"I visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and found that it was not very busy. However, it took an hour and ten minutes for them to bring us our boneless chicken meal and two trays of fries. I even had to ask for them. They also forgot our naan bread, which we had to remind them about. The food was served with dirty kitchen roll and we had to ask for napkins. The fries were cold and had to be sent back. We only received three sets of cutlery that had been handled by the waitress beforehand. The food was not great overall. The women's toilets were dirty and did not seem to be cleaned regularly. The hand dryers did not work in the men's toilets and the tap water was dangerously hot. It was a disappointing experience for a bar and grill. They did have a good selection of drinks at the bar. I will not be rushing back to eat there, but it is a good spot for kids' football outside. I would recommend eating elsewhere next time."

Last week, my son had an award ceremony at this restaurant. The venue was fantastic and the kids had a great time. I highly recommend this place. The price per person is between £1-10. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a 4 out of 5. I recommend trying the Large Sizzler Mixed Grill.

Last weekend, I attended a private event at this restaurant and the DJ was absolutely sensational. The price per person ranged from £10 to £20, the food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was perfect. There was plenty of parking available, with free parking options in the parking lot. View menu

Hired the function room out recently for a family party and the team could not have been more helpful from the time I first enquired about the room until the last guest leaving on the night. Fulfilled every request, friendly bar staff and Chef Krishna provided a tasty selection of food that everyone loved. We had about 60-70 in the room which was the right number for that size room. Highly recommend for a private party. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Tikka Grill Chips

"This was our first visit. I have to remind myself that this is a training environment for students but there should be someone in charge, who is identifiable to direct the students on how to present a menu and how to place a dish in front of customers. However, four courses for £35, amuse bouche counted for one course. Amouse bouche lacked any seasoning, orzo starter, well cooked but again lacked seasoning. My wife had fish, Coley, which was nice. I had chicken breast on a bed of curry sauce with hassleback potatoes. My whole dish was luke warm at best, the curry sauce was overpowering, and the hassleback potatoes were not crispy. The chicken was lovely and moist and I ordered a side of triple cooked chips which were super hot, expensive at £4, I only wish the rest of my dish was that hot. I had cheese and biscuits which consisted of Brie, blue cheese and cheddar together with chutney. My wife had Pain Perdue which was well presented and tasty. The restaurant is more like a cafe, not cosy, so don't choose it if you want a romantic evening. Overall would I go again? probably not. If you are ever near the Lake district try to book a table in the restaurant at Kendal College. On a final note; there is parking on an evening next to the college. Drive up to the barrier and press the call button, security will let you in. The barrier opens automatically on exit."
