in a small family-run restaurant my Italian is not great. a court was recommended by another customer. a little time, then it realized everything was freshly cooked, including making the house made pasta. superb! wine, delicious, grappa full taste, not. blow off the head. I left a very happy customer.

This simple family-run trattoria is devoted to a few simple dishes of the local cuisine. The menu is very short—the simplest choice is to just have everything. We started with a wonderful plate of local salumi and (at the host’s suggestion) the ubiquitous gnocco fritto...of Piacenza. Then we had one of Piacenza’s simple dishes, pisarei e fasò (something like gnocchetti and beans). We also had one of the few main dishes offered, the punta di vitello al forno, which was juicy and flavorful, with excellent roasted potatoes, no mean feat.
