We were lucky to get a table with a wonderful view of the old town and the Cathedral. This view alone is a reason for visiting. Then there is great beer, try the local Kneitinger! The food is Ok, typical Bavarian and huge portions. Service...was effective, but foreigners may perceive the high pressure to order fast as unfriendly

This place is awesome! It was packed (which is always a good sign), but with reservations (and making sure we arrived on time), we were seated promptly. With a party of 15 people, the service was excellent, and it helped that the beers came out quickly. Food was served with a short wait and was really good. Talk about value! Can't beat a large plate of their specialty Wienerschnitzels at just over $7-.

The portions are big and the taste is also quite ok. The service was slow to start but picked up later and we had a really nice and friendly waiter. Nothing about the meal made me go wow and hence my three stars. We had a Balkan salad which was dripping in dressing, a uniquely German feature and I did not enjoy that so much.
