"we visited on a Friday night and there were few free spaces. the restaurant is old, cozy and friendly, and we were immediately greeted and sitting. our German was not willing to understand the whole menu that contained many local and seasonal dishes...but a beautiful waitress came and explained all the dishes in simple German, and even went to the kitchen to pick up an ingredient to show us if we could not understand what definitiw went beyond and beyond her tasks! the traditional dishes we chose were delicious, but the portions were huge! I would have liked to try a pudding, but there was no place for that. I would have liked to have had a meal between two and would have been full!"

Hat alles gut geschmeckt. Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Leider waren die Bratkartoffeln zu fettig ist aber bei den meisten Restaurants nicht so gut wie zu Hause.

Überschaubare Speisekarte mit guten Speisen. Im Restaurant ist es relativ laut ,man bekommt viel von den Nachbartischen mit. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

The restaurant is family-friendly. It offered good-value for money food and drink. The highlight on this occasion was a traditional German winter dish: goose. We pre-ordered and reserved a table for eight. The waitress we had on the day was attentitive and the food was...very good. Eating here the first time, I was positively surprised. I will go again next winter.

Ich liebe Hausmannskost, die ich seit Omma als Kind nicht mehr SO KLASSE bekommen habe, wie von Peter und dem Wolf hier. Leib-,Magen- und Fürstengericht hier ist der Düsseldorfer Senfrostbraten. Den gibt es einfach sonst nirgendwo so gut. Bedienung ist top, Essen auch und ich liebe die schmauchige, urwüchsige Atmosphäre aus altem Düsseldorfer Wirtshausfeeling, Geruch nach Bierdeckeln und Duft nach dunkler Bratensauce. Hier wird Omma für immer lebendig sein. Mein zweites Wohnzimmer.
