating your own packed lunch from here. I often grab a fruit salad, main salad or wrap or sandwich, and a treat to go. I often grab a soy latte as well to keep me awake while flying back home. I love how the soy is not an extra charge. Their dirty chai soy latte is pretty good for an airport (thats a chai soy latte with a shot of espresso! . I 've eaten their falafel salad, cranberry turkey sandwich, and their roast sandwich... in addition to a dozen other options. I can safely say that they 're all as good as restaurant quality OUTSIDE the airport. They may not be Michelin quality but non have been soggy, terribly underseasoned, limp, or disgusting... everything here is good. As for the treats... their millionare shortbread is good. Gooey caramel on top of a tender shortbread and topped with chocolate. It 's a good treat for those who want to indulge beyond the fruit salads offerings. Another 2 great things about this place... it has ports for you to recharge your phones while eating AND it has screens built into their seating area showing the flights and gates. I really like coming here and relaxing with the latte while they waiting to post gate information. It can get busy here during lunches and their wait staff do get a bit overwhelmed clearing the tables but overall, most times it is super clean and a good place to relax while in Term 2 ... unless you 're in the Singapore Kris lounge but thats another story altogether!"

"We've been twice in 2 days!! First visit, yesterday was for tea and cake. The carrot cake was 10/10 and the tea is plentiful 4, maybe 5 cups from the teapot! Today we had lunch. Beef chilli for me and Homemade scotch egg for my husband. The meals both came with salad, coleslaw, potato salad and bread. Huge portions... its rare to level a restaurant feeling like you can't eat another morsel I love my food and this was absolutely delicious, and excellent value. A perfect stop off after a day exploring."

"Went for Boxing Day lunch. All I will say is that the food and service was excellent ! I had the most enormous focaccia bread turkey sandwich which had sausages, bacon, cranberry sauce and onion relish on it really lovely and very generous portion with great dressed side salad and chips. Fabulous value at £9! My fellow dinners had great fish chips/braised pigs cheeks on mash black pudding. Both thoroughly enjoyed. Plus 2 desserts which were lovely too. Atmosphere in this place has got better and better recently with dining area now cosy following addition of a snug area where part of the restaurant area used to be. The pub in general is just back to being a warm, clean, friendly, welcoming place to go and it is just great to have the New Inn ‘back’ as a local pub with great food. Quality ingredients cooked with skill style mean the food tastes as good as it looks. Next time you fancy something to eat/drink make the effort to come here as you will not be disappointed!"

"Loved my first visit here to relax with a hot drink after a busy afternoon. Very much a specialist coffee and tea shop. I asked for a mint tea, but they only had a mint and fennel infusion, which was delicious. The upstairs space is...tiny with just two tables to sit at and a few bar stools at counters round the wall. Downstairs is slightly bigger. The staff were great, very friendly and efficient. The location is convenient, near the Strand end of Fleet Street, next to the entrance to the historic Middle Temple inn of court and opposite the Royal Courts of Justice."

"Party of nine family members dined here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Four courses for £14:50 had my daughter incredulous as she lives in NYC where you’d be lucky to get a starter for that! Seafood starter was stand out, soup and pâté excellent too. Roast beef was melt in your mouth, the gammon in mustard sauce to die for and the turkey and ham moist and tender. Desserts perfect too, with the tea/coffee served with it. We can recommend the Merlot, too. Service friendly and attentive. Absolutely brilliant value in lovely surroundings."

"An average mark is maybe slightly harsh as we ate in the Dolly Blue a few times and generally were quite pleased with both food and service, but on our last visit the staff, despite almost outnumbering the customers, just seemed disinterested we waited some time for a drinks order to be taken despite the waiter being completely unoccupied, we had to ask for cutlery as the holder on the table wasnt re filled, we had to ask for sauces etc., and we had to ask for the table clearing when we had finished. If reviewing that night alone it was a “poor”, but the other nights drag up the average. There are however a couple of other things that might make the Dolly Blue a better experience; firstly why not stock some local beers, preferably on tap but even bottled would be better than nothing which is the offer now. Most of the competition has a range of real ales to sample. The lakes are over flowing with small local breweries, why not support them? Secondly, why the big screen belting out music videos that nobody watches and which is largely annoying. It adds nothing to the atmosphere. But finally, and this may just encourage a bit more staff enterprise and engagement, why not pass on any tips to them? We asked on the first night if a tip added to the bill would go the waiter. The answer was no. Maybe some does, and legally may soon have to, but I find it quite poor that staff who are probably paid close to minimum wage dont even get the full tip. On the nights of good service we left cash instead which I hope they pocketed."

"Dear Pret A Manger , I would like to thank you for your lovely , special , fantastic moments I find it in your shops . Really love it to spend a big part of my life inside your shops for a lovely coffee, breakfast or lunch. Around your shops I meet love and best times. I start to come 7 days by 7 in Horsham Shop trying to solve my Anxiety problems in public places. It’s works for a time I done this for one year and half already . Some employees was very rude and completely disrespectful ! All together created a real bullying and keep it like this for years. And after all years past already they keep going in the same way , even yesterday I hear them speaking about me not the nicest way.Between Rebbeca and it’s the short girl ex gymnastics very rude person. I’m Mihaela ex boyfriend, I’m not very well after we broke , and I still love Her so much . But all this need to remain between me and Her, not involving work friends, friends or to keep them involved when it’s over , bad energy for everyone, employees or customers. They are not there to get involved in outers past or problems or what people doing in they privacy, home , love stories ,life. The only person was completely outside of all this was Bibi and I want to thank you Her again for the amazing energy and smiles She offered along time . Kind Regards Dragos"

"This is a very popular cafe/restaurant with good honest food. Very popular with dog walkers due to its location. There is inside and outside seating and it’s located in beautiful woodland. This cafe is dog friendly. Unfortunately although I am ok with dogs I don’t like them messing around my heels whilst eating looking at me waiting for scraps and constantly wondering if one is going to do it’s mess on the floor just as I am tucking into my full English breakfast. There is no separation for people without dogs to eat so if like me you don’t like being surrounded by dogs whilst eating you may be better to give it a miss."
"The customer service is just great, super clean, they actually do clean here each table, super friendly customer service. Everything is fresh air and super tasty. I popped in wanting a break from my hike. And wow are they super helpful and polite. For £6, I got a chocolate cinnamon and a flat white. Did I mention they bake bread and the coffee is just sublime coupled with a mono Dutch or Japanese like aesthetics. Just a great coffee shop."

"After visiting Caergrie Castle, we stopped just beneath at a visually unimpressive sandwich cum light meals shop. The small general store next door put us on to it as a good option with their quality and taste rating, telling us not to be put off...given its decidedly old fashioned simplicity in appearance. The very personable lady owner told us she begins before opening by cooking fresh chicken, turkey, ham and pork every day. We accordingly each ordered a different large bap sandwich from her equally friendly young man assistant, splitting one Cherry Coke from the glass cold case. I almost never order such sweet carbonated drinks but admittedly it was enjoyable. My wife had a very tender and generously portioned turkey sandwich with lettuce , tomato and mayo. I chose the chicken tikka with onions, tomato, lettuce and mayo. Both were so fresh and surprisingly delicious. There were a couple of other options I would readily consider for an easy inexpensive lunch if returning to the area. At given the quality of ingredients, hospitality, and generosity of portions, the value was outstanding."

"This place was highly recommended to us by a trusted regular customer called Arthur ! So we made the journey to see for ourselves Great parking Really cosy looking cafe with fairy lights and one side of windows over looking the donkeys and the sheep. You can feed the donkeys with older carrots left on the windowsill! Great choice of all sorts of food. All day breakfast items which is good. Reasonable prices lots of room for wheelchairs etc The staff were all really lovely and friendly They accommodated our daughters dietary requirements no problem and when it came it was lovely Everything we ordered was tasty and hot Across the car park is a farm shop and a gift shop they sell ice cream too We would definitely recommend this place and we will be back when in the area"

"I have many fond memories of dining at the Salt Cellar when my kids were younger. So, I decided to have lunch there recently. As soon as I walked in, I was reminded of the elegant dining room and felt like I had stepped back in time to Oldham's charming past. The staff promptly seated me and handed me a menu. Although the menu had been scaled down, there were still plenty of hot and cold dishes to choose from. I opted for a tuna and mayonnaise sandwich with a pot of tea. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were courteous and attentive. I will definitely be returning to the Salt Cellar in the future."

"So disappointing yet again. Primarily come to use soft play and coffee..as nice selection of cakes etc... But, every time I queue for about 20 mins and give up on coffee and just pay for soft play and go. Staff are so slow and bored looking..with no enthusiasm or care it seems. To queue just to do soft play is painful...need another way to do this as adults get impatient in queue never mind children. Could be so much better for what else is there...but it's such a let down and although fresh baking is so tempting, I can't bear to wait... Please make changes..."

"I went this morning (23rd July) to get a Tunacado. The guy serving me could not look more disinterested. He came off arrogant and unfriendly but seemed selectively friendly to another so it may just be shallowness/judging a book by its cover on his part. I don't know if he couldn't spell my name properly or wrote an offensive word instead of my actual name but the girl called out something that sounded rude and he was there playing will the till and didn't hand me the food or even acknowledge that it was for me (knowing full well my name was not the one actually called out). The food is very good and it's the only reason to go but this guy who served me was an absolute moron and extremely inattentive. Please hire better staff grown ups who treat all customer equally! It's a shame the previous guys have moved on."
