"We stayed at a nearby campsite and popped in for lunch and a drink. We were given a very warm welcome and seated straight away. Drinks very well priced and plenty to choose from. I was pleased to see one of my favourites on tap Inches cider. My 3 kids had food from the kids menu which received no complaints. Great portion sizes and tasty. I had 1/2 pint of prawn tails which was lovely. The whole glass was full of tails so you get more than you expect. My husband had the monkfish and chips which he said was really nice. We all had puddings too. Plenty of options with the usual pub classics choc cake, Eton mess etc but all very nice. All this was under Β£100! Very good value and great quality food. Staff very attentive and friendly. The pub was very busy but very well managed. A true hidden gem that won’t disappoint if you visit. Thank you Applecross Inn."

The Applecross Inn provided a welcome break after our brave/foolhardy adventure traversing the Applecross Pass in a motorhome. It's right on the seafront,

We went to the small take away van located across from the inn and it was quite possibly the best fish and chips we've ever had. It was all cooked to order and the views were amazing.

Book in advance. This place is very coveted and you get why once you watch the sunset with a fresh pint and some Of the local sea food. Get some warm clothes just in case your table is outside. View menu

Fourth lunchtime visit here. Always a warm welcome and great food. Nice selection of local ales and a varied whisky selection. An epic drive over the mountains to get here too. Good for spotting deer. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic service by the staff in the restaurant. Helped us with drinks (delicious Scottish gin! and menu options and did a fab job of dealing with the 6 kids we had with our large group, ensuring they were fed quickly. Did not stay in the Inn

The menu is amazing (loads of seafood) with even options for people with gluten intolerancy. The crab starter with mango and bread was super delicious and they even provided gluten free bread so i felt like in heaven! Staff is helpful, atmosphere is great with log fire and lovely interior! Must visit when in the area

We booked online advance as only a small amount of tables and very popular. Good menu choice unfortunately there were no Scallops or Langostines which we were looking forward to trying.. I had the Salad with Pigeon breast with pine nuts, bacon for starters which was great. Plenty of meat and a good value dish. Very flavoursome. My husband had the Salmon, plenty of fish and good to be able to mix hot and cold smoked. We both had Fish pie which was full of fish.  Great flavour too. For dessert I had the Bread and butter pudding again very nice. Washed down with a bottle of wine. Service was attentive and the location was beautiful. We experienced a stunning sun set. Bring your smidge and head...
