"Albergo classificato tre stelle, ma con prezzi da 4 e struttura e camere da mezza stella. Cominciamo col dire che quando si chiede se hanno un parcheggio o un'autorimessa, rispondono di sì. In realtà l'hotel è proprio in riva al lago, ma non esiste una strada per raggiungerlo: questo di per sé è un vantaggio perché di notte c'è totale silenzio (il borgo è fatto di 2 hotel (anche un 4 stelle dello stesso proprietario), due bar e poche mini-abitazioni, con albergo diffuso. Il problema è che arrivando in auto ci si trova davanti una lunghissima scalinata non percorribile. Si telefona e, per fortuna, ti mandano su un fuori strada 4x4 che si arrampica sulla scalinata e viene a prenderti i bagagli. Lasci il'auto in uno spiazzo dedicato anche ad altri e scendi a piedi. Salita e discesa accettabili per i giovani, ma non per i vecchi. L'albergo è vetusto, squallido, con mobili brutti da discarica. Le camere sono peggio perché i mobili sono vecchi e scassati, il pavimento è tutto rotto e avvallato (hai la sensazione di sprofondare al piano di sotto. L'unica cosa decente è il bagno, ma con una doccia piccolisima e scivolevole. Il letto è scomodo. L'unico aspetto positivo è il ristorante, con piatti molto accurati e serviti impeccabilmente, su una terrazza che si affaccia direttamente sul lago facendoti godere un magnifico spettacolo. Però i prezzi dei piatti e del vino sono da 5 stelle."

This was our last lunch in Lake Como after spending 10 nights in the area. We had taken a hike a few days earlier and found the town of Torno to be charming. We were spending our last day in Como, so we took the short ferry ride back over to Torno to enjoy lunch on this beautiful patio. The service was wonderful, the food was great and the views out over Lake Como were amazing.

restaurant with lake view where we love to return especially in summer, also accessible by boat. the tables of the restaurant are all arranged in a nice terraced garden, small white pebbles, sheltered from the sun. we have chosen courses based on lake fish but the menu is varied. Today, September 4, 2022 I have had lunch again in this restaurant and unfortunately I have to believe: something has probably changed in the kitchen or organization. we waited for an hour of clock to eat risotto with perch and a wash, and when finally we were brought they did not justify and even apologize.
