"I tried this restaurant for the first time and was very impressed. It is definitely the best breakfast option in town. We ordered sausage, egg, and cheese batons, which were delicious with perfectly cooked eggs and tasty sausage. The portion sizes were also very generous and left us feeling satisfied for the whole day. I will definitely be ordering from here again. Thank you."

"After finding out about Wrights Bites and their amazing breakfast on social media, we had to go down and try it for ourselves, and we were not disapointed. The Wrights Bites special is out of this world, the eggs are so good, and the sausages are to die for. This is our new weekly go to place to sit in an eat. Its been years since I had a breakfast of this quality and for only £6with a brew and toast yoy cant go wrong at all"

"After waiting for months to try it, I finally had the chance to visit this restaurant at the York Food and Drink Festival today. It was well worth the wait! They even provided us with bottles of water while we waited in line as a thank you for our patience, which was greatly appreciated. Both my daughter and I absolutely loved the YorkyPud Pigs and the crunchy. The food was delicious! The staff was also very friendly, despite being busy with the long line of customers. I can't wait to go back for another meal. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you!"

"Good hot tasty food at a great price choices of meats of veggie mains and lots of sandwiches/wraps and sides. Only down side was wooden knives and forks that didn't cut the food too well. Served by Kaiesha and Leah heat service, bright and bubbly"

"probably the worst place I've ever had for lunch. minute waiting for chips, cheese and curry sauce, cost and I hardly got a handful of chips and the curry sauce was a firm block of gels in the tub. not the first bad experience here. I'm not back."

"I tried the bacon and cheese burger with a side of fries and onion rings, accompanied by a strawberry milkshake. The service was friendly and the decor had a nice 'diner' style."

"What a disappointment! We last visited some time ago and this lovely little pub seems to have gone to the dogs. We ordered drinks, unfortunately before we were told that no food was being served that day. We went to sit out side in the dirty little beer garden, strewn with rubbish and broken glass under the table and in fact were so disgusted we left our drinks and went elsewhere. The whole place needs refurbishing and it needs a good clean outside to bring it back to the Buffers we remember so well!"

"We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! We decided to try it out after not being able to go to our usual spot. The atmosphere was lovely, and we enjoyed a few glasses of wine along with a wonderful coffee. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We're definitely looking forward to coming back for breakfast very soon!"

"We have been many times to the Pack Horse and never once been disappointed, on this occasion there were 11 people and 2 dogs for Sunday lunch, it was as always amazing, the food was delicious and hot, everyone enjoyed their choice of food, the drinks aplenty and service was second to none, we were also celebrating our friends 60th birthday and nothing was too much trouble for the waiter to bring out the cake that we had turned up with, complete with lit candles and joining in the fun and birthday song. If you have never been please go and if you have, keep going, we have to support business to keep them alive and this business is certainly not complacent about what they deliver day in, day out. Already looking forward to my next visit."

"Eggs Benedict? NOT! So, I hate leaving low rating reviews. But there are times when it 's necessary. This morning I met a friend at the Chalet. I ordered Eggs Benedict. Now, in my 65 years, I 've ordered this as a breakfast choice all over the world. It 's usually always the same for standard benedict....poached eggs, atop Canadian bacon, on an english muffin, with Hollandaise sauce. What did I get at Chalet? 2 over easy eggs on top of deli sliced ham; yes there was an english muffin, but the Hollandaise sauce barely covered the eggs. Without a doubt the worst Eggs Benedict I 've ever had."

"We have been dining at Odfellows for more than 8 years and have never been disappointed! We made a reservation for August 21st to celebrate my Father-in-Law's birthday. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Danielle and her colleague who provided excellent service, as always. We ordered two lamb roast dinners, fish and chips for our main course, along with delicious starters and desserts. The food and service were exceptional, as they always are - we always rate our visits to Odfellows as 10/10! As a local, I highly recommend Odfellows to everyone we meet, in hopes that they will also attract new customers from further away."

"Great value, lots of vegan options we had great leek and potato soup x2 Turkey sandwich Herbie cheese sandwich, peppermint tea and latte coffee for under £20. Mostly students getting to know each other, looking to emulate Wills and Kate. A bit noisy, but enjoyable pleasant staff and efficient service."

"1 star for several reasons. Firstly hygiene. The person who served me moved from cleaning work surfaces with a dirty cloth and spray cleaner, straight to making my coffee and putting his dirty fingers inside the cups. Clearly instructed to wear gloves all the staff seem not to know that it is to protect the customers- not them. Secondly attitude. The coffee was served to our table but without sugar. When I asked for sugar I was told, “It’s up on the counter with the napkins’. All said with, ‘attitude’. If you don’t like the job try street cleaning, you may find it more rewarding. Thirdly. When I complained the apparent manager just demonstrated couldn’t care less skills. Lastly. The coffee was almost undrinkable. This cafe is adjoining Waitrose but separate. It serves some lovely food but because of the lack of hygiene, uneducated staff, and truck coffee, I will go elsewhere. Avoid it."

"We popped in here just on the off chance to see if they did vegan options and the staff were lovely and accommodating. I chose the sundried tomato and red pepper hummus with huge chunks of delicious homemade beetroot bread. Hubby chose the spinach, sundried tomato hummus and roasted red pepper flatbread both of which were amazing and tailored for us. They also offered us vegan cheese and butter."

"A wonderful place to stop for lunch or a quick coffee and cake! Staff are so friendly and patient as we often changed our minds given the array of choice. I had a cherry hot chocolate and I would come again just for that! My friend said it was the best coffee she had ever had. The prices are ridiculously reasonable and there was a good selection for my veggie friend. Since going we haven't stopped talking about it and are desperate to return. Lovely little place!"

"We went to The Dining Room on Saturday for a Birthday lunch. It was a wonderful lunch. The staff were friendly and attentive. We didn't feel rushed and this was gratefully received as we were chatting lots abd taking our time with the menu. Lots of lovely hot food choices, not sure regarding the previous review.... We had burger with fries, quiche and salad, scampi and fries and sausages with mash. There were additional choices we were also tempted in having....salmon fish chip or baked goats cheese. We all had different puddings too which were equally as delicious. Also must mention the freshly made bread that we were given to start with, yum yum."

"I recently visited this restaurant for a quick drink. I was in the mood for a mocktail, but they didn't have them on their menu. However, the kind waitress made me a passion fruit martini without alcohol after some negotiation on the price. The staff was very attentive and provided good service. My friend ordered a pizza, which arrived quickly but seemed a bit dry. He mentioned that it tasted good though. The restaurant has a lovely view of the airport, but sitting by the window with the heaters blasting hot air was uncomfortable for me due to menopausal symptoms. I ended up moving to a different seat further away. The prices were higher than usual since it's a hotel restaurant with no competition around. I would like to try the main restaurant next time. It was not very crowded when we went, but the bar area was quite busy with guests."

"Hubby and I popped in Beattie’s for the first time today when we visited Holmfirth. We are so pleased we chose this lovely cafe for our late lunch, it was superb. We had the sharing platter, wow! It was huge and there were so many delicious home made things on it such as hummus, pickles, biscuits, pate. My hubby said the ham pastrami were the tastiest he’s ever had. The staff were lovely, very smiley and helpful. All in all it’s an easy 5 star review we can’t wait to return."

"Heathrow Terminal 2 has become my home in Europe. I 've spent more time in this airport compared to any other and finding food is CRITICAL to surviving the trek over the Atlantic. I 've tried pretty much ALL the restaurants here and unequivocally, EAT is my favourite place. From the drinks, to the selection, to the costs... its the only place that makes you feel good in the air after eating while still being able to walk onto the plane thinking your wallet is intact. Though I know other places offer 'picnic ' lunches... none of them compare in price, quality, quantity, and variety as creating your own packed lunch from here. I often grab a fruit salad, main salad or wrap or sandwich, and a treat to go. I often grab a soy latte as well to keep me awake while flying back home. I love how the soy is not an extra charge. Their dirty chai soy latte is pretty good for an airport (thats a chai soy latte with a shot of espresso! . I 've eaten their falafel salad, cranberry turkey sandwich, and their roast sandwich... in addition to a dozen other options. I can safely say that they 're all as good as restaurant quality OUTSIDE the airport. They may not be Michelin quality but non have been soggy, terribly underseasoned, limp, or disgusting... everything here is good. As for the treats... their millionare shortbread is good. Gooey caramel on top of a tender shortbread and topped with chocolate. It 's a good treat for those who want to indulge beyond the fruit salads offerings. Another 2 great things about this place... it has ports for you to recharge your phones while eating AND it has screens built into their seating area showing the flights and gates. I really like coming here and relaxing with the latte while they waiting to post gate information. It can get busy here during lunches and their wait staff do get a bit overwhelmed clearing the tables but overall, most times it is super clean and a good place to relax while in Term 2 ... unless you 're in the Singapore Kris lounge but thats another story altogether!"
