"We were two families, so a rather large group of 9 people. The staff were friendly but very disorganised. We all asked for hot drinks and various cakes, but we had to remind them a couple of times that something was still missing. They brought us one tea too many but 'kindly ' told us to have it anyway. And then we got charged for it! A lovely place with a great shop too, but the summer staff need a bit of training."

It’s a lovely shop with some lovely Cornish things. It is aiming at the higher end of the market but if it’s quality you want this is the place for you.

a unique place, filled with cornish products, but separated, waitrose in truro. I was very happy with the meat and fish loading out of this, including john dory.

As well as being a locally sourced food store, it also includes upmarket Cafe with high prices and high quality food. Delicious breakfast, everything was served piping hot and within good serving times. The Cafe was a little busy but the staff coped well.

A great store with a wide range of different foodstuffs, including great local produce. This store is definitely worth a visit if not for the impressive selection of Cornish gins and vodkas. ; With direct access into Waitrose Partners too, it makes shopping a lot easier, as you can go across to buy the usual groceries.

I don't know if we caught them on a bad day, but we waited to buy some pies while the lady was slicing some meat. She could easily have said I'll be with you in a minute or apologised when she did finally serve us but neither happened. No interaction from the lady at the till either. Choice of goods is lovely but the attitude on this day was not a show of great cornish hospitality.

The sirloin steak here is absolutely amazing. About £6-7 each for a good thick cut. Throw in a bit of salad and a bottle of wine. Perfect dinner for two. All for £20. Just be prepared to be tempted by some of the amazing produce on offer. Damn you deli counter. . Oh..... And I've never had problems here with staff. Even though I'm a Geordie, I don't behave like a rude tourist. It goes a long way down here .
