"We attended this restaurant in the evening, early in the week. It lacked any atmosphere whatsoever and, with the exception of one other group, we were the only other group, it lacked any form of ambience. Furthermore we were seated in a dining area (a room) by ourselves. The time it took to serve the food was extremely slow and this needs to be fixed. The wine list is perfectly fine and there is a good food menu too. The pulpo a la Gallega was excellent as was the cecina de Leon and the steak tartar was also good. The Calamar fritas were average, as were the croquetitas. Main courses were average to good. My rabo de toro just did not have enough meat on them and to be honest, they were not hot enough either. There is room for improvement and this is definitely achievable. The service was perfectly fine but the slowness in food reaching the table within a reasonable time is what let it down for me. We were not in a rush but nevertheless, they need to speed things up and bring the entrantes in at the same time too."

Dropped in for lunch at the end of March. Recommended by the hotel we were staying in. Exceeded our expectations and, by European standards, not very expensive. Fast courteous service with a wide variety of dishes. Location near Saint Louis University's Madrid campus was a fortunate coincidence.

Delicious food in an formal setting with good attention to details. We went at lunch time and enjoyed a great menu where you share the first plates and do choose your second and also desert. The most crispy and delicious Verdejo accompanied our meal. We were dressed casual but the mayority were in suits. Highly recommended since quality, taste and service like this you find only spending about double!

Cuando has comido no te parece caro.
