"we wanted to pamper ourselves in a concert at the alden restaurant and on a Sunday kulinar. hoppla, but there is something wrong in the kitchen and the offer. Although on their homepage and in the alden zürich culture guide there is nothing that the restaurant is not open on Sunday and only a bistrocard is served, they were welcomed friendly. on our question whether there is nothing else in the day of the day, the big card was still handed over to us. the price-performance ratio is not true. to the Zurich-Swettes we were too rich not self-made kartoffel bags and the meat was too hard for a Zurich-Swetted. Too bad, we had already learned a few days before by phone whether the restaurant has open on Sunday, which is on the homepage in this respect nothing and in the Alden guide, the restaurant has open daily! so we were looking forward to a lucullic Sunday lunch."

in this restaurant you will always welcome. the kitchen and service personnel harmonizes perfectly. the foods are always freshly prepared and taste excellent. in the summer, delicious delicacies are grilled - whether bratwurst or trout in the film. always like to come to the alden restaurant.

Hotel Alden ist ein schönes Hotel in Zürich und das Restaurant ist ebenfalls eine gute Adresse. War neulich dort mit Bekannten die im Hotel geschlafen haben. Bin schon lange nicht mehr im Restaurant und war positiv ueberascht ueber die Vielfältigkeit der Karte, ueber den guten Service und die gute Weine die man zur Auswahl hat. Auf jeden Fall eine gute Adresse auch fuer "locals" und nicht nur fuer Touristen die sich in der Gegend aufhalten.

It's a pretty simple formula; Zurich has some seriously expensive SFR1000 night+ rooms for something quite small. Here it's not only half the price but the rooms are twice the size and less than 20 rooms. Staff are courteous, friendly and pleasant and responsive to requests. They provided an outstanding Chauffer service at minimal notice. The restaurant deserves to be busier than it is. I wanted something properly swiss and the Veal Schnitzel was cooked to perfection, sides and extras great and pretty reasonable. The choice of wines by the glass was good and really well priced. Overall really had a good experience and would go back without hesitation.
