The most beautiful part of the Heidelberger...adjusted Gässchen, beautiful park for strolling and of course the historic Tiefburg.

Super rustic and cozy place. The food was great. Too bad that was already too cold for the beer garden, but this is very beautifully designed. Just by phone reservation it didn't want to work and parking is a bit difficult. I want to go back.

we went to dinner after we had read the guide and all the good reviews on tripadvisor. but the service wasn't kind at all, they looked like they didn't like their job. eating was very average. the salat was an uninspired baptism of lola pink and a little cheap feta. it felt more like a tourist trap. we have literally stumbled into this restaurant after we had visited the heilingenberg (heiliger berg). inconspicuous outer (we were not sure whether they were open at all) but lively interior. great food - excellent service - very reasonable prices. seems to be a local favorite (which I usually consider as a good sign).

This is an old restaurant with a great deal of history. The have nice seating in a beer garden in the back that has retractable roof in case it rains. The setting was nice but both my wife's pepper pork steak and my rahm schnitzel...were very tough. It also took three tries to get our check even though we were with a couple that spoke German.

Super original place with beautiful beer garden, under vines, in the backyard. The food tastes delicious, comes quickly and is absolutely fine. One or other vegetarian dish should be found on the map. Service and staff (students especially warn about today.
