"It was very cold and windy as we toured the Christmas markets and we were looking for a place to get a coffee and cocoa, sit and rest for awhile before continuing our tour of the old town . We chose the Alex since we were in the Midieval Christmas market and by this time we were cold.The place was mobbed as the markets were crowded on this weekend day. Seems everybody had the same idea--search out warmth and hot drinks! Despite being packed, we were seated immediately and service was friendly and prompt. I have to admit we probably stayed a little longer than usual--the warmth of the restaurant and the hot drinks was just too inviting on a cold damp day!"

A super fun place with a great atmosphere, nice food and the best cocktails in town. The service was nice and efficient. ALEX also has a Sunday brunch option, I hope to try it on my next visit.
