"Hudsons by chance, and I must say that I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again unless I happened to be in the Putney area. However, if you happen to be in the neighborhood, it's a decent choice for a meal."

"I went to this restaurant tonight for a birthday celebration and had a great time. The music was fantastic, and the pub quiz was a lot of fun. The service was a bit slow, but the place was really busy and the staff were working hard to make sure everyone got their food and drinks. The restaurant has a very artistic vibe, being located next to the university, so it mostly attracts students. During the quiz, there were some inappropriate team names, so it might not be the most kid-friendly place, but I'm sure it's great during the day."

"The food was fantastic, but on the pricier side. It was quite loud and crowded because of the school break. I made a reservation using Opentable, but the restaurant couldn't find it. Luckily, they were still able to find us a table even though it was very crowded."

"My plans fell through on Saturday night, so we decided to visit Dirty Dicks instead. We haven't been in a while, usually just popping in during the day on weekends, but as always, we were not disappointed. Dirty Dicks is a charming and quirky pub with candles on every table, giving it a nostalgic feel with memorabilia scattered throughout. Nestled away on Rose Street, it feels like a hidden gem in Edinburgh - not pretentious, but full of character. Despite being busy, we were able to snag a cozy table in the corner, perfect for a date night. We ordered some appetizers, which were generously portioned and perfect for sharing. It was a lovely evening, and I highly recommend this authentic Edinburgh pub! X"

"Walked in to buy some pastries which were positioned to the side by the entrance. I was almost immediately asked whether I wanted to eat in or take away; on replying that I wanted to take food away I was ordered to wait at the till which had no food on display and from which you couldn’t see any of the aforementioned pastries. I was then asked what I wanted and when I replied that I wasn’t sure given I had effectively been told not to look was meet with a bemused stare and had a menu, which contained pretty much only hot food, shoved my way. I started to order from what I recalled they had and was half way through (as I was ordering for others that weren’t with me at the time) when all of a sudden I had card machine flung towards me by a completely different member of staff. Had they been jammed I would have ever so slightly forgiven their attitude but I was the only individual in the queue at the time. I’d suggest the staff in question reconsider their suitability to a career in customer service; from my experience it’s not their forte. Won’t be returning and if you don’t intend on sitting down to eat would suggest that you don’t either."

"Went here for a mother’s day lunch and was very pleasantly surprised at just how lovely everything was. The decor was lovely, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly. A three course Sunday lunch with all the trimmings, good portions and great choice for around £19 a head. Wonderful. We will go back for Sunday lunch without hesitation. Thanks for a lovely day."

"best authentic pizza in edinburgh. if they are looking for the best pizza outside italian – they avoid the “pizza house” chains (the jamies ersatz italian and the inflated egos and the consuming feeling of the service in the small Italian delicacies, the lothian road and hannover street are popping up (think about Macho-Italian versions of missrsham without the spirit) there is also a large selection of pizza alternatives: pasta etc. but as a veggie I tend to keep with what the jolly made famous. if they want a real bargain and must seriously fill with the day they can be a three cure lunch for £6.10 (rather choice including pizza, which must be the best worth in the city. a decent bottle of wine is about £15 – the house red/white served in carafes is considerably cheaper, what if it is not fussy, is okay. I trust no one who is sneaky over the jolly – and these people exist. okay, okay, the place is big, bright, busy, filled with kitsch, and may always seem so slightly chaotic – not fooling, the place runs like a well-oiled machine. but that’s why it’s so authentic italian – there are couples who sit next to big parties “in for the Playhouse”, local individual guides “in for their tea”, enthusiastic tourists and the occasional inebriated local politicians (it’s beguished that alex salmond gets his pizzas delivered from here, but I have actually not seen “the pie man” sitting on the space! a traitor in the jolly?"

"I am disappointed to write a negative review for this cafe because I support vegan food options. The atmosphere of the cafe is nice, but the food is not up to par. My daughter ordered a burger that was gray, flavorless, and had a terrible texture. It came with a side of tortilla chips. I ordered the Gangsta Granny haggis sandwich on sourdough bread, but the bread was more like white bread than sourdough. The haggis was bland, despite being topped with caramelized onions and apple. The meal also came with half a plate of tortilla chips and a lackluster salad. The food seemed to be made with low-quality ingredients and lacked any real flavor. If you're looking for delicious vegan food in Perth, I highly recommend Rascals on George Street."

"Not leaving a review for the food, though I could, as I have eaten from here heaps and always enjoyed it. Reason for the review is just that these guys are ACE. Had a delivery order from the place next door to them. Order was wrong. Phoned the number on the next door restaurants webpage. No connection. Found a different number from another website. That one just rang and rang. Called Marco’s to see if they had contact details for their neighbours, and the guy from Marco’s went next door to fetch the manager of the other restaurant. Now THAT is going above and beyond. Great service from the Marco’s team."

"Booked restaurant by mistake but decided to have a go. Lovely staff. It was our 22nd anniversary but reservation seemed lost. Cocktails were poor.! mine was served in a ceramic black cup and was half full with ice cubes, the kokokura? Dinner was ok its all about a tasting menu but selection was poor. We had to order a lot to be filled up, some dishes were extremely expensive ie:the duck . Not one dish was outstanding or memorable. Service was amazing i did not dislike the reastaurant but as a chef i was disappointed, I've had better Japanese food. For people with little knowledge of food then it's worth a try can't say I would be back."

"Tooting Broadway market has many great little places nowadays and Bordelaise is certainly one. Good food and surprisingly large seating area for the location. In our group we ordered two (very reasonably priced) flat iron steaks, both medium rare. One was perfect, the other was rare (close to blue) for a steak place to undercook a flat iron is not great. Yes, most places opt for undercook since it can be thrown back on, but this is sliced steak being re cooked, so it will not retain tenderness. The surprising highlight was the ox cheek stew, but note that the mash comes with carrots and bacon. This really should be stated somewhere in the menu. The creme brûlée was nice and great portion for sharing."

"So so good. I’d heard great things about Manjus but it still exceeded expectations. Service is exemplary expert knowledge of the family recipes and how to order. And the food flavours jump off the plate and dance around your mouth. There’s plenty of spice but also lots of delicate combinations across every dish. It’s beautifully presented and lovely to share with friends and family. I can’t recommend it enough. Really cosy dining room too Vegetarian options: Fantastic all veggie Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Paneer Masala NGI Option NF, Sesame Tikki Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian"

"That was absolutely amazing. The best pizzas I have ever had in my life. Perhaps the best. The pizza dough is outstanding. The toppings are fresh and complement each other perfectly. We tried the nenna, bufala, and burrata pizzas. My favorites were the nenna and burrata. The bufala was also fantastic and still ranks in my top 10, just not as good as the other two. The mixed salad is one of the best salads I have ever had. The dressing was flavorful and delicious, and I couldn't get enough of it. All the ingredients were top-notch. For dessert, we had panna cotta and chocolate pudding (brownie for all Americans). Both were fantastic, but the panna cotta was particularly life-changing. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough."

"If I could leave 0 stars I would. My friends and I were at a karaoke night at this dump and were told we couldn't be served anymore because of one of my friends who they specifically pointed out. She was the only sober one of the group and done nothing other than sit at the table and go to the bathroom. They only want you in if you pay for alcohol by the looks of it."
