I've been in this restaurant often and I've never been disappointed. wide choice of sweet and savoury crêpes. I recommend trying!

Well eaten, big pizzas! I recommend the very well-stocked valtelina and the correct price for the location (on average chf 18.-- pizza.) the service was fast and well executed. I'll go back!

Arriving Stresa afternoon we spent our time in the town center and planned to go to Locarno next day. we took Logo Maggiore Express to Lacorno and the journey was enjoyable. We arrived there lunch time and looked around for a restaurant. It was Sunday and the restaurant wanted to try was closed so picked Al Bottegone. It was a simple place with full of people. We had gnocchi (was ok but not really great) and very nice ice cream. Total bill was around 65 maybe we had water to drink so we realized when you pass the Italian border it gets expensive.Anyway Locarno experience was good.
