Wagamama - Menu

We had a lovely server called Flo, she was very attentive. The atmosphere and food were both relaxed and lovely. 5* would come again.

Alex and Faizan looked after us amazingly well. My daughter was unwell and the care received was outstanding from both. The food, as always was amazing. We will be back. S S…. Waiter

One whole meal missing out of 4. Rang to complain. Told I had to ask for a refund my end. Explained that it would have been nice to offer a little more when it’s their mistake and we haven’t a meal as a family of 4. And the man on the phone hung up on me. Poor customer service. Then looked at the portion size and it is half of the normal size. Rip off. Won’t be going there again. Used to be my favourite restaurant. Can’t believe they hung up on me. Disgusting!

When we arrived we were told there would be a wait and were given menus to look at outside in the entrance way. It was cold and so we closed the outside door. A server then came out reopened the door and reprimanded us in no uncertain terms in front of the other people waiting. If potential customers are spoken to like that we were not prepared to chance the table service. We went to a nearby restaurant where we were made to feel welcome and the service was great.

I was warmly welcomed by a friendly supervisor/manager who guided me through the menu and then served by a very nice and efficient waiter, Toby. For my starter, I had pulled duck in a wrap which was delicious, followed by the firecracker main dish, which was spicy and amazing. The Malbec wine was also good. I am considering visiting Wagamama again, but probably not at the airport. I must commend the contrast in my experience and the company's complaints procedure for enticing me back for another visit. We were led to our table and the waitress was very friendly. We placed our order but we’re informed that 2 of our chosen orders and the beer my husband wanted weren’t available so that was disappointing. When the food arrived it was lovely however by this time our table had been ‘attended’ to by a waiter whose attitude at the very least was dismissive and bordered on rude. He hovered around the table as we were finishing as if he couldn’t wait for us to leave and another waitress started to clear the table before everyone had finished which a complete no no. We are regular visitors to Sheffield and safe to say there are far better places to eat on Leopold Square. We won’t return.

Very disappointing. My son and I went for a nice meal out, we were told off for not waiting to be seated, we did not see the sign which was apparently outside but it was raining when we arrived so just got in quickly. We then said we would go back outside and the man said no you can sit here. Well if it wasn't a problem why are you making it one! The waiter constantly miss-gendered my son. The food was nice but nothing special and when the bill arrived it came as a shock that it had cost over £70 for two of us. I won't be going again. My son also wondered why there was no knife and were informed by another customer that Asian cuisine doesn't use them. i get that but we were in Sheffield and...

I have been wanting to try Wagamama for some time and finally had the chance to do so. The restaurant is located a bit secluded but not too difficult to find. The interior design complements the dining style well. The staff were friendly but a bit overwhelming as we were constantly approached by multiple servers. The Calamari was the standout dish of the evening, the best I have ever had. I would come back just for that alone. Unfortunately, the main dishes (Katsu chicken and Chicken and Prawn Yakisoba) were a bit lackluster in flavor. The dessert (Mochi) was okay but didn't match the excellence of the starter.
