"Located over the bridge on the other side of the Donau this restaurant and terrace has really nice views of the old city of Regensburg. The outdoor terrace is really nice and has seating for about 80-100 people. The menu is typical German and has a number of Bavarian and local specialities. The portions are big and the taste is also quite ok. The service was slow to start but picked up later and we had a really nice and friendly waiter. Nothing about the meal made me go wow and hence my three stars. We had a Balkan salad which was dripping in dressing, a uniquely German feature and I did not enjoy that so much. The Obatzda was ok but the brezn was soft and really chewy. The mushroom pan was my favourite and had a nice mix of mushrooms pan fried. It was my favourite part of the meal. All in all an ok experience and I would come back here again if in town."
