Plenty to enjoy here. There's a nice terrace at the back which sees the lunchtime sun. The amuse-bouche was a bit boring but the food we ordered was tasty, well presented and efficiently served.

Is the typical restaurant nice to see, nothing special to eat. The garden inside is nice, but that's all. The service is unpersonal, no smiles. The food is medium-low. Nothing else to say about, it can be easily forgotten.

Beautiful place! Nice inner terrace. Kind efficient service. I took an entrée of jambon serrano, a risotto with shrimp, and a dessert (meringue, cream and red fruit . Very good quality. I took a glass of wine, which turned to be somehow too expensive, in my opinion (10€ . L’addition summed up to 50€.

Very nice venue, modern and lots of locals which is always a good sign. Was surprised they had no tonic to go with my vodka! Staff very helpful, steak was first class, my partner had cod which was properly cooked, both very pleased. I did not have dessert, he had the panacotta which was like jello. The dessert did not end the meal on a high note as was expected.However, I would not rule this place out.

Food is good and nothing bad to say about it. I had the burger and it was fresh. The millefeuille was good as well. However I think it was a bit pricy for what it was. I put this rating because set menu is already expensive and for half of the choices yoj have to add 4 or 6 euro....so why create a menu if you have to add so much on so many choices...The decoration inside is cold but very nice terrasse... I don't regret I went but I won't go back....

I was yesterday at this wonderful restaurant for dinner, with my sisters and my cousin. The restaurant is very beautiful, the staff was really gentle, friendy and efficient and what can i say about the food? Delicious, well presented and profesional! We took risotto with gambas, sashimi of salmon, Sauté de rognons, an american hamburger ( one of the best i ever ate) and the dessert in the end, wine chardonnay..... really Great!Superb experience!Definitely recommended

I had both a lunch and diner in 'Absolu'.The weather was just starting to be good and I had both experiences in the courtyard in the back.Lunch is packed with people working in the neighborhood, Secretaries waiting for their... whoever but men coming separately, welcome to France ! The menu is good, well presented, but not exceptional.Diner was a bit more formal, but you can see that the customers are returning customers and the place is appreciated. I had 'a la carte' for diner and all the dishes were ok, without being exceptional.Service is efficient and friendly.A reasonably good restaurant in VincennesTheir credit card machine just had a problem, not accepting my Chinese Visa, don't know...

Absolu is just opposite the massive fortress of Vincennes. It is close to buses and the Metro and is handy for the Vincennes shopping area. We had a birthday lunch there in December 2013. The décor is modern and chic and reassuringly smart without being pretentions. The atmosphere is welcoming. The staff are professional but friendly. We enjoyed the wines were good quality and good value. All the food was beautifully cooked and well presented. We had no complaints about any of the three courses. Particularly outstanding were the Poêlée de pleurotes starter, the Noix de Saint-Jacques saisies and Magret de canard main dishes and the Tarte au citron meringuée, cheese plate and the profiteroles...
