"lovely place for tea in the summer, but was very cold and would not go again in the winter. Very sad that after our tea we wanted further drinks in the lounge area but service was very poor even though we had made it known we were retiring to the lounge further refreshments. The member of staff did not seem to know about any of the drinks at the bar area nor was he prepared to go and get a member of staff to assist. Very poor even thought the Tea was value for money."

A lovely place to have afternoon tea by the sea. The staff were excellent and the ambiance with the piano was wonderful. A very special afternoon. Thank you :

What a treat. The ambiance was just right we even had the chappy playing the piano in the background. The service was putstanding. The afternoon tea was duvine worth the money.

What a wonderland place to have your afternoon tea at a leisurely pace in such grand surroundings. A delightful place to celebrate a friend's birthday with an excellent selection of afternoon tea favourites.

Very grand hotel indeed, however it looks like it needs a bit of money spent on it. There was no music, it was very stark and quite cold. The afternoon tea was nice but average. I think I would have expected a slightly warmer, more ambient atmosphere.

Beautiful setting, views across the Channel make this. Went for an afternoon tea nice choice of sandwiches (but no top up) and scone (one each) outstanding and still warm when came out. Difficult to access with disability as had to ring them to ask for side door to be opened to avoid steps and didn't see too many staff but those that were there very friendly
