"This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. We decided to try it for dinner because the menu had vegetarian and seafood choices and was just a couple of blocks walking distance from where we were staying. We are so glad we did....The ambiance was cozy but the service and the food were excellent. My wife speaks French, but my son and I are hopeless at it, however, the staff made every effort to speak English and, even providing us details on how the dishes were made, especially the delicious amuse-bouche which was beautifully presented as a little plant pot. There are so many places to eat in Paris, and some are very well known and popular, but this restaurant is a little neighbourhood gem. We had an amazing vegetable medley dish, a velvety wild mushroom soup, the fish, and the amazing scallops with Brussels Sprouts, which were stolen by my 12-year old son from my wife's plate, that is how good this food was. The desserts were amazing, especially the chocolate log, just so tasty. We were very fortunate to shake hands with the Chef, Monsieur François Gagnaire. It is such a nice experience to meet the person who created such wonderful dishes."

We were taken to this delightful restaurant by our hosts at a meeting. The cooking respects the basic formula of a bistro while offering dishes entirely original in their conception and execution. The restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming.

Why this is not in the top 100 of restaurants in Paris is beyond me. We just managed to squeeze in on a Thursday evening, took the last free table, and this was before 8pm! Everything else reserved! Excellent service and menu and the food...is terrific.

This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our nearby hotel. We went with another couple for dinner. The food was wonderful! Not only did it taste great, but the presentation was beautiful. My dessert (which was accompanied by honey ice cream), came with a...sugar spun bee on top! The staff was friendly and provided great service.

This restaurant is the best we have visited in Paris, and one of the best ever! The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Every course was delicious and beautifully presented. The waiter quickly recognized that English would be easier for us, and was...very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommend!! This place is definitely worth a visit!

Small portions which isn’t unusual for a French bistro, but great quality, however, the quality of food did not match the atmosphere. Feels like you stepped into a cheap café, was expecting a bit more elegance. Service was so which also isn’t unusual, but everyone...who was French clearly took precedence. Food is great but if you’re looking for a nice date night restaurant with a nice atmosphere this wouldn’t be my first pick.

Went with friends who know the restaurant. Easy to order, wait staff ready to explain food, did not push us to decide and order, timely service, professional. Small restaurant where reservations were important, no one waiting however. I tasted others' dishes in addition to my...own, and was pleased with all the food. Interesting mixture of foods. Other friends from the Auvergne region of the country knew of the chef and how good the food is. Definitely worth returning. Wine also very nice.

my friend and I made the tasting menu that was absolutely excellent. the chef even changed a few dinge for my friend who had several food problems. fortunately, I didn't have exactly what the cook had and made in the sense. every cursor was fantastic....Service by all employees was excellent. excellent proposal also for accompanying wine. the chef came to our table to say hi. every dish fresh, inventive, delicious and perfect. I will come back to anicia when I am in paris. love the relaxed atmosphere. very good for quality, food.

Nice experience overall, especially because of the main dish. I had the boudin, a type of black pudding or flange (bloedworst with wine that matched wonderfully. My partner had the fish of the day which tasted great. The shared entree of smoked fishes was a...tad disappointing though, just some tiny slices of smoked salmon and some sardines (straight from the can? and an interesting tuna sausage slice. Room for improvement there? Cheeses afterwards were good but not amazing, the lentil creme brûlée was, though. Don't come here if you are on a budget though, expect wines for 8 to 12€ per glass.

only a top of the line experience. really a plus in everyone's sight. every article was a “Eitem” a unique and special example of why people come to paris to experience wonderful food. You can only not get this product in atlanta or boston or berlin....The tastes and the servings were unique and unforgettable. you could get in the city kansas better rib eyes or better pasta in rome, but you could not get better lamb in the sky. the resto is small and has the feeling of a start. the staff is young and very motivated. they know they have a winner, and we will enjoy their quality next week before the rest of paris discovers them.
