typical restaurant in the center, exaggerated generous portions, all very good! excellent beer, but need not be specified!!!

a nice eating with super friendly waiter. the little portions are much in my book! the city itself is very walkable and friendly.

if they are in the dunes, they can of course not expect to go to the classic Bavarian places and hope or want to eat like cannavacciuolo, but they expect to eat the usual classic dinge (worst and spanferkel) and to drink an excellent beer, that is the hacker house .. View menu

Stopped here for lunch as wanted some traditional German food, staff were friendly and it’s a very busy restaurant. We opted for Wiener schnitzel which we both had and it was delicious, the fried potatoes were really tasty as well. Portions were very large and...we didn’t leave hungry. We went for puddings which were apple strudel and granny’s dumpling, both came with custard, not really a bad price we paid as caters for locals and not just tourists.

We had a regrettable visit due to an incredibly RUDE waiter. I’ve never been in a situation where the customer is shouted at by the serving staff for something that the service had failed upon. Not only was I shouted at, I was very intimidated...as the waiter was literally in my face shouting. Was I wrong check where my glass of wine was 15-20 minutes after ordering? Perhaps in other countries the customer isn’t always right? A real shame as the food was very tasty indeed.

we had ordered salt potatoes with crumbled square and obatzta with bread. the obatzta tasted unabated mild and was in order. I have eaten much better variants. the gurke of the salad decoration had already seen better times - she coughed an unobservable and quite large brown, lazy hole. the crimson square was clapped on the teller without a love. besides the everywhere obligatory christmas for deco purposes, there were no ceremonies in the quark. we tapped on garlic granules. for the high prices we have already eaten significantly better. for us an expensive and qualitatiw low quality tourist attraction. We wanted just to see the football game and it was the only place we found in the city centre which had TV with Sky Sport! 5 for this! Of course, we decided to eat here. Waiter was very busy and tired so forgot to...bring appetizer, was not smiling/welcoming (even with mask you can understand this), salt and pepper was given in paper packs like in fast food. That was not the best schnitzel as well (crusty part separated from meat) but fish dish was delicious and just enough portions. I would not go here specially to taste German food but if you are a tourist in city centre-acceptable place if you pass by.
