"little samsi, now renamed 'japan' since a few weeks, is a beautiful little hidden shade right outside of withington village, over the road from the red lion. it has only seats for about 20 25 people at any time, and so fills quite quickly, but if they carefully select their timings, then it is not too difficult to get a place. the first time for me was usually around 9 o'clock, but at any time outside the usual munching hours (like 12 13.30 o'clock, and 6 7.30ish it seems easy to get a place and eat some of their delicious food. in consideration of the pint size of the nature of this device, its selection is quite extensive, including its evil cool o Bento boxes, which can be chosen by each element of them, so it comes exactly as they want it massive golden stars for those of this restless eater! they can choose the meat / vegetables option (of which there are two! hoorah,! the sose and there are two types of brilliant!? they also have five types of rammen that I just worship (I decided to ram with nice gyoza a very reasonable £5.50, sushi come out of their ears (they can buy a chef's 32 pieces especially when they're super hungry! , curry rice and curry noodle dishes, as well as fusion sandwiches like the yakisoba sandwich, which is a chicken noodle sandwich. a little bit for everyone and every methinks! They have a small shop area where I kindly taste the sweet tasty hello panda a charming panda shaped tocuity taste-proof. I love her. but they also have noodles, sauces, spices and other essentials make it to home ingredients at a reasonable price. Although there are of course not the same bargains that can be found in the Chinese super markets like wing yip, but it is less than ten minutes to foot from my house and I am lazy enough to be ready to pay for the convenience! the service there has always been provided with a smile and a chat without being in such an intimate environment intrusive, and the smells that drive through the sitting area from the nearby kitchen get these tastes before they even get their food. yum yum! it is worth noting that they have no alcohol for sale in the restaurant, but they informed us kindly that we were welcome to just bump on the off license over the street and bring any alcohol we want. and I did not see any cork fee on the bill, which was great! if they are not over a wee tipple with their scran, though, they have a very choice all in all this is a beautiful change from the usual places I go for eating in withington, and I would definitely be more than happy to entertain friends or family in this picturesque little eastern shade."

"We decided to eat here last minute on our trip to Edinburgh and it was our first visit to Yo Sushi. Friendly staff and the sushi was nice, but what ruined it was after we had finished our meal. As we were stacking the bowls up ready for the bill we noticed that one of the lids of the dishes had an expiry time of 3:30pm, baring in mind we ate at about 6pm. I was really concerned, especially with it being fish, and we weren’t too sure which of the dishes we ate was the one that was expired. We checked the rest of ours and they were okay (all with a time of about 6pm though), but we looked at the belt and saw that a large number of them expired at 3:30/4:30pm yet were still going round with people eating them. We told the young waitress who apologised and said that they were very understaffed so nobody had done a belt check recently. I understand it’s difficult with staff shortages, but surely health and safety should be a priority? She removed the cost of the most expensive plate off the bill, but we spent the rest of the night worrying whether we would get ill, and we had a flight home the next day. We were there for a further 15 minutes whilst she was sorting the bill, and it was only when we were leaving we saw somebody actually doing a belt check. A big disappointment, it has put me off Yo Sushi for life, and I was a bit shocked at the lack of care the staff had for health and safety."

"satori is located at the end of the toy section on the top floor of bentalls I actually found it random, recognized the names of the previous Rotunda location. After I didn't eat a whole day, I decided to sit at 4 o'clock for a meal in satori, as I wanted to see how the place was and didn't really want to wait to come home until I could take a meal. first impressions restaurant looks very clean and beautiful, sitting opportunity is a little. strange in the front area, as the wooden benches screwed on the floor and slightly dense to in. server was very nice and helpful. myself offered to explain the menu, although I rejected how I felt that I knew enough to understand the differences between maki and nigiri etc. if they do not want to sit, there are also bar seats on the conveyor belt. what I ordered was quite small: 1 order of lachsmaki and 1 chicken noodle soup/miso. the total came to around £9.35, and for this price they get 4 rolls of some absolutely delicious maki, and an approximately medium looking dish of some of the most tasty suppe I had the pleasure to taste (complete with water chestnut, great chicken and a type of leaves none of these faux-japanic liquid müll.) all the correct mixes of easy I will say that anyone who compares satori with the yosushi below does not think straight as it is like a comparison of a lidl with a whole food because they both sell food satori prices may be a little higher than what I have seen on some places (mind you, the maki is cheaper than yosushi. but I think that is strong in what they receive. the only reason why I would ever fall in yosushi is likely because they offer a considerable student discount, but they do not offer a menu outside their sushi. so my general recommendation is definitiw a big plus for satori kingston, in me the opportunity to taste some of the best food I had in one because, and in a good looking, cheap location. when they plan to go, they use their 5 plates for £15 they offer to do on assembly. it is worth going even more. will definitely be back, probably with friends!
