"we were friends of mine about the wonderful Greek buffet in the acropolis. then decided to go there together, which was not a simple business, as some of them are stuttgart and the rest are out of the area. on 14.02. we sat together for four and then called locally and ordered a table for 8 people for 05.03. the joy was great, my guests arrived at the day and we drove to deidesheim just before 18.00 a.m.! then the evil surprise came, there was no table under the name. the chefin said I didn't talk to her. no word of regret, no offer "will you come again later" or maybe at least a secco or ouzo on's house. I'm not even sorry when I asked what else I should leave if not on a phone reservation and where I should go to dinner on Saturday evening with 8 people without reservation!? I'm afraid that didn't matter. for me this is not a kind of business. I will not see this locally as hospitable anymore and I will not recommend it anymore. mistakes always happen everywhere, but this behavior was the last!"

Food was very tasty but service somewhat chaotic. Croquettes only came after eating and billing has also been suffering for 2 times demand worked

lidt gemt af vejen finder man byens græker. god mulighed for servering i gården. maden var god, friskt og tilpas stgt. juicy tilpas tilberedt. venligent betjening. naturallvis sluttes af med en ouzo.

it was rather a not-visit, we know the Greek cuisine neither from vacations nor from visit. regardless of this we have gone satisfactorily and satisfactorily from the beautifully designed restaurant to house.

we were there. unfortunately a little disappointed. prices are high in comparison to performance. eating is not excessively good. the service is somewhat negligent. we were put on a table with dirty tablecloth. my gyros with metaxas sauce came as gyros with tomato sauce and cheese baked. we had hoped for more. our first visit out there in summer was rather disappointing. we won't visit it three times. we used to be in this local and had it in good memory. This time we reserved a table for 2 people with Schlemmerblock for 1 hour.At 18:30 we entered this locally and sat down at the table. so far the food was taken on and 20 minutes later was served. The ordered pfeffermintee was not really nice and the teaglass was not really clean. The crystal duck was not in the glass and it tasted grayish....at any rate not as a crystal white, whose expiry date has not yet expired.

the acropolis is located a bit hidden in a side street on the through road in deidesheim, near market place and old rat house. we were there on Sunday afternoon and had luck getting the last not reserved table. friendly service that eat freshly prepared and very tasty. good drink selection (wine.) my herculesspieß had very delicate meat and a spicy sauce. good supplemental salad with dressing. inexpensive absolutely ok, furnishings cozy in typical ambiente. in the hotel!

"A year ago we were in Hambel's restaurant in Wachenheim for the first time. Since we had the visit in very good memory and we now know the Saumagen, we can even say that we are back. It was a surprise from our friends, because Klaus Hambel gave a brief and interesting introduction to the production of Saumagen in the entrance area of his restaurant to the butcher shop. Admittedly, do not stumble via the word, but if you eat it, you like it. Mr. Hampel welcomed the 12 participants with a glass of champagne, of course from the basement of the neighboring city Wachenheim. And then it started. We now know everything (almost) about the production of the Saumagen. Mr. Hampel is a specialist in production and now has several flavors in his offer, which is even exported to Taiwan. I have already said to the report on the restaurant that Saumagen's acquaintance is due to the Palatinate Helmut Kohl. In Deidesheim, Deidesheimer Hof, by Starkochs, the Saumagen by Klaus Hambel, many public guests were presented. Mr. Hambel always solves his conversation with nice anecdotes about Helmut Kohl and other celebrities. It also explains from which meat parts and other ingredients the filling is made and which spices are used. How long and at what temperatures the stomachs are boiled. In the meantime, a fresh, warm classic soap is brought out of the kitchen and personalized by the boss. It tastes great on a bungalow. As further samples we receive a piece of soap with truffles and soaps with sheep cheese and chili. You can buy other varieties in butcher shop such as soaps with plums or with green pepper or with chestnuts (cheese as the plum says) or placed in rum for the cold season with apples and plums. It was a nice interesting hour. Then there was a door to the restaurant where we could enjoy the Palatinate cuisine. Interestingly, the big cook, no bowls and no swimmers; no swamp that understands his craft excellently. The project will always take place on Friday at 11 a.m. But who wants to ask for the dates. This year was the last date on 18.11. The Palatinate Saumagen is absolutely recommended. I have eaten it only 4-5 years after I have met the quality and taste and I am completely convinced. You just have to try the Saumagen."
